Surface elevation is the basic data for geo-science. It is difficult to retrieve tidal-flats’ elevation from single Remote Sensing (RS) image because of the complicated sediment dynamical environment and huge spatial difference in tidal-flats’ moisture content. A Digital Elevation Model (DEM) construction method for inconstant inter-tidal zone based on high tempo-resolution MODIS data set in a short period is proposed in a case study on the Dongsha Sandbank of the Jiangsu Radial Tidal Sand-ridges. In the present study, a batch-preprocessing method based on image partition to handle massive MODIS 1B images is developed and applied to 8163 scenes of MODIS images. The dataset of short-period and multi-temporal MODIS images for inter-tidal flats’ DEM inversion is selected and the usability of MODIS dataset is analyzed. Shorelines of the Dongsha Sandbank are extracted by use of batch supervised classification. In accord with tidal-level forecasted by the Chenjiawu Tidal Gauge Station at the overpass moment of each RS image, DEMs of inter-tidal flats in January and summer(Jul, Aug and Sept), 2003 were built under ArcGIS9.2. Studies show that: (1) The dataset of short-duration and multi-phase MODIS images can be used to retrieve the historical DEM of tidal-flats at changeful tidal flats. (2) Analysis on usability of MODIS images from Aqua and Terra indicates that there are more usable and high-quality MODIS images in spring, autumn and winter, but less in summer. Therefore, the period for building inter-tidal flats’ DEM is suggested to be one month in spring, autumn and winter and three months in summer.  相似文献

提出了一个鲁棒高效的内存矢量地图叠加分析算法,采用改进的平面扫描算法计算交点,解决了重叠边、交点位于端点等所有特殊情形。利用交点及其携带的信息来构造结果环,并且将没有产生交点的输入环忽略,或者增加到结果的外环(或内环)集合中去。所有结果环都带有标识码,增加该标识码信息可以简化后续的两个过程-内外环的匹配以及属性的继承。与一一循环方法相比,本文方法对任何叠加操作可以一次计算得到所有的交点。此外还实现了叠加分析操作,并且用一组真实地理数据的不同操作与ESRI的ArcGIS的叠加分析操作进行了比较,计算结果的要素数完全一致;计算时间耗费约为ArcGIS时间耗费的50%-60%。  相似文献

Information about the Earth's surface is required in many wide-scale applications. Land cover/use classification using remotely sensed images is one of the most common applications in remote sensing, and many algorithms have been developed and applied for this purpose in the literature. Support vector machines (SVMs) are a group of supervised classification algorithms that have been recently used in the remote sensing field. The classification accuracy produced by SVMs may show variation depending on the choice of the kernel function and its parameters. In this study, SVMs were used for land cover classification of Gebze district of Turkey using Landsat ETM+ and Terra ASTER images. Polynomial and radial basis kernel functions with their estimated optimum parameters were applied for the classification of the data sets and the results were analyzed thoroughly. Results showed that SVMs, especially with the use of radial basis function kernel, outperform the maximum likelihood classifier in terms of overall and individual class accuracies. Some important findings were also obtained concerning the changes in land use/cover in the study area. This study verifies the effectiveness and robustness of SVMs in the classification of remotely sensed images.  相似文献

上海天文台时间频率研究室以原有被动型氢钟物理部分为基础,开展了脉冲微波式氢原子钟的研究。设计电路产生2个相干微波脉冲,连续激励氢原子跃迁,模拟双腔共振,使氢原子发生Ramsey干涉,压缩氢原子跃迁谱线宽度,以期提高氢原子钟短期稳定度指标。具体做法为:用DDS产生扫频电路,混频生成1.420 405 GHz激励信号后,再用CPLD产生脉冲时序控制数字衰减器,将激励信号衰减为脉冲形式,激励氢原子发生Ramsey干涉,导出微波信号并进行相关处理就可以产生Ramsey条纹。已观测到Ramsey干涉条纹,其中心峰宽度为1.2 Hz,相比传统被动型氢原子钟压缩了60%。  相似文献

Two artificial neural network models for the prediction of elastic modulus of jointed rock mass from the elastic modulus of corresponding intact rock and joint parameters have been demonstrated in this paper. The data collected from uniaxial and triaxial compression tests on different rocks with different joint configurations and different confining pressure conditions, reported in the literature are used as input for training the networks. Important joint properties like joint frequency, joint inclination and roughness of joints are considered separately for making the network more versatile. Two different techniques of artificial neural networks namely feed forward back propagation (FFBP) and radial basis function (RBF) are used to predict the elastic modulus ratio.  相似文献

