Precipitation measurements from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) satellite indicate that the southeastern area of Kalimantan (Borneo) Island receives much less rainfall than elsewhere on the island during the period from July to October.Results from sur-face meteorological observations show that the diurnal cycle of rainfall differs greatly between the eastern and western coasts of the island.Rainfall on the western coast of the island is frequent in the afternoon and evening,whereas almost all rainfall on the eastern coast occurs in the morning.Meanwhile,the Global Positioning System (GPS)-derived precipitable water (PW) on the eastern coast shows a substantial decrease in moisture in the af-ternoon and evening.Numerical experiments with a mesoscale model reveal that gravity waves driven by di-urnal heating of the elevated land surface of the moun-tains on Sulawesi Island,which lies approximately 300 kilometers to the east of Kalimantan Island,significantly affect the diurnal cycle of rainfall over southeast Kali-mantan Island. 相似文献

低低卫星跟踪卫星的观测量是两低轨卫星的星间距离或星间速度,星间加速度由星间速度通过数值微分导出,用星间加速度作为观测量可以避免解算卫星运动的变分方程,简化观测方程的建立,但数值微分会使观测噪声放大,从而影响重力位的解算精度.为了定量给出星间加速度观测模式的精度,本文分析并模拟验证了数值微分公式计算星间加速度的精度,导出了基于星间加速度的一般形式的观测方程,模拟计算了基于星间加速度的重力位模型.结果表明,采用星间加速度观测模式的解算精度要明显低于星间速度观测模式的解算精度. 相似文献

GOCE卫星由于加速度计的特殊安装方式,其非保守力主要由普通模式的组合加速度提供,使得单个加速度计的特征更难提取.本文首次采用实测数据,研究了单加速度计模式下的高低跟踪数据处理.利用GOCE任务2009年(2009-11—2009-12)的实测数据,分别以GOCE卫星梯度仪坐标系三个坐标轴正向的加速度计为研究对象,利用1s间隔的高采样轨道数据,采用动力法同时进行卫星重力场建模和加速度计的精密校准.为了克服两极地区的数据缺失对重力场模型低次系数的影响,即所谓的极空白问题,引入同期GRACE卫星的观测数据,采用方差分量估计方法,建立了GRACE/GOCE卫星跟踪卫星重力场模型WHU-GRGO-SST.该模型完全到100阶次,经6169个美国GPS水准点数据检验,在同阶次上与EGM2008和GGM05S的精度水平相同.分析发现,GOCE卫星的加速度计偏差参数存在显著的漂移,也显示了单加速度计模式处理GOCE高低跟踪数据的优势.本文的研究成果为建立静态高分辨率、高精度的GRACE/GOCE重力场模型提供了更严密的模型与技术方案,同时也为GOCE卫星梯度仪校准,以及梯度数据的深入分析提供了重要的参考信息. 相似文献

The Garzón Massif, is an active Laramide style basement uplift flanked by the Upper Magdalena Valley (UMV) and the Putumayo Basin. In this paper we use new gravity, magnetic, well and seismic data for the first geophysical interpretation of the Garzón Massif. The Garzón/Algeciras fault has been previously interpreted as a right-lateral strike-slip fault. The new seismic, well, and gravity data demonstrates that the Garzón fault is also a low-angle (12–17°) Andean age fault thrusting PreCambrian basement 10–17 km northwestward over Miocene sediments of the UMV in a prospective footwall anticline.The new geophysical data as well as previous field mapping were used to produce the first gravity and magnetic maps and retrodeformable structural cross section of the northern Garzón Massif. The new model distinguishes for the first time distinct episodes of “thin-skinned” and “thick-skinned” deformation in the Garzón Massif. The model indicates approximately 43 km of Early to Middle Miocene shortening by “thin-skinned” imbricate thrusting contemporaneous with the uplift of the nearby southern Central Cordillera (∼9–16 Ma) and the main hydrocarbon expulsion event for the UMV and Putumayo Basin. This was followed by at least 22 km of Late Miocene (3–6 Ma) “thick-skinned” Andean shortening and 7 km of uplift on the symmetrical Garzón thrust and a SE-verging basement thrust fault zone. The Andean uplift interrupted and exposed the hydrocarbon migration pathways to the Putumayo Basin.3-D volume fracture analysis was used for the first time in this paper together with the first seismic and well data published for the Topoyaco and Miraflor structures to test closure models for the Topoyaco foothills. Intense fracturing is observed in the Topoyaco basement monocline from the near-surface to depths of over 3.5 km. The high level of fracturing permitted freshwater flushing and oil biodegradation and hydrocarbon escape. In contrast, the Miraflor-1 well, located just southwest of the Topoyaco block, tested light gravity oil and is sealed from groundwater flushing and biodegradation by a backthrust. 相似文献

