The transition from microscopic brittle deformation to microscopic plastic deformation is called brittle-plastic transition, which is considered as a key layer for determining the limit of lower continental crust seismicity. The depth and deformation mechanism of the brittle-plastic transition zone is controlled mainly by temperature. Besides, the strain rate and fluid pore pressure also affect the transition during the different deformation stages at the seismic cycle. In this paper, microstructure observation of catalcastic samples collected from the Red River Fault was carried out using optical polarized microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The morphology, microstructures of deformation characteristics, mineral composition, water-rock reaction, pressure solution, exsolution, crack healing in the samples were systematically observed. The mineral components quantitative analyses were examined using the EDS. Water-rock reaction and pressure solution were systematically observed under SEM. The fabric of the main minerals in the samples was measured using electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD). Based on these analyses, the deformation mode was setup for the brittle-plastic transition zone of the fault during the post-seismic relaxation period. Both brittle deformation and plastic deformation were developed in the cataclastic samples. EBSD data shows that the c axial fabrics of quartz present low-temperature plastic deformation characteristics. The feldspar deformed as cataclastic rock, and the micro-fracture in feldspar was healed by static recrystallized quartz and calcite veins. The calcite vein underwent plastic deformation, which represents the post-seismic relaxation deformation. Based on the analysis of deformation mechanism of cataclastic samples in brittle-plastic transition zone of the Red River Fault, and combined with previous studies, we concluded that the brittle fracture and fracture healing is the main deformation mode at brittle-plastic transition zone in the post-seismic relaxation. High stress and high strain rate at post-seismic relaxation lead to brittle fracture of high-strength minerals such as feldspar in rocks. Plastic deformation occurs in low-strength minerals such as quartz and mica. Under the fluid condition, micro-fractures were healed by quartz and calcite. The minerals such as quartz and calcite in the fracture transformed from static recrystallization to dynamic recrystallization with stress gradually accumulating. With fracture healing and stress accumulation, the fault strength gradually increases which could accumulate energy for the next earthquake.  相似文献

2004年苏门答腊地震后, 不同学者根据不同观测数据(地震波、 GPS), 得到了此次地震的断层滑动模型。 反演过程中使用半无限空间模型时, 无法利用远场观测数据进行约束, 势必影响远场形变的解释。 基于Hoechner等使用的断层几何模型和GPS同震位移数据, 本研究利用球体位错理论反演方法反演了2004年苏门答腊地震断层滑动模型, 得到的矩震级为9.24, 最大滑移量为30.4 m, 由于考虑了曲率的效应, 该模型在远场同震位移的计算结果与GPS数据吻合较好。 然后, 选取了2001—2004年和2004—2007年两期的GPS水平位移速度场, 研究2004年苏门答腊地震对华南地区地壳水平活动的影响, 从两期的GPS水平位移速度场差异可以看出地震后华南块体有向西南方向的运动趋势, 华南块体受到此次地震明显的震后影响。 最后, 基于反演得到的断层模型, 利用Tanaka等提出的粘弹性球体位错理论对华南块体两期GPS水平位移速度场差异进行模拟, 得到华南块体内部粘滞性系数为2×1019 Pa·s, 当考虑地幔粘滞性松弛效应后, 两期的速度场差异的均方根值由3.2 mm减少为1.9 mm。 可见在研究2004年前后中国大陆GPS水平位移速度场时, 若继续以华南块体为基准, 需考虑此次地震的地幔粘滞性松弛效应。  相似文献

本文利用较为完备的球体位错理论,结合4.5年的震后位移数据,优化了2011年日本MW9.0地震震源区岩石圈弹性层厚度与地幔黏滞性因子,更新了该强震断层余滑时空演化过程.首先,基于日本列岛215个均匀分布的GPS连续观测站震前2年与震后4.5年的观测数据,提取了2011年日本MW9.0地震引起的震后位移时空变化;接着,依据断层余滑衰减相对较快的特点,利用黏弹性球体位错理论对震后3~4.5年的GPS观测数据进行反复拟合,确定2011年日本MW9.0地震震源区地幔黏滞性系数和岩石圈弹性层厚度的最优解分别为6×1018 Pa·s和30 km;然后,从震后3年内GPS观测数据中剔除地幔黏滞性松弛效应,获取了断层余滑对应的震后位移场;最后,利用基于球体位错理论的反演算法,反演了2011年日本MW9.0地震断层余滑的时空演化过程.结果表明,2011年日本MW9.0地震引起的断层余滑在震后半年内变化显著,震后2年主震区域余滑基本停止,断层的两端存在一定的余滑效应,断层余滑的累计矩震级达到8.59;地震后4年,地幔黏滞性松弛效应对震后位移场的贡献在总体上超过断层余滑的贡献.  相似文献

