Cognitive Abilities in the Service of Wayfinding: A Functional Approach

A functionally oriented framework for examining the cognitive abilities that are involved in human wayfinding is suggested. The framework includes a categorical distinction among types of wayfinding tasks (commutes, explores, and quests) and means used most frequently to accomplish these tasks (piloting, repetition of locomotor pattern, path integration, and navigation by cognitive map). The cognitive abilities contributing to these wayfinding means have been demonstrated by research on spatial cognition and behavior or can be inferred from relevant research and theory.     

Stable 85Rb micro vapour cells: fabrication based on anodic bonding and application in chip-scale atomic clocks

We describe the microfabrication of ⁸⁵Rb vapour cells using a glass-silicon anodic bonding technique and in situ chemical reaction between rubidium chloride and barium azide to produce Rb. Under controlled conditions, the pure metallic Rb drops and buffer gases were obtained in the cells with a few mm³ internal volumes during the cell sealing process. At an ambient temperature of 90 ℃ the optical absorption resonance of ⁸⁵Rb D1 transition with proper broadening and the corresponding coherent population trapping (CPT) resonance, with a signal contrast of 1.5% and linewidth of about 1.7 kHz, have been detected. The sealing quality and the stability of the cells have also been demonstrated experimentally by using the helium leaking detection and the after-9-month optoelectronics measurement which shows a similar CPT signal as its original status. In addition, the physics package of chip-scale atomic clock (CSAC) based on the cell was realized. The measured frequency stability of the physics package can reach to 2.1×10^-10 at one second when the cell was heated to 100 ℃ which proved that the cell has the quality to be used in portable and battery-operated devices.

农户对农村居民点整合的意愿及其驱动机制——以重庆市沙坪坝区曾家镇白林村为例

农村居民点整合作为乡村治理的重要内容,在时间上,既要与农村居民点建设相联系,又要真实反映未农户的居住意愿、需求与偏好;在空间上,既要满足不同农户的生产、生活需求,还要考虑农户所在村落的空间层次;尊重农户的整合意愿与发挥农村居民点整合效应间的耦合,已成为农村居民点整合和解决民生的重心。研究选取重庆市沙坪坝区曾家镇白林村为样点,采取“PRA(Participatory Rural Appraisal)+3S(GIS+RS+GPS)”的方法建立“农户—土地”空间特征与属性特征一体化数据库,按农户生计资产配置结构和未来生计发展趋势,剖析不同类型农户对农村居民点整合的意愿及其驱动机制。结果表明:农户农村居民点整合意愿各异,非农专业化发展型(72.82%)>非农多样化发展型(49.66%)>兼业发展型(44.44%)>农业专业化发展型(36.84%)>农业多样化发展型(37.33%)。农户农村居民点整合意愿受家庭经济、居住环境、社会交往及政策等多种因素的影响,而农户后顾生计来源及其收入变化、居住条件、邻里关系、社会地位感知是农户农村居民点整合意愿形成的重要驱动机制。

东北地区城乡一体化进程评估

对东北区内部的沿海大城市地区、中部大城市地区和西部中等城市地区,分别选取大连、长春和白城作为调查对象,分析各典型城市地区的城乡一体化进程。主要以现状行政区划的市区代表城市地域,市区外围的县(县级市)和个别远郊区代表乡村地域,以乡镇为研究单元,采用综合指数法评价城乡一体化的进程。城乡一体化综合指数由经济发展水平、农村非农化水平、社会公平和福利、交通及日常联系等方面的相对指标构成,通过乡村各微观地域(乡镇、县)各项指标与中心城市的比值加权求和而得。综合指数计算并结合实地考察的初步结论是：各地区城乡联系逐步加强并趋于多样化,围绕中心城市的外围地域已经形成了包括高度一体化地域(一级)、中度一体化地域(二级)、初级一体化地域(三级)、传统农村地域(四级)在内的空间序列,其中大连地区4个级别的一体化地域序列完整,高度一体化地域已经形成并逐步扩大,城乡关系趋于逐步融合;长春地区缺失第一级,白城地区只有第三、四级,城乡二元结构仍然明显。     

Coherent spectroscopy of a strongly driven triple quantum dot molecule

Based on a calculation model, we study the interference phenomena of serially coupled V-type and Λ-type triple quantum dots (CTQDs) driven simultaneously by a strong driving field and a weak probe field. Strongly depending on the configuration of the three-level CTQD, the probe absorption spectra, which are shown in the tunneling current, exhibit various quantum coherence properties. In the case where the two pairs of transitions of the CTQD have a small eigenfrequency difference Δω, the double-coupling effect of the driving field results in two Autler-Townes doublets and one weak Mollow triplet in one spectrum. With the value of Δω increasing, only one Autler-Townes splitting remains due to the single-coupling of the field. We also find that the effect of spontaneous emission of phonons may lead to an obvious background current, which can be used to distinguish which transition is driven by the driving field in experiment. The interesting quantum property of a CTQD revealed in our results suggests its potential applications in quantum modulators and quantum logic devices.     

中国省际市场整合程度的空间特征及影响因素

基于径向基神经网络和相对价格法构建中国省际市场整合程度综合指标并分析其变动趋势,随后利用锡尔指数和Moran指数分析其空间特征,最后基于ECM-GMM面板计量模型分析其变动的显著性影响因素。研究发现:1992~2007年中国省际市场整合程度呈波动式平缓增长趋势,东部、中部和西部地区分别呈稳步提高、逐步降低、先提高后降低的趋势;全国和地区间省际市场整合程度的区域差异呈增长趋势,其空间相关性则由负空间相关演变为显著正空间相关,上海、江苏和浙江成为中国目前省际市场整合程度较高省份的显著集聚区;经济发展水平、国有经济比重、金融资本市场和国内市场规模是影响中国省际市场整合程度的显著性因素。     

广西北部湾城市群的区域整合与关系协调研究

对北部湾城市群的发展规模、发展水平、发展阶段和协调机制等方面的问题进行了分析;在培育中心城市、建设交通网络、加强港口的分工与协作、提高区域发展的综合效益等方面提出了北部湾城市群区域整合的思路.提出北部湾城市群的区域整合应注意协调五大关系:港城关系与主辅港关系、港口后方集疏系统与城际交通网络的协调、岸线合理利用问题、中心城市之间的关系、与粤西湛江、茂名的关系.最后,从加强区域管治,加快体制创新,扩大对外开放等方面提出相应的建议.
