船舶气象导航随船验证

通过横流太平洋往返两个航次随船调查，研究了采用气象导航对减少燃油消耗和保证船舶安全、班期等，不但有定的经济效益，而且是一种非常有效的航运管理方法。     

The Location of Office Space in the Metropolitan Service Economy of the United States, 1985–1990

As the economic base of most American metropolitan areas relies increasingly on services, office industries have shifted to a more pivotal role in the new metropolitan service economy. Using primary office-space usage data of the time period 1985–1990, the changing spatial patterns of this new metropolitan service economy are investigated. It is found that the primary office activities are predominantly concentrated in a relatively small number of the largest metropolitan areas. However, an emerging spatial dispersion in primary office activities is also exhibited. Such dispersion is extremely strong at the upper end of the urban hierarchy. The Sunbelt-Snowbelt dichotomy fails to reveal any differences in the growth pattern of the new metropolitan service economy. A more diversified growth pattern of primary office activities is observed. Concentrated dispersion is the major spatial characteristic of this new metropolitan service economy.     

用现代企业制度改造和重塑多种经营企业加快发展部门产业经济

地勘经济改革的战略思想是建设适应社会主义市场经济的新体制，将现有的地勘队伍组建为＂地质找矿的野战军＂和＂实行企业化的地方军＂．分别按事业机制和企业机制运行。如何实现地勘单位（地方军）的企业化，笔者认为首先必须用现代企业制度改造和重塑现有的多种经营企业，并分析了困难和有利条件，提出了相应的对策和措施，使多种经营企业真正成为符合现代企业制度要求的经济实体。加快发展部门产业经济，才能逐步推进地勘单位的企业化。     

地理科学的信息化与现代化

20世纪我国地理学的成就是空前辉煌的,奠定了现代化的科学基础,21世纪面对全球化、网络化和知识经济的机遇和挑战,需要把全球研究提到日程上来,对地观测技术系统的进步和时、空分辨率的提高,已使全球化同步动态监测成为现实,“地球信息科学”和“数字地球”战略研究提高了对城市化与资源、生态、环境问题的再认识;增强了地理战略决策和参予工程规划、设计的能力。地理学本来就是取法自然、又以人为本的综合性学科,从来就很注重探索时间规律与空间格局及其转换,通过全球化、网络化和智能化,21世纪的地理科学、必将焕然一新。     

绿色招商与县域经济可持续发展——以河南省为例

以河南省县域经济发展为例论述了招商引资对于县域经济发展的重要性,并从可持续发展的角度对当前全民招商的现象进行了反思.在此基础上,讨论了绿色招商的内涵和主要原则,指出绿色招商和循环经济是实现县域经济可持续发展的关键所在.根据县城经济发展的特点,以河南省新郑市和义马市循环经济发展为例,从理论和实证的角度,对县域农业和工业循环经济两大体系构建进行了论述,并对县域绿色招商中应注意的问题,如市场有效性、招商载体构建、实体虚拟产业循环结合等进行了探讨.

四川省经济发展水平的区域差异研究

该文论述行政区划调整后的四川省区域经济发展水平的评价指标体系 ,利用层次分析法确定各指标权重 ,根据 1997年社会经济统计数据对全省 2 0个地市州进行综合评价 ,采用Ward聚类法进行系统聚类分析 ,将全省划分为四大经济发展梯度区 ,分析其区域差异的空间特征 ,探讨它的经济发展对策。     

中国西部地区外向型经济发展比较研究

基于外向型经济战略在众多发展中国家和地区获得成功，贸易和投资自由化正成为世界经济增长的发动机，文章分析了经济全球化背景下中国西部地区在对外贸易、引进外资及国际旅游创汇方面的差距与不足，提出了中国西部地区外向型经济发展的战略对策和建议，旨在推动中国西部大开发。     

Dilemmas of development in Oceania: the political economy of the Tongan agro-export sector

This article critically engages with the recent diffusion of the orthodox development model in Oceania and highlights some evolving dilemmas. In particular, it explores the social, economic and ecological tensions arising from economic reforms that are exacerbating the fragility of already vulnerable nation-states and communities. In order to illustrate its arguments, a case study of the impacts of agro-export growth in Tonga is presented. Attention is drawn to the socially inequitable and ecologically unsustainable outcomes of rapid growth in this sector. In analyzing the political economy of the squash pumpkin sector, the authors point to the important role that culture plays in mediating and conditioning development outcomes. Reflecting on the Tongan case, it is argued that to better understand the implications of orthodox developmental reform in the region, research must seek to more explicitly incorporate distributional and ethical analysis.
