We developed generalised additive models (GAMs) to estimate standardised time-series of population abundance indices for assessment purposes and to infer ecological and behavioural information on northern Benguela hakes, Merluccius capensis and M. paradoxus, using haul-by-haul commercial trawl catch-rate data as proxies for hake densities. The modelling indicated that individual ship identifiers should be used rather than general vessel characteristics, such as vessel size. The final models explained 79% and 68% of the variability in the commercial catch rates of M. capensis and M. paradoxus, respectively. The spatial density patterns were consistent and confirmed existing knowledge about these species in the northern Benguela system. Furthermore, seasonal migration patterns were described for the first time and were found to correspond to the known spawning areas and seasons for M. capensis and M. paradoxus. Spatial density patterns were validated using the geostatistical modelling results of fisheries-independent trawl survey data. Improved understanding of the relationships between fleet dynamics and fish movement can be achieved by taking into consideration the present catch-rate model and spatial and seasonal distribution maps. We conclude that the yearly standardised CPUE time-series are problematic as proxies for total stock abundance because of spatial coverage issues. Consequently, such CPUE data should not be used for stock-size assessments and fisheries advice concerning northern Benguela hakes until this is solved. We generally recommend the exclusion of standardised CPUE time-series from stock assessments when important and changing parts of the stock distribution cannot be targeted by the fishery, such as due to closed areas or seasons.  相似文献

We demonstrate the possibility to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of superconducting gravity time-series by correcting for local hydrological effects. Short-term atmospheric events associated with heavy rain induce step-like gravity signals that deteriorate the frequency spectrum estimates. Based on 4D modeling constrained by high temporal resolution rain gauge data, rainfall admittances for the Vienna and Membach superconducting gravity stations are calculated. This allows routine correction for Newtonian rain water effects, which reduces the standard deviation of residuals after tidal parameter adjustment by 10%. It also improves the correction of steps of instrumental origin when they coincide with step-like water mass signals.  相似文献

近年来,由于地铁等地下工程大规模的建设产生了严重的地表沉降,从而诱发许多地质灾害,严重阻碍了中国城市化进程。因此,采用高精度雷达监测技术,对城市地质灾害监测及风险评估具有重要意义。本文利用SBAS-InSAR技术,基于24景X波段TerraSAR数据和32景C波段Sentinel-1数据,时间跨度分别为2013年7月至2015年8月、2015年7月至2018年2月,对地铁建设完成后的福州市区地表沉降进行长时间系列形变监测。监测结果表明,研究区域内的最大沉降速率为-12 mm/a,在整个观测周期内发现了8个沉降漏斗。并对这些区域进行进一步的时间序列分析,其中有3个区域呈现出地质灾害初期的特征,并且地表沉降存在进一步加剧的可能。  相似文献

复种指数是进行粮食估产、耕地集约利用评价、农业生态系统模拟等的关键参数,及时、准确地提取复种指数对于粮食安全、土地管理和生态环境安全具有重要意义。在传统的研究中,复种指数主要来源于地面统计数据。使用统计数据来计算复种指数虽然过程简单,但是计算结果存在信息滞后、无法体现统计单元内部的空间异质性、精度低等不足。遥感技术因具有大范围、高时效、低成本等优点而被用于耕地复种指数监测,已有学者对耕地复种指数的遥感监测开展了大量工作。本文以复种指数遥感提取的关键环节为主线,对1997—2020年国内外相关研究进行综述:首先,梳理了已有研究中的监测方法、高质量时间序列遥感数据获取方法及提取结果精度验证方法,并对不同方法的优缺点进行了总结;其次,对已有研究中存在的不足进行了探讨,并提出未来研究的侧重点:① 开展已有监测方法的对比和分析;② 加强地形复杂地区、小农尺度的监测力度;③ 提高遥感数据时空分辨率及处理效率;④ 对提取结果进行多尺度验证。  相似文献