In this paper, a hybrid machine learning ensemble approach namely the Rotation Forest based Radial Basis Function (RFRBF) neural network is proposed for spatial prediction of landslides in part of the Himalayan area (India). The proposed approach is an integration of the Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network classifier and Rotation Forest ensemble, which are state-of-the art machine learning algorithms for classification problems. For this purpose, a spatial database of the study area was established that consists of 930 landslide locations and fifteen influencing parameters (slope angle, road density, curvature, land use, distance to road, plan curvature, lineament density, distance to lineaments, rainfall, distance to river, profile curvature, elevation, slope aspect, river density, and soil type). Using the database, training and validation datasets were generated for constructing and validating the model. Performance of the model was assessed using the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve, area under the ROC curve (AUC), statistical analysis methods, and the Chi square test. In addition, Logistic Regression (LR), Multi-layer Perceptron Neural Networks (MLP Neural Nets), Naïve Bayes (NB), and the hybrid model of Rotation Forest and Decision Trees (RFDT) were selected for comparison. The results show that the proposed RFRBF model has the highest prediction capability in comparison to the other models (LR, MLP Neural Nets, NB, and RFDT); therefore, the proposed RFRBF model is promising and should be used as an alternative technique for landslide susceptibility modeling.  相似文献

Some species of crustose lichens, such as Ochrolechia parella (L.) Massal., exhibit concentric marginal rings, which may represent an alternative technique of measuring growth rates and potentially, a new lichenometric dating method. To examine this hypothesis, the agreement and correlation between ring widths and directly measured annual radial growth rates (RaGR, mm a−1) were studied in 24 thalli of O. parella in north Wales, UK, using digital photography and image analysis. Variation in ring width was observed at different locations around a thallus, between thalli, and from year to year. The best agreement and correlation between ring width and lichen growth rates was between mean width of the outer two rings (measured in 2011) and mean RaGR (in 2009/10). The O. parella data suggest that mean width of the youngest two growth rings, averaged over a sample of thalli, is a predictor of recent growth rates and therefore could be used in lichenometry. Potential applications include as a convenient method of comparing lichen growth rates on surfaces in different environmental settings; and as an alternative method of constructing lichen growth-rate curves, without having to revisit the same lichen thalli over many years. However, care is needed when using growth rings to estimate growth rates as: growth ring widths may not be stable; ring widths exhibit spatial and temporal variation; rings may not represent 1-year's growth in all thalli; and adjacent rings may not always represent successive year's growth.  相似文献

The excess pore pressure generated by pile installation gradually dissipates following installation, which mainly dominates the increase of pile capacity with time. The dissipation of the excess pore pressure following pile installation has been widely investigated by experimental and theoretical studies. However, in most research, the consolidation coefficients were assumed to be constant for simplification, which may lead to errors. In the present study, the dissipation of the excess pore pressure is analyzed by radial consolidation theory with a variable consolidation coefficient based on the linear responses of e − ln(p) and e − log(k). The governing equation of the radial consolidation considering variable compressibility and permeability are solved by the variable separation method. Bessel functions are used to solve the differential functions for the time independent part. The excess pore pressure immediately after pile installation is obtained from cavity expansion theory and is used as the initial condition of the consolidation process. Moreover, the influences of variable compressibility and permeability on the variation of consolidation coefficient and excess pore pressure dissipation are analyzed.  相似文献

Size at age, growth rates, seasonality of spawning, and size at maturity were described for the silver sweep Scorpis lineolatus off the coast of New South Wales, Australia. Estimates of age were made by counting annual zones in sections of otoliths. The ageing technique was validated using young‐of‐the‐year fish, staining fish with tetracy‐cline, and by marginal increment analysis. Silver sweep exhibited extreme longevity with an observed maximum age of 54 years and more than 50% of the fishery being greater than 15 years old. Growth was rapid during the first few years before reaching sexual maturity at 2–3 years and at a length of c. 17 cm fork length, after which growth slowed dramatically. Silver sweep displayed a winter spawning period. The fishery is unusual in that despite heavy fishing pressure and rapidly declining catches the age structure of the catch suggests a population that has been subjected to minimal fishing mortality. It is proposed that the large declines in commercial landings may be the result of serial depletion on local reefs and that current landings are being taken from schools of fish that have" receiveddate="little fishing pressure historically.  相似文献
