We study some simple periodic orbits and their bifurcations in the Hamiltonian BF00692876_TeX2GIFIE1.gif" alt=" $$H = \tfrac{1}{2}(\dot x^2 + \dot y^2 + \dot z^2 + Ax^2 + By^2 + Cz^2 ) - \varepsilon xz^2 - \eta yz^2 $$ " align="middle" border="0"> . We give the forms of the orbits, the characteristics of the main families, and some existence diagrams and stability diagrams. The existence diagram of the family 1a contains regions that are stable (S), simply unstable (U), doubly unstable (DU) and complex unstable (BASELINE" BORDER="0">). In the regionsS andU there are lines of equal rotation numberm/n. Along these lines we have bifurcations of families of periodic orbits of multiplicityn. When these lines reach the boundary of the complex unstable region, they are tangent to it. Inside the region BASELINE" BORDER="0"> there are linesm/n, along which the orbits 1a, describedn-times, are doubly unstable; however, along these lines there are no bifurcations ofn-ple periodic orbits. The families bifurcating from 1a exist only in certain regions of the parameter space (BASELINE" BORDER="0">, BORDER="0">). The limiting lines of these regions join at particular points representing collisions of bifurcations. These collisions of bifurcations produce a nonuniqueness of the various families of periodic orbits. The complicated structure of the various bifurcations can be understood by constructing appropriate stability diagrams.  相似文献

Abstract— Neodymium, strontium, and chromium isotopic studies of the LEW86010 angrite established its absolute age and the formation interval between its crystallization and condensation of Allende CAIs from the solar nebula. Pyroxene and phosphate were found to contain ~98% of its Sm and Nd inventory. A conventional 147Sm-143Nd isochron yielded an age of 4.53 ± 0.04 Ga (2 σ) and ?143 Nd = 0.45 ± 1.1. An 146Sm-142Nd isochron gives initial 146Sm/144Sm = 0.0076 ± 0.0009 and ?143 Nd = ?2.5 ± 0.4. The Rb-Sr analyses give initial 87Sr/86Sr (I87Sr) = 0.698972 ± 8 and 0.698970 ± 18 for LEW and ADOR, respectively, relative to 87Sr/86Sr = 0.71025 for NBS987. The difference, ΔI87Sr, between I87Sr for the angrites and literature values for Allende CAIs, corresponds to ~9 Ma of growth in a solar nebula with a CI chondrite value of 87Rb/86Sr = 0.91, or ~5 Ma in a nebula with solar photospheric 87Rb/86Sr = 1.51. Excess 53Cr from extinct 53Mn (t1/2 = 3.7 Ma) in LEW86010 corresponds to initial 53Mn/55Mn = 1.44 ± 0.07 × 10?6 and closure to Cr isotopic homogenization 18.2 ± 1.7 Ma after formation of Allende inclusions, assuming initial 53Mn/55Mn = 4.4 ± 1.0 × 10?5 for the inclusions as previously reported by the Paris group (Birck and Allegre, 1988). The 146Sm/144Sm value found for LEW86010 corresponds to solar system initial (146Sm/144Sm)o = 0.0080 ± 0.0009 for crystallization 8 Ma after Allende, the difference between Pb-Pb ages of angrites and Allende, or 0.0086 ± 0.0009 for crystallization 18 Ma after Allende, using the Mn-Cr formation interval. The isotopic data are discussed in the context of a model in which an undifferentiated “chondritic” parent body formed from the solar nebula ~2 Ma after Allende CAIs and subsequently underwent differentiation accompanied by loss of volatiles. Parent bodies with Rb/Sr similar to that of CI, CM, or CO chondrites could satisfy the Cr and Sr isotopic systematics. If the angrite parent body had Rb/Sr similar to that of CV meteorites, it would have to form slightly later, ~2.6 Ma after the CAIs, to satisfy the Sr and Cr isotopic systematics.  相似文献

