As an appropriate type of foundation for offshore wind turbines (OWTs), wide-shallow composite bucket foundation (WSCBF) is cost-competitive, and it has a unique and special substructure that comprises seven internal rooms arranged in a honeycomb-like structure. In this study, the cyclic behavior of WSCBF for OWTs embedded in saturated clay was investigated using a large-scale model subjected to lateral cyclic loading. The responses of foundation under constant- and various-amplitude cyclic loadings were recorded in terms of displacements, rotations, and bending moments. The variations in stiffness and damping were obtained, and a collaborative bearing mechanical model between the bucket and soil was considered, which was beneficial for improving the stiffness of the whole structure. Accumulative deformation was found to have little effect on the bearing capacity of the foundation. Dynamic analysis in frequency domain was further performed on both moment and rotation data, and the complex, frequency-dependent impedance was also studied.  相似文献

Speckle noise in synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) images severely hinders remote sensing applications; therefore, the appropriate removal of speckle noise is crucial. This paper elaborates on the multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural-network model for SAR image despeckling by using a time series of SAR images. Unlike other filtering methods that use only a single radar intensity image to derive their parameters and filter that single image, this method can be trained using archived images over an area of interest to self-learn the intensity characteristics of image patches and then adaptively determine the weights and thresholds by using a neural network for image despeckling. Several hidden layers are designed for feedforward network training, and back-propagation stochastic gradient descent is adopted to reduce the error between the target output and neural-network output. The parameters in the network are automatically updated in the training process. The greatest advantage of MLP is that once the despeckling parameters are determined, they can be used to process not only new images in the same area but also images in completely different locations. Tests with images from TerraSAR-X in selected areas indicated that MLP shows satisfactory performance with respect to noise reduction and edge preservation. The overall image quality obtained using MLP was markedly higher than that obtained using numerous other filters. In comparison with other recently developed filters, this method yields a slightly higher image quality, and it demonstrates the powerful capabilities of computer learning using SAR images, which indicate the promising prospect of applying MLP to SAR image despeckling.  相似文献

In 2018, the International Conference for the Decade Memory of the Wenchuan Earthquake in connection to the 4th International Conference on Continental Earthquakes (4th ICCE) and the 12th Assembly of Asian Seismological Commission (ASC) officially announced the establishment of China Seismic Experimental Site (CSES) in the Sichuan-Yunnan region. CSES focuses on the field experiments on a broad spectra of scientific problems in earthquake science, from the tectonics and physics of earthquakes and faulting to the engineering countermeasures for disaster risk reduction. In spring of 2021, approved by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, CSES as a key state scientific infrastructure was enlisted in the 14th national five-year plan (2021–2025) of economic and social development and the long-term vision of 2035, which is considered as a major step for promoting earthquake science in China. Since 2018, the planning, construction and functioning of CSES have attracted much attention in earthquake science (CSES, 2020a, b, c; Wu ZL et al., 2021a, b, c, d). This special issue of Earthquake Science, similar to other publications (e.g., Li YG et al., 2021), reflects a profile of the on-going works of CSES, by CSES, and for CSES. Totally 8 articles are included in the present issue, covering some aspects of research scopes of CSES.  相似文献

全国重要矿产资源评价涉及25种重要矿产的近百种矿床类型,需要在1∶20万尺度水平圈定成矿预测远景区,并科学估算各远景区资源量,为国家矿产资源战略勘查和战略部署提供技术支撑。为了保证预测成果在同一层面上进行全国汇总,制定了全国一致的、标准的技术要求和方法。通过对中国以往一轮、二轮区划预测方法、全国矿产资源总量预测方法及国外最新预测方法的分析和总结,结合近年来预测理论的新发展,确定了全国重要矿产总量预测的理论基础是成矿系列理论、现代成矿动力学理论和综合信息矿产预测理论,采用的预测思路是矿床模型综合地质信息预测方法。文章陈述了总量预测的方法流程和预测技术要求,有关方法思路可供资源评价人员参考。  相似文献

汇聚板块边缘岩浆中金属和氯的地球化学性质研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
总结了铜(Cu)、金(Au)、铼(Re)和氯(Cl)在汇聚板块边缘岩浆中的性质。在岛弧型的火山岩岩浆演化的早期,Cu、Au和Re均表现为中度不相容元素,含量随SiO2含量的增加而增加。在SiO2质量分数为58%时,多数岛弧型火山岩中Au、Cu的含量会突然大幅度下降。这一变化与铁和钛的变化是耦合的,铁和钛均由不相容元素变为相容元素,显示钛磁铁矿开始结晶了。进一步的研究表明,钛磁铁矿的结晶使硫酸根被还原为氢硫酸根,后者与Au、Cu形成氢硫酸根络合物,被萃取到流体相中,从而形成成矿流体。这一过程可以很好地解释Au、Cu矿床广泛分布于汇聚板块边缘的现象。与Au、Cu相反,Re的含量在SiO2质量分数为60%时才开始下降,而且是缓慢下降。这是因为Re通常比Au、Cu更亲石。此外,Re还具有强烈的挥发性。氯在东Manus岩浆中表现为高度不相容的特点。氯的性质主要受压力、初始水含量和岩浆演化分异程度的控制。计算结果显示,由于MORB和OIB含水量低,分异演化程度低,氯在上述岩浆中表现为高度不相容的特点。相比之下,氯在岛弧岩浆中的性质就复杂得多。随着水含量和岩浆房深度的不同,氯的性质可以从相容变到高度不相容。  相似文献

Properties and stability of a meso-scale line-form disturbance   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
By using the 3D dynamic equations for small- and meso-scale disturbances, an investigation is performed on the heterotropic instability (including symmetric instability and traversal-type instability) of a zonal line-like disturbance moving at any angle with respect to basic flow, arriving at the following results: (1) with linear shear available, the heterotropic instability of the disturbance will occur only when flow shearing happens in the direction of the line-like disturbance movement or in the direction perpendicular to the disturbance movement, with the heterotropic instability showing the instability of the internal inertial gravity wave; (2) in the presence of second-order non-linear shear, the disturbance of the heterotropic instability includes internal inertial gravity and vortex Rossby waves. For the zonal line-form disturbance under study, the vortex Rossby wave has its source in the second-order shear of meridional basic wind speed in the flow and propagates unidirectionally with respect to the meridional basic flow. As a mesoscale heterotropic instable disturbance, the vortex Rossby wave has its origin from the second shear of the flow in the direction perpendicular to the line-form disturbance and is independent of the condition in the direction parallel to the flow; (3) for general zonal line-like disturbances, if the second-order shear happens in the meridional wind speed, i.e., the second shear of the flow in the direction perpendicular to the line-form disturbance, then the heterotropic instability of the disturbance is likely to be the instability of a mixed Rossby–internal inertial gravity wave; (4) the symmetric instability is actually the instability of the internal inertial gravity wave. The second-order shear in the flow represents an instable factor for a symmetric-type disturbance; (5) the instability of a traversal-type disturbance is the instability of the internal inertial gravity wave when the basic flow is constant or only linearly sheared. With a second or nonlinear vertical shear of the basic flow taken into account, the instability of a traversal-type disturbance may be the instability of a mixed vortex Rossby – gravity wave.  相似文献
