A Time Evolution Study of the Superhumps of the Dwarf Nova 1RXS J232953.9+062814 by Wavelet Transform

The time evolution behaviour of the superhumps of the dwarf nova1RXS J232953.9+ 062814 is investigated with the wavelet analysis method. On the basis of two nights CCD photometry performed during its first superoutburst as well as other published brightness data, we reveal the superhump's time-dependence as a function of periods and time. Our light curves, which phased in the rapid decay ending portion of the superoutburst and in the dawn of a following normal outburst, are important to help trace the superhump evolution for the star. Both the superhump period and the orbital period of the binary system are detected in the present data. We obtain P _sh=0.0458±0.0002d and P _orb=0.0450±0.0002d. They agree with those existing values. The two periods exchanged their roles during the superhump evolution. The general profile of brightness fading over the outbursts roughly followed an exponential decay law or a form of a five-order polynomial. A multi‐level parallelized substructuring‐frontal solution for coupled thermo/hydro/mechanical problems in unsaturated soil

This paper proposes a multi‐level parallelized substructuring–frontal combined algorithm for the analysis of the problem of thermo/hydraulic/mechanical behaviour of unsaturated soil. Temperature, displacement, pore water pressure and pore air pressure are treated as the primary variables in a non‐linear analysis. Details are given firstly of the substructuring–frontal combined approach. The incorporation of the algorithm in a multi‐level parallel strategy is then discussed. The parallel processing can thus be carried out at different substructural levels. The method thus developed impacts, in a positive way, on both computer storage requirement and execution time. Characters of the Pco2 and CO2 Flux in the East China Sea in Autumn

Pco2 of air and seawater samples from the East China Sea(ECS) were measured in situ in autumn, 1994,Ocean currents,terrestrial fluviation,biological activities,etc.,Pco2 char-acters in air and seawater were investigated,CO2 flux and its character in the East China Sea are discussed on the basis of the Pco2 profiles of air and seawater,It was clear that the nearshore was the source of CO2;and tht the oulter sea area was the sink of CO2; and that the shelf area of the EXS is a net sink for atmospheric CO2 in autumn.     

类太阳色球活动星εEri磁场的观测研究

本文给出１９９３—１９９４年期间，用云南天文台１米望远镜折轴摄谱仪观测获得类太阳色球活动星。εＥｒｉ的５个波段高分辨、高信噪比光谱，运用两种不同方法：谱线轮廓塞曼致宽分析和多重线统计分析法成功地测定了εＥｒｉ的表面磁场强度和磁场的覆盖因子，并对这两种磁场测定方法作了简单的讨论．

斑节对虾白斑综合症杆状病毒感染的实验模式

在建立斑节对虾实验室养殖模式的基础上，对野外采集的有白斑综合症病毒（WSSV）病典型症状的斑节对虾初步纯化其病毒，并进行WSSV的PCR检测，得到WSSV的感染用样品。对健康斑节对虾分别进行浸浴感染，投喂感染和注射感染。对感染死亡个体进行WSSA的PCR检测和细菌检测，证实WSSV感染性和致死性。浸浴感染、投喂感染和注射感染的感染量分别为4mL/L、0.2g/10g虾体、1/2稀释液0.05mL/10g虾体，死亡开始时间分别为16d、42h、28h，三种感染模式最终死亡率100%，从开始死亡到全部死亡延续时间分别为15d、82h、44h。

A Linear Dependence between the Magnitude and the Logarithm of the Length of the Time the Quasars OJ287 and 3C345 Stay below this Magnitude

We have studied the optical historical light curves of two Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs): OJ287 and 3C345. We find a linear dependence between the magnitude and the logarithm of the length of the time the objects stay below this magnitude. The relation may originate from a fractal structure of the light curve. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.