Solar radio and microwave sources were observed with the Very Large Array (VLA) and the RATAN-600, providing high spatial resolution at 91 cm (VLA) and detailed spectral and polarization data at microwave wavelengths (1.7 to 20 cm - RATAN). The radio observations have been compared with images from the Soft X-ray Telescope (SXT) aboard theYohkoh satellite and with full-disk phoptospheric magnetic field data from the Kislovodsk Station of the Pulkovo Observatory. The VLA observations at 91 cm show fluctuating nonthermal noise storm sources in the middle corona. The active regions that were responsible for the noise storms generally had weaker microwave emission, fainter thermal soft X-ray emission, as well as less intense coronal magnetic fields than those associated with other active regions on the solar disk. The noise storms did, however, originate in active regions whose magnetic fields and radiation properties were evolving on timescales of days or less. We interpret these noise storms in terms of accelerated particles trapped in radiation belts above or near active regions, forming a decimetric coronal halo. The particles trapped in the radiation belts may be the source of other forms of nonthermal radio emission, while also providing a reservoir from which energetic particles may drain down into lower-lying magnetic structures.Presented at the CESRA-Workshop on BASELINE" BORDER="0">Coronal Magnetic Energy ReleaseBASELINE" BORDER="0"> at Caputh near Potsdam in May 1994.  相似文献

We have examined forty-two carbon stars which show excess emission at 60 and/or 100µm by applying maximum-entropy image reconstruction techniques to the IRAS 60µm survey data. Thirteen stars are found to be extended in the reconstructed images. Four of them show a detached ring centered on the stellar position. In particular, U Ant may have a double detached dust shell. The implications of our results are discussed concerning the variation of mass loss on the AGB evolution.  相似文献

We present 50 and 100µm photometry and size information for several main sequence stars surrounded by dust shells. The observations from NASA's Kuiper Airborne Observatory include the BORDER="0">Vega-likeBORDER="0"> stars, Beta Pic, Fomalhaut, as well as four stars suggested by Walker and Wolstencroft to belong possibly to the same class. The results of our observations are best interpreted as upper limits to the far-infrared sizes of the dust clouds around all of the stars except Fomalhaut and Beta Pic. We have also fit simple, optically thin models to the Beta Pic data to explore the range of shell parameters consistent with our limits and with previous observations.  相似文献

Zaitsev and Stepanov (1991, 1992) proposed a mechanism for energy release in solar flares that involves the intrusion of dense prominence material into a coronal loop. The resulting non-steady state conditions are claimed to increase the resistance of the loop by 8–10 orders of magnitude. It is shown here that the dramatic increase in resistance calculated by Zaitsev and Stepanov depends on a gross overestimate of the of the magnitude of the magnetic force in the loop prior to the flare trigger. A more realistic estimate of the increase due to the mechanism suggests that it is by no more than about four orders of magnitude. As a consequence, the BASELINE" BORDER="0">prominence-loadingBASELINE" BORDER="0"> mechanism does not provide a tenable flare model.  相似文献

It is shown that a gas of massive bosonic particles (m BF00627284_TeX2GIFIE1.gif" alt=" $$(m\hat \simeq 60 {\text{eV)}}$$ " align="middle" border="0"> 60 eV), e.g. Higgs particles, surrounding disk galaxies is able to generate the flat rotation curves of spiral galaxies without internal difficulties with physical principles. We examined solar energetic proton (SEP) events associated with intense HBASELINE" BORDER="0"> flares. We located these flares on the solar disk and obtained their distribution in heliographic longitude as well as their angular distance distribution with respect to the neutral lines corresponding to the heliospheric current sheet at 2.5RBORDER="0">. We found that the SEP-associated HBASELINE" BORDER="0"> flares tend to occur in active regions at the feet of those helmet streamers which form the heliomagnetic equator and are related to coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and CME shocks. We discuss the possible role of flares, CMEs and CME shocks in generating SEPs.  相似文献

A small air shower array operating over many years has been used to search for ultra-high energy (UHE) gamma radiation (BORDER="0"> 50 TeV) associated with gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) detected by the BATSE instrument on the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory (CGRO). Upper limits for a one minute interval after each burst are presented for seven GRBs located with zenith anglesBASELINE" BORDER="0"> < 20°. A 4.3BASELINE" BORDER="0"> excess over background was observed between 10 and 20 minutes following the onset of a GRB on 11 May 1991. The confidence level that this is due to a real effect and not a background fluctuation is 99.8%. If this effect is real then cosmological models are excluded for this burst because of absorption of UHE gamma rays by the intergalactic radiation fields.  相似文献

Abstract— We have determined the abundances of Ir and other elements by neutron activation analysis on annual dust samples from an ice core from Site B in the Crête region in central Greenland covering the years 1905–1914. Iridium was detected in all samples, but we found no excess Ir above the background in the years following the Tunguska event. The lack of an Ir anomaly in the years after the Tunguska impact combined with the knowledge of the energy released during the impact and our present knowledge about stratospheric transport implies either a very low Ir content of the impactor or an exceptionally high geocentric velocity for the impactor.  相似文献
