通过对0mm、50mm、100mm和150mm灌水量处理下的4种植物生长状况观测,50mm处理的地上和地下生物量都明显高于其它三个处理;灌溉对植物生长的影响主要是通过提高土壤含水量来实现的;五星蒿与鸡眼草一样,在适宜的土壤温度时,其生长速率大小与土壤湿度的关系较密切,虫实和猪毛菜的快速生长期都在前期,后期的灌水对他们生物量的形成没有什么作用。  相似文献

We investigated the variation of the North Pacific Intermediate Water (NPIW) distribution in the western North Pacific, focusing on the intermediate salinity minimum (S < 34.2) core observed along the meridional hydrographic sections including the 137°E repeat section by the Japan Meteorological Agency. This core is a cross-section of a low salinity tongue extending westward along the recirculation in the subtropical gyre. The core size shows remarkable variabilities in interannual and decadal time scales. The salinity change in the density layer during the period of core expansion (shrinking) represents the spatial salinity change in the tongue toward the west (east). Thus, we conclude that the core size variation is associated with the zonal wobble of the tongue having thicker distribution to the east, rather than temporal changes of the water mass itself. The core size at 137°E is well correlated with the meridional gradient of the depth in the isopycnal surface at the salinity minimum representing the recirculation intensity, suggesting a relation with the intensity of the subtropical gyre. A significant lag-correlation between the gradient and the wind forcing over the North Pacific suggests that the first mode baroclinic Rossby waves excited in the central North Pacific propagated westward to change the intensity of the recirculation in interannual time scales. In decadal time scales, it is found that the wind stress curl and heat flux fields in the North Pacific precede the recirculation by about 11 years.  相似文献

The short-range (one month) variability of the Kuroshio path was predicted in 84 experiments (90-day predictions) using a model in an operational data assimilation system based on data from 1993 to 1999. The predictions started from an initial condition or members of a set of initial conditions, obtained in a reanalysis experiment. The predictions represent the transition from straight to meander of the Kuroshio path, and the results have been analyzed according to previously proposed mechanisms of the transition with eddy propagation and interaction acting as a trigger of the meander and self-sustained oscillation. The reanalysis shows that the meander evolves due to eddy activity. Simulation (no assimilation) shows no meander state, even with the same atmospheric forcing as the prediction. It is suggested therefore that the initial condition contains information on the meander and the system can represent the evolution. Mean (standard deviation) values of the axis error for all 84 cases are 13, 17, and 20 (10, 10, and 12) km, in 138.5°E, in the 30-, 60-, and 90-day predictions respectively. The observed mean deviation from seasonal variation is 30 km. The predictive limit of the system is thus about 80 days. The time scale of the limit depends on which stage in the transition is adopted as the initial condition. The gradual decrease of the amplitude in a stage from meander to straight paths is also predicted. The predictive limit is about 20 days, which is shorter than the prediction of the opposite transition. Large-eddy simulation (LES) is used to investigate the effects of building-height variability on turbulent flows over an actual urban area, the city of Kyoto, which is reproduced using a 2-m resolution digital surface dataset. Comparison of the morphological characteristics of Kyoto with those of European, North American, and other Japanese cities indicates a similarity to European cities but with more variable building heights. The performance of the LES model is validated and found to be consistent with turbulence observations obtained from a meteorological tower and from Doppler lidar. We conducted the following two numerical experiments: a control experiment using Kyoto buildings, and a sensitivity experiment in which all the building heights are set to the average height over the computational region \(h_{all}\). The difference of Reynolds stress at height \(z=2.5h_{all}\) between the control and sensitivity experiments is found to increase with the increase in the plan-area index (\(\lambda _p\)) for \(\lambda _p > 0.32\). Thus, values of \(\lambda _p\approx 0.3\) can be regarded as a threshold for distinguishing the effects of building-height variability. The quadrant analysis reveals that sweeps contribute to the increase in the Reynolds stress in the control experiment at a height \(z= 2.5h_{all}\). The exuberance in the control experiment at height \(z=0.5h_{all}\) is found to decrease with increase in the building-height variability. Although the extreme momentum flux at height \(z=2.5h_{all}\) in the control experiment appears around buildings, it contributes little to the total Reynolds stress and is not associated with coherent motions.  相似文献

Disturbances to forest catchments have profound effects on the environment of headwater streams and have an impact on suspended sediment (SS) management. Forest harvesting is a dominant factor in increasing SS yields. Road construction, skidder activity and ploughing associated with harvesting cause serious soil disturbance that results in SS increases. However, few studies have shown whether harvesting itself increases SS yields. This study examined how harvesting influenced SS yields in a steep forested area. During harvesting, soil surface disturbance was prevented as much as possible by using skyline logging treatments and piling branches and leaves at selected locations in the watershed. Using these methods, the representative SS rating curve did not change significantly after harvesting. The results also show that the characteristics of SS transport were related to the SS source area, and reveal that the riparian zone/stream bank was a dominant SS source area at the study site. Annual SS yields did not increase despite increasing annual water yields after harvesting. The limited water capacity of the soil at the study site likely led to only slight differences in pre‐ and post‐harvest water discharge from heavy rainfall events. Most SS was transported during heavy rainfall events, and increases in SS yields were not detected after harvesting. We concluded that it is possible to prevent post‐harvest SS increases by performing careful, low‐impact harvesting procedures. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In the standard Friedmann cosmology the black-body radiation spectrum is usually taken (without explicit proof as far as we know) to have the same familiarT 4-form that it has in a flat space. With explicit use of the equation of motion of a quantized massless field propagating in a curved background Robertson-Walker metric we show (for the readily tractable scalar field case) that the assumption is in fact true for an open Universe. For a closed Universe, we find that there is an in principle modification to theT 4-law. Unfortunately, the correction turns out to be too small to be experimentally detectable. In passing, we also obtain a simple derivation for the cosmological red shift of frequencies.  相似文献

Since the 8th century, more than seventeen eruptions have been recorded for the Mt. Fuji volcano, with the most recent eruption occurring in 1707 (Hoei eruption). For the past 300 years the volcano has been in a quiescent stage and, since the early 1960s, has exhibited neither fumarolic nor thermal activity. However, the number of low-frequency earthquakes with a hypocentral depth of 10–20 km increased significantly beneath the northeastern flank of Mt. Fuji in 2000–2001, suggesting a possible resumption of magmatic activity. In this study, diffuse CO2 efflux and thermal surveys were carried out in four areas of the volcano in 2001–2002 in order to detect possible signs of the upward movement of deep magma. At all survey points, the CO2 efflux was below the detection limit with the exception of a few points with biological CO2 emission, and ground temperatures at a depth of 20–30 cm were below ambient, indicating no surface manifestations of gas or heat emission. Should magma rise into the subsurface, the diffuse CO2 efflux would be expected to increase, particularly along the tectonically weakened lineation on the Mt. Fuji volcano, allowing for the early detection of pre-eruptive degassing.  相似文献