长波长假设条件下,各向同性背景地层中发育一组平行排列的垂直裂缝可等效为具有水平对称轴的横向各向同性(HTI)介质.基于不同观测方位的岩石地震响应特征变化,宽方位地震数据不仅可实现裂缝岩石弹性参数与各向异性参数的预测,同时也蕴含着丰富的孔隙度等储层物性参数信息.本文结合实际地震资料提出了贝叶斯框架下岩石物理驱动的储层裂缝参数与物性参数概率地震联合反演方法,首先基于AVAZ反演裂缝岩石的弹性参数与各向异性参数,并在此基础上通过统计岩石物理模型表征孔隙度、裂缝密度等各向异性介质储层参数与裂缝岩石参数的相互关联,并采用马尔科夫链蒙特卡洛(MCMC)抽样方法进行大量样本的随机模拟,使用期望最大化(EM)算法估计后验条件概率分布,最终寻找最大后验条件概率对应的孔隙度、裂缝密度等HTI裂缝介质储层参数即为反演结果.测井及实际地震数据处理表明,该方法能够稳定合理地从方位地震资料中获取裂缝岩石弹性参数与各向异性参数,并提供了一种较为可靠的孔隙度、裂缝密度等裂缝介质储层参数概率地震反演方法.  相似文献

A generalized probabilistic model is developed in this study to predict sediment entrainment under the incipient motion, rolling, and pickup modes. A novelty of the proposed model is that it incorporates in its formulation the probability density function of the bed shear stress, instead of the near-bed velocity fluctuations, to account for the effects of both flow turbulence and bed surface irregularity on sediment entrainment. The proposed model incorporates in its formulation the collective effects of three para-meters describing bed surface irregularity, namely the relative roughness, the volumetric fraction and relative position of sediment particles within the active layer. Another key feature of the model is that it provides a criterion for estimating the lift and drag coefficients jointly based on the recognition that lift and drag forces acting on sediment particles are interdependent and vary with particle protrusion and packing density. The model was validated using laboratory data of both fine and coarse sediment and was compared with previously published models. The study results show that all the examined models perform adequately for the fine sediment data, where the sediment particles have more uniform gra-dation and relative roughness is not a factor. The proposed model was particularly suited for the coarse sediment data, where the increased bed irregularity was captured by the new parameters introduced in the model formulation. As a result, the proposed model yielded smaller prediction errors and physically acceptable values for the lift coefficient compared to the other models in case of the coarse sediment data.  相似文献

采用2008年汶川M_W7.9地震震后7a的GPS连续站和流动站的长期观测资料,基于粘弹性松弛模型,利用PSGRN/PSCMP程序计算汶川震后形变,反演巴颜喀拉块体下的粘弹性参数。其中分层模型考虑巴颜喀拉块体下存在低速带,最优拟合的粘弹性松弛模型显示该低速带粘弹性参数为2.51×1018 Pa·s,而中下地壳粘弹性参数为3.98×1018 Pa·s。  相似文献

Slender marine structures such as mooring lines and risers are susceptible to failures due to stress variations coming from environmental actions. Wave, wind and current are random phenomena, and consequently the most adequate methodology to estimate the fatigue damage accumulation on these structures is the probabilistic fatigue analysis. In practice, the estimation of fatigue life requires the numerical simulation of a huge number of loading cases to compute the multi-dimensional integral of the total fatigue damage.This paper presents an efficient approach to compute the long-term fatigue damage of marine structures. The proposed method needs only a few number of numerical simulations to estimate the structure fatigue life. It uses a parametric interpolation procedure to evaluate the fatigue damage for any individual short-term condition (sea state) required in the calculation of the multi-dimensional integral. In this way, the total number of short-term structural analyzes is considerably reduced.The effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method is compared to the full direct integration by means of two comprehensive examples. The first studied case is an idealized theoretical model of a single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) system under wave loading, and the second one is a Steel Catenary Riser (SCR) connected to a FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading floating unit).  相似文献

地下开采导致的地表残余倾斜对采空区公路路基的稳定性有重要影响。针对采空区公路路基的稳定性评价,笔者提出了基于概率积分法和Knothe时间函数的地表残余倾斜的计算方法,分析了路基稳定性的条分法计算原理及残余倾斜对路基稳定性的影响机理,推导了基于解析法的路基最不利滑动面计算公式,使用C#语言编制了路基稳定性系数计算软件,并通过工程实例,对提出的方法和软件进行了验证,分析了地表残余倾斜、路基边坡坡率对路基稳定性的影响。  相似文献

温度是影响核磁共振弛豫的一个因素。目前国内各实验室所做的核磁共振实验测量大都局限在室温下,实验温度与地下储集层温度有很大差别,因此有必要研究温度对流体及饱和流体岩石的核磁共振弛豫的影响,提高核磁共振测井资料评价精度。本文选取自由水、不同粘度脱气原油、饱和水以及饱和变压器油的储层贝瑞砂岩和储层碳酸盐岩样品进行核磁共振变温实验,测量温度从25℃变化到90℃。结果表明:自由水和原油的核磁共振横向弛豫时间(T2)都随温度的升高而增大。温度对饱和水贝瑞砂岩和碳酸盐岩核磁共振弛豫的影响不同,饱和水贝瑞砂岩核磁共振横向弛豫时间随温度升高而减小,而饱和水碳酸盐岩横向弛豫时间随温度升高而增大。无论是饱和油的贝瑞砂岩或是饱和油的碳酸盐岩,其核磁共振横向弛豫时间都随温度升高而增大。温度对核磁共振弛豫的影响,会造成室温下得到的横向弛豫时间截止值(T2cutoff)与储层温度下的实际值有偏差,影响储层束缚水饱和度和渗透率的计算结果,建议在核磁共振测井资料解释及应用时应考虑温度的影响。  相似文献
