Parametric Analysis and Experimental Study on Local Flexibility of TY-Type Tubular Joints

Loal flexibility of tubular joints has important effect on the static and dynamic behaviour of offshore platforms, therefore, the determination of it becomes an important research subject in the field of offshore engineering. In this paper, the local flexibility of TY-type tubular joints, which are widely used in offshore platforms, is calculated by using semi- analytical method. Based on the calculated results, parametric formulae for evaluating element in the local joint flexibility matrix of TY- type tubular joints are derived by regression. A test on PVC models of TY-type tubular joints to measure the local joint flexibility is also reported. A comparison of the results calculated from the parametric formulae presented in this paper with those measured from the model test shows that the parametric formulae are reliable. It is recommended that these formulae be used in the global structural analysis of offshore platforms.     

海洋平台磁流变阻尼器半主动控制研究

基于现代最优控制理论建立海洋平台磁流变 (MR)半主动控制系统的数学模型 ,采用白噪声过程通过滤波器来近似随机波浪力谱。以典型导管架平台为算例 ,对磁流变阻尼器进行了参数设计。分析了 MR阻尼器对海洋平台振动控制的有效性 ,仿真结果表明 ,采用磁流变阻尼器对海洋平台进行半主动控制能够有效的减小平台的动态响应。     

Monocolumn behavior in waves: Experimental analysis

A series of tests with a model of a monocolumn platform with a moonpool were performed at the LabOceano/COPPE, at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, with the objective of determining the entrance area at the bottom of the moonpool that minimizes vertical motion in waves. The tests include measurements of monocolumn surge, pitch and heave motion, vertical motion of the water column inside the moonpool, with different mooring systems, in regular, irregular and transient waves.This paper presents experimental results of the monocolumn vertical motion and the internal water column motion in the moonpool in transient waves and results of vertical motion of the water column inside the moonpool with the model held still in transient waves. These measurements allow an analysis of the impact of the moonpool's bottom opening on the monocolumn vertical motion in waves.The theoretical analysis of a mass–spring–damper system with two degrees of freedom, similar to the studied system, has shown some analogy with den Hartog's damped vibration absorber; however, there are significant differences in terms of added mass and coupled terms of added mass and damping coefficients dependent on oscillation frequencies.

一种基于Agent位置透明及消息缓冲体的消息传递机制

针对移动 Agent的可靠消息传递问题 ,提出 1种基于 Agent位置透明及消息缓冲体的消息传递机制 ,并从 Agent命名、Agent服务注册和消息缓冲几个方面 ,给出消息传递机制的具体实现算法。与现有通信机制相比 ,较好解决了 Agent在移动前后及移动过程中的消息传递问题。     

Numerical and Experimental Research on the Global Performances of Cell-Truss Spar Platform

Spar technology has been applied to the deep-sea oil and gas exploitation for several years.From the first generation of classic spar,the spar platform has developed into the second generation of truss spar and the latest cell spar.Owing to its favorable adaptability to wide range of water depth and benign motion performances,spar has aroused quite a lot of interests from oil companies,universities and research institutes.In the present paper,a new cell-truss spar concept,put forward by the State Key Laboratory of Ocean Engineering(SKLOE)at Shanghai Jiao Tong University,is studied both numerically and experimentally.The numerical simulation was conducted by means of nonlinear time-domain fully coupled analysis,and its results were compared to the experimental data.Whereafter,detailed analysis was carried out to obtain the global performances of the new spar concept.Proposals for the improvement of numerical calculation and experimental technique were tabled meanwhile.

Equivalent Simplifying of Tower Structure and Its Application in Overall Analysis of Offshore Platform

Based on some mechanical principles, this paper presents a new way for simplifying the tower structure on the platform, i. e., substituting the three-dimensional tower structure by using beam elements. For the overall analysis of offshore platform, this method can not only save man- power and computer time, but also get better results. This paper introduces the equivalent-simplifying method and its application in engineering.
