南迦巴瓦峰地区土地结构及土地资源的合理利用

从土地空间结构、土地数量结构、土地质量结构、土地利用结构和土地演替结构等方面对南迦巴瓦峰地区土地结构进行分析，结果表明：区土地结构独特，垂直分异现象明显，宜农、宜牧、宜林土地资源的数量和质量不平衡。在此基础上对土地利用中存在的主要问题及其合理开发利用与保护进行了探讨，并提出该区合理持续利用土地资源的重要措施为提高现有耕地单位面积产量、保护森林资源和加强草场建设。     

水资源优化利用中两类数学模型间的分析比较

近期全球气候变化及人类经济活动规模的扩大，对人类赖以生存的自然环境造成很大影响，其中维持生态平衡的主导因子之一──水资源时空分布的变化，引起了人们极大的关注。尤其是干旱地区水资源表现出的稀缺性，已严重影响到人们将来的生存和经济发展问题。针对这种情况，人们在开发和利用水资源的过程中，建立了各种模型，以期对水资源进行精确的定量化研究，达到对水资源优化利用和管理的目的。通过比较“连续寻优的优化模型”和“离散方案的多目标密切值模型”，分析其各自的原理和规化思想，对其各自的预测功能进行了讨论，进而说明了两类模型的应用范围。提出将两类模型加以综合，然后应用于同一研究地区、以期得到更为优良的结果，为研究地区的经济发展提供可靠的决策依据。

Water resources optimization and eco-environmental protection in Qaidam Basin

In order to realize sustainable development of the arid area of Northwest China, rational water resources exploitation and optimization are primary prerequisites. Based on the essential principle of sustainable development, this paper puts forward a general idea on water resources optimization and eco-environmental protection in Qaidam Basin, and identifies the competitive multiple targets of water resources optimization. By some qualitative methods such as Input-output Model & AHP Model and some quantitative methods such as System Dynamics Model & Produce Function Model, some standard plans of water resources optimization come into being. According to the Multiple Targets Decision by the Closest Value Model, the best plan of water resources optimization, eco-environmental protection and sustainable development in Qaidam Basin is finally decided.     

新疆流域水资源分配模拟系统设计

通过对有关项目研究成果的分析，总结了新疆流域水资源分配模拟系统设计的基本原理与方法。其中对模拟模型的建立、模拟系统的结构与各子模块的功能及寻求合理分水方案的方法进行了详细分析与说明。     

塔里木河水资源利用的效益与生态损失

针对塔里木河流域水资源利用引起的下游水量减少，进而导致生态退化，分析了近30年该河源流区地表水引用和河流水量变化关系，用分摊法估算了水资源利用的直接效益和恢复下游地表径流的恢复费用。     

Geologic Coal Assessment: The Interface with Economics

Geologic resource assessments describe the location, general characteristics, and estimated volumes of resources, whether in situ or technically recoverable. Such compilations are only an initial step in economic resource evaluation. This paper identifies, by examples from the Illinois and Appalachian basins, the salient features of a geologic assessment that assure its usefulness to downstream economic analysis. Assessments should be in sufficient detail to allocate resources to production units (mines or wells). Coal assessments should include the spatial distribution of coal bed characteristics and the ability to allocate parts of the resource to specific mining technologies. For coal bed gas assessment, the production well recoveries and well deliverability characteristics must be preserved and the risk structure should be specified so dryholes and noncommercial well costs are recovered by commercially successful wells.