不透水面作为反应城市表征变化和区域城镇化的重要技术指标,其位置、图斑大小、空间分布等信息在地表水热循环和能量平衡等领域被广泛需求。传统方法大都基于单一时相信息提取不透水面,而忽略多时相所蕴含的丰富信息。因此,本文提出多时相信息融合的不透水面级联提取方法,利用Landsat-8 OLI遥感影像分析归一化植被指数(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, NDVI)、改进的归一化水体指数(Modified Normalized Difference Water Index, MNDWI)和归一化建筑指数(Normalized Difference Building Index, NDBI)年内时序变化特点和典型地物间多时相波谱曲线的协同特征,并归纳不透水面多时相变化规律;再根据先验知识所获取的有效地表信息,进行多时相分级提取不透水面信息。此外,基于实地考察数据和同期2 m GF-1遥感影像屏幕数字化生成30 m不透水面图斑,进行精度验证、分析和对比单时相、四季相及多时相3种时序情况下的提取精度。结果表明:单时相提取不透水面总精度最低,四季相提取精度优于单时相,而多时相提取精度最高(精度可达93.66%,Kappa系数为0.81)。本方法在偏远城镇不透水面的有效识别中显露潜在优势,可为不透水面提取方法融合时序波谱特征提供新思路。  相似文献

We analyze a two-year time-series of chromophoric dissolved organic matter (CDOM) light absorption measurements in the upper 400 m of the water column at the BOUSSOLE site in the NW Mediterranean Sea. The seasonal dynamics of the CDOM light absorption coefficients at 440 nm (acdom(440)) is essentially characterized by (i) subsurface maxima forming in spring and progressively reinforcing throughout summer, (ii) impoverishment in the surface layer throughout summer and (iii) vertical homogeneity in winter. Seasonal variations of the spectral dependence of CDOM absorption, as described by the exponential slope value (Scdom), are characterized by highest values in summer and autumn at the surface and low values at the depths of acdom(440) subsurface maxima or just below them. Variations of acdom(440) are likely controlled by microbial digestion of phytoplankton cells, which leads to CDOM production, and by photochemical destruction (photobleaching), which leads to CDOM degradation. Photobleaching is also the main driver of Scdom variations. Consistently with previous observations, acdom(440) for a given chlorophyll a concentration is higher than expected from Case I waters bio-optical models. The total non-water light absorption budget shows that surface waters at the BOUSSOLE site are largely dominated by CDOM during all seasons but the algal bloom in March and April. These results improve the knowledge of CDOM absorption dynamics in the Mediterranean Sea, which is scarcely documented. In addition, they open the way to improved algorithms for the retrieval of CDOM absorption from field or satellite radiometric measurements.  相似文献

利用多时相的Landsat TM/ETM+和DEM数据,分别采用直方图匹配(HM)和准不变特征点(PIFs)方法对影像序列进行相对辐射校正,减少了影像的光照和大气条件在时间上的不确定性,提高了归一化植被指数(NDVI)和地表水分指数(LSWI)的计算精度。根据水稻在不同生育期表现出的生理特征,基于LSWI和NDVI时间序列及高程特征,采用二叉树方法提取了浙江省金华市水田信息。经过验证,在空间上水田信息的提取精度达到92.3%,在县域尺度上提取面积与统计年鉴具有0.97的相关度。  相似文献

Laser Doppler Anemometry (LDA) has proved a powerful tool for quantifying fluid turbulence and is increasingly being applied in fields such as fluvial sedimentology and geomorphology. When operated in the burst-signal processing mode, high-frequency velocity fluctuations are measured at irregular time internals. In many situations, there is a need to transform these data to obtain evenly spaced velocity values but at a lower frequency. However, clear guidelines for this type of data processing are lacking. Three steps are necessary in order to transform the original files into evenly spaced data: (1) resampling at the average sampling rate, (2) low-pass filtering with half-power frequency adjusted to the final sampling frequency, and (3) decimating at the desired frequency. The decision taken at each step will affect the resulting signal and may cause, if not assessed carefully, severe problems in the signal such as aliasing errors. This paper examines each stage of data processing and details the advantages and drawbacks of different techniques in relation to the effects on turbulence statistics (variance, instantaneous shear stress, etc.).
