“测绘专业英语”课程教学改革的探索与实践

测绘专业英语既是一门语言课,同时又具有明显的专业课特征,这决定课程在测绘人才培养中具有承前启后的重要作用。测绘专业英语的教学质量,直接影响到大学生毕业后能否较好地利用英语开展测绘领域的相关工作。为此,结合测绘工程本科专业的特点及学生实际,在教学中针对教学目的、教学内容和教学方法做了一些有益的探索与实践。     

GIS professional development for teachers: lessons learned from high-needs schools

University faculty partners from the Departments of Geography and Instruction and Teacher Education at a large, public university collaborated with K-12 teachers and the leadership of a rural school district in order to investigate the crosscutting content of science, mathematics, and geography through the integration of web-based GIS technologies. The project explored the critical connections among technology, pedagogy, and content with a particular emphasis on developing technology-enhanced, inquiry-based lessons in which the teachers and their students used GIS technologies to analyze, visualize, and present data in real-world contexts. The findings highlight the importance of well-structured professional development that builds community, integrates diverse content and pedagogical expertise, provides feedback and coaching, and is of sufficient duration to effect change.     

测绘行业人力资源培训外包问题研究

系统培训是增加企业人力资本存量、提升企业核心竞争力重要的手段之一。因此,越来越多的企业将培训放到重要的位置上,整合组织的内外部资源进行有效的培训。将非核心培训项目外包,既利用外包供应商的专业水平和成本优势,又使企业人力资源部能专注于提升核心竞争力的活动。     

以需求为导向的GIS专业人才培养模式

在详细分析GIS学科特征及社会、经济对GIS专业人才的需求状况的基础上,阐述了GIS专业课程设置的指导思想和原则,在此基础上提出了GIS专业课程设置和实践教学体系设计的方案。     

Daily reservoir inflow forecasting using artificial neural networks with stopped training approach

In this paper, an early stopped training approach (STA) is introduced to train multi-layer feed-forward neural networks (FNN) for real-time reservoir inflow forecasting. The proposed method takes advantage of both Levenberg–Marquardt Backpropagation (LMBP) and cross-validation technique to avoid underfitting or overfitting on FNN training and enhances generalization performance. The methodology is assessed using multivariate hydrological time series from Chute-du-Diable hydrosystem in northern Quebec (Canada). The performance of the model is compared to benchmarks from a statistical model and an operational conceptual model. Since the ultimate goal concerns the real-time forecast accuracy, overall the results show that the proposed method is effective for improving prediction accuracy. Moreover it offers an alternative when dynamic adaptive forecasting is desired.     

卫星+AI时代遥感专业模式识别课程的教学实践与改革

在人工智能时代深化遥感产业发展背景下,遥感专业人才培养需要与时俱进,以提高人工智能应用能力。本文针对目前遥感科学与技术专业人工智能核心课程模式识别教学现状及存在的问题,提出面向遥感专业应用导向的模式识别课程建设思路,从教学内容和实践环节两个方面设计了以提高遥感专业学生人工智能应用能力为目的的教学方案。从教学反馈结果来看,本文提出的教学思路不仅激发了学生对模式识别课程学习的兴趣,而且提高了学生应用模式识别方法进行遥感信息解译的能力。     

Stop making sense: the trials and tribulations of qualitative data analysis

An account is given of a research project with particular attention to the place of data analysis and interpretation. It shines some light into what often remains the black box of qualitative research practice, the mysterious process of generating a research narrative based on the data. The paper provides other apprentice researchers with an insight into what the data analytical experience can be like, warts and all. It raises issues to do with qualitative data analysis, the use of CAQDAS, grounded theory, the relationship between the narratives of the researcher and the researched, and about the training of qualitative researchers.     

中国气象局直属机关青年人才队伍建设研究

中国气象局直属机关青年比例较高,且普遍具备高学历,整体综合素质强,是气象人才队伍的生力军,是气象事业发展的中流砥柱。通过调研,发现青年人才在政治理论学习、职业发展现状、生活工作压力等方面还存在一些问题。针对青年人才队伍中存在的问题,从提高政治理论教育成果、注重青年思想价值观引导、健全青年人才管理机制、加强职业规划指导、关注青年心理健康等方面提出建议,为进一步提升青年工作质量,加强青年人才队伍建设提供参考。     

非测绘专业测量学课程改革的实践与思考

介绍我校工业总图设计等专业测量学课程为适应专业培养目标的需要,在教学内容选择、教学改革实践与思考方面的作法与体会,对非测绘专业测量学课程内容的调整、教学手段改革等有一定的参考意义。
