依据大量实地测试调查资料和专题研究成果而完成的《南水北调西线工程超前期工作区域工程地质及区域稳定性评价报告》,在全面详细分析论证了调水工程部署区区域工程地质及区域稳定性条件以及现拟调水方案地质条件的适宜性之后,又从西线调水的全局出发,明确提出:(1)西线调水在地质条件上是可行的;(2)西线通雅大的多河一线联合调水开发方案好;(3)西线还可调引澜沧江源区河水;(4)西线调水的优越性与艰难性共存;(5)西线调水开发论证工作要继续;(6)西线调水规划工程的综合性地质调查、试验研究及地质构造可行性论证要提前安排的结论和建议。实现了国家计委和地矿部、水利部希望通过本次区域工程地质及区域稳定性评价,能对西线调水的地质构造可能性有个明确结论的期望。 相似文献

Strong ground motion parameters for Shillong plateau of northeastern India are examined. Empirical relations are obtained for main parameters of ground motions as a function of earthquake magnitude, fault type, source depth, velocity characterization of medium and distance. Correlation between ground motion parameters and characteristics of seismogenic zones are established. 铜镍硫化物矿床与钒钛磁铁矿矿床虽然同属与镁铁-超镁铁质岩有关的岩浆型矿床范畴,但在一般情况下,二者是不共生的.新疆东天山地区的香山西矿床则是一个铜镍矿与钛铁矿共生的实例.香山地区为一复式含矿杂岩体,最早期形成辉长岩(如角闪辉长岩、灰白色细粒辉长岩等)为主体的侵入;第二期侵入的是以辉橄岩、单辉橄榄岩、二辉橄榄岩等为主的超镁铁质岩,含铜镍硫化物矿化;第三期则为岩浆期后残余岩浆形成的含钛铁矿化的辉长岩(脉).香山西铜镍-钛铁矿床含矿岩石的碱度、镁铁指数、岩浆酸度、钙碱富集指数等地球化学参数,氧逸度和硫逸度等物理化学参数均介于独立的典型铜镍硫化物和典型钒钛磁铁矿矿床之间.矿床中磁铁矿较其他钒钛磁铁矿矿床(尾亚)具较高的V和Ti含量,同时黄铁矿和黄铜矿具较高的Co、Ni和Cu含量,反映出成矿过程中,Cu-Ni-Co系列与V-Ti-Fe系列的分离不够彻底.形成本区CuNi-VTi复合型矿床的原因,可能在于矿床所处独特的构造环境--产于造山带,而不是克拉通(边缘). 相似文献

GOCO05c: A New Combined Gravity Field Model Based on Full Normal Equations and Regionally Varying Weighting 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
GOCO05c is a gravity field model computed as a combined solution of a satellite-only model and a global data set of gravity anomalies. It is resolved up to degree and order 720. It is the first model applying regionally varying weighting. Since this causes strong correlations among all gravity field parameters, the resulting full normal equation system with a size of 2 TB had to be solved rigorously by applying high-performance computing. GOCO05c is the first combined gravity field model independent of EGM2008 that contains GOCE data of the whole mission period. The performance of GOCO05c is externally validated by GNSS–levelling comparisons, orbit tests, and computation of the mean dynamic topography, achieving at least the quality of existing high-resolution models. Results show that the additional GOCE information is highly beneficial in insufficiently observed areas, and that due to the weighting scheme of individual data the spectral and spatial consistency of the model is significantly improved. The large dynamic range provided by the SOHO/EIT CCD (1 : 5000) is needed to observe the large EUV zoom of coronal structures
from coronal homes up to flares. Histograms show that often a wide dynamic range is present in each image. Extracting hidden
structures in the background level requires specific techniques such as the use of the Multiscale Vision Model (MVM, Bijaoui
et al., 1998). This method, based on wavelet transformations optimizes detection of various size objects, however complex they may
be. Bijaoui et al. built the Multiscale Vision Model to extract small dynamical structures from noise, mainly for studying galaxies. In this
paper, we describe requirements for the use of this method with SOHO/EIT images (calibration, size of the image, dynamics
of the subimage, etc.). Two different areas were studied revealing hidden structures: (1) classical coronal mass ejection
(CME) formation and (2) a complex group of active regions with its evolution. The aim of this paper is to define carefully
the constraints for this new method of imaging the solar corona with SOHO/EIT. Physical analysis derived from multi-wavelength
observations will later complete these first results.

In 1972, Apollo 17 astronauts returned 170.4 kg of lunar material. Within 1 month of their return, a subset of those samples was specially curated with the forethought that future analytical techniques would offer new insight into the formation and evolution of the Moon. Of interest in this work is sample 71036, a basalt collected from the rim of Steno crater in the Taurus–Littrow Valley, which was stored frozen and was processed and released for study 50 years later. We report, for the first time, the detailed mineralogy and petrology of 71036 and its companion samples 71035, 71037, and 71055 using a novel combination of 2-D and 3-D methods. We investigate lunar volatiles through in situ measurements of apatite and 3-D measurements of vesicles to understand the degassing histories of the Steno crater basalts. Our coupled 2-D petrography and 3-D tomography data sets support a model of the Steno crater basalts crystallizing in the upper crust of a mare lava flow. Apatite F and OH chemistry and the late-stage deformation of voids and formation of smaller vesicles provide evidence supporting coeval degassing of volatiles and crystallization of mesostasis apatite in Apollo 17 basalts. This work helps to close knowledge gaps surrounding the origin, magmatic evolution, emplacement, and crystallization history of high-titanium basalts. 相似文献

We report on initial results from the first phase of Exercise #1 of the asteroFLAG hare and hounds. The asteroFLAG group is helping to prepare for the asteroseismology component of NASA's Kepler mission, and the first phase of Exercise #1 is concerned with testing extraction of estimates of the large and small frequency spacings of the low‐degree p modes from Kepler‐like artificial data.
