Coalbed methane has been explored in many basins worldwide for 30 years, and has been developed commercially in some of the basins. Many researchers have described the characteristics of coalbed methane geology and technology systematically. According to these investigations, a coalbed methane reservoir can be defined: "a coal seam that contains some coalbed methane and is isolated from other fluid units is called a coalbed methane reservoir". On the basis of anatomization, analysis, and comparison of the typical coalbed methane reservoirs, coalbed methane reservoirs can be divided into two classes: the hydrodynamic sealing coalbed methane reservoirs and the self-sealing coalbed methane reservoirs. Abstract: The Balfour Formation has a pronounced lithological variation that is characterized by alternating sandstone- and mudstone-dominated members. The sandstone-dominated Oudeberg and Barberskrans Members are composed of lithofacies that range from intraformational conglomerates to fine-grained sediments, whereas the mudstone-dominated members (Daggaboersnek, Elandsberg, and Palingkloof) are dominated by the facies Fm and Fl. Petrography, geochemistry, and a paleocurrent analysis indicated that the source rock of the Balfour Formation was to south east and the rocks had a transitional/dissected magmatic arc signature. The sandstones-rich members were deposited by seasonal and ephemeral high-energy, low-sinuous streams, and the fine-grained-rich members were formed by ephemeral meandering streams. The paleoclimates have been equated to present temperate climates; they were semiarid becoming arid towards the top of the Balfour Formation. This has been determined by reconstructing the paleolatitude of the Karoo Basin, geochemistry, paleontology, sedimentary structures, and other rock properties, like color. 相似文献

From July 1996 to August 1997 the TOR project operated 130 seismographs in North Germany, Denmark and South Sweden, with the aim of collecting signals from local, regional and teleseismic earthquakes. This data set is particularly interesting since the seismic antenna crosses the most significant geological boundary in Europe, the Tornquist Zone, which in the northern part is the border between the Baltic Shield and the younger European lithosphere. Previous studies have shown significant physical changes in the crust and upper mantle across this transition zone, including two independent teleseismic tomographic studies of the TOR data set. But these two studies disagree on the orientation of the slope of the transition. Both studies used an iterative linearized inversion method. We will in this work Preprint submitted to Elsevier Science 27 July 2005 present an inversion based on Bayesian statistics, where the solution space is examined in order to study a very large number of tomographic solutions and to examine the solution uniqueness and uncertainty. The method is applied to measurements of 3345 relative teleseismic P-phase travel times from 48 teleseismic earthquakes with good azimuthal coverage with respect to the great circle arc of the TOR array. 云南兰坪-思茅盆地脉状铜矿床铅、硫同位素地球化学与成矿物质来源研究 总被引:13,自引:5,他引:13
云南兰坪-思茅盆地中一新生代砂页岩中赋存有许多脉状铜矿床。本文对盆地内从北至南三个典型脉状铜矿床(金满、水泄和白龙厂)进行了详细的铅、硫同位素研究,探讨了该类型矿床的成矿物质来源。分析表明。该类型矿床的铅同位素组成总体变化较小,且均位于上地壳铅演化线附近,说明成矿流体中铅具有稳定的上地壳来源。各矿床由于赋矿层位不同,矿石铅同位素组成表现出一定差异,如由兰坪盆地侏罗纪地层中的金满矿床到思茅盆地二叠纪地层中的白龙厂矿床,铅同位素比值(^207Pb/^204Pb)呈增高趋势,这表明这类矿床的铅主要来源于围岩地层,且地层越老,提供的铅就相对富含放射成因铅。矿床中脉石矿物重晶石、铁白云石等的锶同位素组成也表明,金满矿床成矿流体的^87Sr/^86Sr比值较高(0.70874—0.71232),而白龙厂矿床的^87Sr/^86Sr比值较低(0.70829—0.70938),接近于围岩灰岩的值(0.70755)。硫同位素研究表明,金满矿床中硫化物的δ^34S值变化最大,为-20.5‰- 7.0‰。水泄矿床中硫化物的δ^34S值变化最小,为-0.1‰- 4.2‰。而白龙厂矿床中硫化物的δ^34S值为-14.3‰--3.6‰。水泄和白龙厂矿床中重晶石的δ^34S值分别为 12.3‰- 19.0‰和 13.1‰,它们与盆地中蒸发岩层中石膏的δ^34S值( 10.8‰- 15.7‰)相近。分析表明,兰坪-思茅盆地中脉状铜矿的硫源主要来源于盆地热卤水萃取的地层中蒸发岩硫酸盐,它们通过有机质的热分解反应还原为沉淀硫化物所必需的低价硫。各矿床独特的硫同位素组成还表明它们的硫源受局部地层硫源和成矿流体物理化学性质所控制。本文提出大气降水起源的盆地热卤水通过对围岩中新生代地层的淋滤和萃取,获得了成矿所需的金属和硫,并在构造薄弱部位沉淀形成了本区的脉状铜矿床。 相似文献

塔里木盆地塔中32井的中、上奥陶统钻遇厚度为1 462 m。它是一套巨厚的深灰色泥岩、页岩与灰色砂岩、粉砂岩互层夹少量灰岩的地层。其中深灰色泥岩、页岩最多;砂岩和粉砂岩主要分布于上部和下部,中部砂岩和粉砂岩较少;鲕粒灰岩数量少,主要夹于深灰色泥页岩中。这些砂岩和鲕粒灰岩既可单独成层,但更常见它们与深灰色泥页岩组合成薄互层。薄互层中发育脉状、波状和透镜状层理,并普遍发育交错层理和双向交错纹理。这些特征表明砂岩和鲕粒灰岩为深水斜坡上的内潮汐沉积的产物。这些内潮汐沉积进一步划分为4种类型:双向交错纹理细砂岩型、单向交错层和双向交错纹理中-细砂岩型、韵律性砂泥岩薄互层型和鲕粒灰岩型。它们具有5种垂向沉积层序,在剖面上常形成多旋回韵律性沉积组合。 相似文献

Coeval stratigraphic units of similar petrology occur throughout the northern Bahamas islands. The petrographic composition of these limestones provides clues about regional sea level and climate changes during the late Quaternary. At least eight fossil shoreline units, which are linked to transgressive episodes between the middle Pleistocene and the late Holocene, are recognized in the Bahamas. The petrographic composition of these units is either dominated by ooids and peloids or by bioclasts. Sedimentological observations demonstrate that oolitic-peloidal units were formed when sea level was higher than today, whereas skeletal units were deposited at or below modern ordnance datum. Skeletal units may reflect times of partial, or modest platform flooding, when the bulk of sediments brought to islands originates from bank-margin reefs. In contrast, oolitic-peloidal units correspond to major flooding events and active water circulation on the bank top. Cement fabrics further show that the early diagenesis of oolitic units took place during warm and humid climatic conditions, whereas skeletal rock bodies underwent subaerial diagenesis during drier climatic conditions characterized by marked seasonal changes. This example from the Bahamas suggests that compositional analysis of limestone from fossil carbonate platforms could be used for resolving ancient climate and sea-level changes. 相似文献

F-K反偏移法正演模拟是在给定地质模型后通过构建人工偏移场,再对人工偏移场进行F-K反偏移来实现。人工偏移场的构建是在地质模型上直接放上经正确拉伸和幅度校正后的地震脉冲子波。F-K反偏移中插值映射采用两点sinc插值,其能避免假同相轴的出现且具有较快的速度。奇异点处理使用泰勒近似展开。最后对凹陷模型进行了F-K反偏移法正演模拟实现,得到了预期的效果。 相似文献
