Traditionally, propeller design has been focused on all activities necessary to obtain a propeller featuring a high efficiency, avoiding erosive cavitation for given operating conditions and having adequate structural strength. In recent years, more and more challenging requirements have been imposed, such as the reduction of radiated noise and pressures pulses, requiring more precise analyses and methods in the optimization of the propeller performance. On the other hand, the evaluation of the propeller strength still relies on simplified methods, which basically consider the blade as a cantilever beam subjected to characteristic static forces. Since the loads acting on a blade are variable in the blade revolution and in different operating conditions throughout the ship life, a procedure to account for the influence of fatigue phenomena is proposed. The fatigue assessment could reduce the safety factor in the propeller scantling rules and allow improving the quality of propeller design (e.g. obtaining higher efficiency, margin on cavitation phenomena, less noise).  相似文献

One of the most important aspects, in the ACS and multi stepped hull design, is the choice of the geometrical shape of the cavity and the steps. In this article a complete experimental and numerical campaign on a multi stepped ACS has been carried out, varying the velocity and the air flow rate under the hull. The experimental tests have been conducted in an ITTC Towing Tank allowing to validate the numerical simulations obtained by means of a CFD U-RANSe (Unesteady Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations) code. The CFD setup is described in detail. From this campaign a critical analysis of the Froude number influence on the air cushion shape has been argued. The authors identified four different behaviours, from low to very high Froude numbers. The use of CFD has allowed to observe quantities of difficult evaluation by means of traditional experimental test, as e.g. the frictional component of the resistance, the airflow path lines and the volume of fraction in transversal and longitudinal sections. 本文系统阐述了《军官地图集》电子版的设计和研制中的若干问题,包括《军官地图集》电子版的总体设计、数据库设计、自动分幅设计以及专题图设计等。总体设计主要包括系统的结构设计、地理数据库设计、各功能模块设计等几部分。在地图集系统中,多比例尺海量地理数据的应用必然要求有强大的数据库支持,系统中采用了易于存储、便于管理的数据结构,并对数据库的各类数据描述表进行了详细说明。自动分幅设计是电子地图集的一个新功能,本文提出了电子地图集的分幅方式:经纬线分幅、矩形分幅、名称分幅和区域分幅,并阐述了它们各自的优缺点。《军官地图集》电子版中的专题地图在设计上突出了图集的系统性和军事特色,本文提出了该电子版中专题地图设计的原则和方法。根据该电子版的设计和制作过程,同时提出了电子地图集制作的步骤,并阐明了电子地图集设计中的不足和发展方向。  相似文献

Major developments in geotechnical earthquake engineering practice over the last 15 years are reviewed. The objectives of the review are to present a coherent view of the current state of practice at the highest level and to examine trends, which may shape practice in the future. 边坡工程中的土-岩复合边坡是一种典型的边坡类型,其主要特点是土岩分界面常常成为边坡的潜在滑动面。本文以典型土-岩复合边坡抗滑桩工程为背景,对传统的传递系数法计算边坡下滑推力进行了改进,桩前土体抗力采用弹性抗力计算,并引入双参数法,建立了抗滑桩内力挠曲微分方程,探讨了不同类型的抗滑桩(刚性桩、弹性桩)位移和内力计算方法,为有效地解决土-岩复合边坡抗滑桩内力计算问题提供了新途径。据此采用VC编制了面向对象、集设计、分析计算以及绘图于一体的计算机辅助设计系统,显著提高了计算速度和计算精度,实现了抗滑桩的优化设计,并成功地应用于典型土-岩复合边坡工程,对类似工程实践具有参考价值。  相似文献

Earthquake codes have been revised and updated depending on the improvements in the representation of ground motions, soils and structures. These revisions have been more frequently seen in recent years. One of the key changes in earthquake codes has been performed on the design spectra. In this paper, the design spectra recommended by Turkish Earthquake Code and three other well known codes (Uniform Building Code, Eurocode 8, and International Building Code) are considered for comparison. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the differences caused by the use of different codes in the dynamic analysis and seismic verification of given types of buildings located at code defined different sites. The differences in expressions and some important points for elastic and inelastic spectra defined by the codes are briefly illustrated in tables and figures. Periods, base shears, lateral displacements and interstory drifts for the analyzed buildings located at code defined ground type are comparatively presented.  相似文献

Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, is located at the confluence of White and Blue Niles. The city is heavily populated. Central Khartoum with its high-rise buildings is the center of governmental and business activities and is located on a strip adjacent to the Blue Nile. Geological and geotechnical data indicate that the subsoil conditions at Central Khartoum are characterized by alluvial deposits underlain by Nubian Sandstone at a depth of 25 m. The alluvial deposits, locally known as Gezira formations, consist of clays grading into silt and sand with depth. Macro seismic zonation of Sudan and its vicinities, developed by the authors, gave the ground acceleration at the bedrock surface. The effect of alluvial deposits in Central Khartoum on propagation of seismic motion parameters to the ground surface is investigated in this study. Correlations are proposed for pertinent cyclic soil properties such as shear modulus, damping, and shear wave velocity. The Equivalent-Linear Earthquake Response Analyses (EERA) Model was used to study the effect of local soil conditions on ground-motion parameters. In the absence of strong-motion records in Khartoum, available worldwide strong-motion records are used. Plots showing the time histories of ground motion parameters at the ground surface are obtained. The results indicate amplification of ground motion of up to 4.93. The predicted fundamental period of soils is about 0.5 s which is typical for these types of soils. The maximum spectral acceleration varied from 0.76 to 0.95 g. For design purposes, a response spectrum curve is proposed.  相似文献