The high-amplitude wide magnetic anomaly that covers a large area of the north-eastern – central Adriatic Sea in the Croatian offshore is ∼100 km wide and extends NW–SE for ∼350 km. The anomaly is located between the Dinarides and Apennines chains, in an interesting geodynamic scenario. The presence of intruded gabbroid rocks in the Croatian archipelago also contributes to making this intriguing and still not extensively investigated anomaly potentially significant to the geologic and geophysical context in which it is located. In this work, we model the Bouguer and magnetic anomalies across the Adriatic Sea. The 2D geophysical modeling was produced across four cross sections considering surface heat flow data to calculate the Curie depth. The magnetic susceptibilities and densities used for the synthetic bodies are in agreement with the literature and with those derived by previous models. The results suggest the presence of an uplifted magnetized basement with high magnetic susceptibility (0.075 SI units) to be the main contributor to the observed magnetic anomaly. This magnetic susceptibility is interpreted as representative of a gabbroid-intruded basement. The high-susceptibility basement is in lateral continuity with a relatively low susceptibility basement (0.025–0.038 SI units). The results of the geophysical modeling are compared with a conceptual geological model realized from the integration of surface, well and geophysical data, the latter concerning seismic, tomographic, magnetic and gravimetric anomalies and heat flow data. These data have been merged in an integrated data-base using MOVE software, and the geophysical modeling was performed using GM-SYS. The comparison allowed to confirm the hypothesis that the magnetic anomaly is related to the basement and to its position in the complex geodynamic evolution of the Apennines–Adriatic–Dinarides system. 相似文献

Lock-exchange experiments are conducted to investigate the effects of emergent vegetation on gravity currents flowing down a slope. Rigid and emergent cylinders are used to represent vegetation such as reeds in aquatic environments. The results show that the head of gravity currents without cylinders forms a semi-elliptic shape, similar to the flat bed case. For the slope-induced gravity, however, the head of gravity currents gradually grows and accelerates. A steeper slope without cylinders causes the evident entrainment and subsequent energy dissipation of gravity currents with ambient fluid. When the cylinder population becomes denser, developments of the head become slower, and the semi-elliptic head can be only seen at the very front end. As the density reaches 6.9%, the interface between the saltwater and freshwater performs an inclined straight line, corresponding to the pervious theoretical derivation. The gravity current event could go through two different routes under the similar toe speeds. The current head without cylinders grows along the downslope path, and the enrollment and mixing with ambient fluid could occur at the edge of the head; while the currents within dense cylinders (∼6.9%) has a nearly constant thickness and a smaller and more streamlined head at the very front end. As the cylinder density increases, the front speed of gravity currents transforms from acceleration to deceleration phases. The experimental results reveal that the head would accelerate over the downslope course if the cylinder density is less than 2%. 相似文献

The paper presents the results of a joint analysis of ground-based and satellite observations of very low-frequency and low-frequency (VLF/LF) signals during periods of strong seismic activity in the region of Kuril Islands and Japan in 2004–2010. Ground and satellite data was processed using a method based on the difference between the real signal in nighttime and that of a model. The results of the analysis show a good correlation between ground-based and satellite data for several cases of strong (M ⩾ 6.8) earthquakes. 相似文献

Based on an analysis of the source of errors in marine gravity measurements, an error model, firstly, is constructed mathematically which can characterize the change of systematic errors and with which a new crossover adjustment model is presented in this paper. Then, two methods of compensating the systematic errors are proposed, i.e., the self-calibrating adjustment and the a-posteriori compensation. Some questions involved in solving the adjustment problem, such as the rank deficiency, the choice of error model, the weighting of model parameters and the significance test of compensation efficiency, etc., are discussed in detail. Finally, a practical survey network is used as a case study to test the efficiency and reliability of the two compensation methods. 相似文献
