The response of autoclaved aerated concrete confined masonry buildings to seismic ground motion has been studied. Three 1:4 scale models of residential buildings with the same distribution of walls in plan but different types of floors and number of stories have been tested on a uni-directional shaking table. Lightweight prefabricated slabs have been installed in the case of the three-storey model M1, whereas reinforced concrete slabs have been constructed in the case of three-storey model M2 and four-storey model M3. Model M1 was subjected to seismic excitation along the axis of symmetry, whereas models M2 and M3 were tested orthogonal to it. Typical storey mechanism, characterised by diagonal shear failure mode of walls in the ground floor in the direction of excitation has been observed in all cases. Taking into consideration the observed behaviour, a numerical model with concentrated masses and storey hysteretic rules has been used to simulate the observed behaviour. Storey resistance curves calculated by a push-over method and hysteretic rules, which take into account damage and energy based stiffness degradation hysteretic rules, have been used to model the non-linear behaviour of the structure. Uncertainty analyses allow the identification and quantification of the factors that contribute to the potential misclassification of the ecological status of water bodies, helping to improve the sampling design used in monitoring. Here we used a Posidonia oceanica multivariate index (POMI) bio-monitoring dataset covering a total of 81 sites distributed throughout 28 water bodies from the coast of Catalonia, Balearic Islands and Croatia to determine the levels of uncertainty associated with each region and how they change according to the quality status of water bodies. Overall, variability among sites (meadows) within water bodies was the factor that generated the greatest risk of misclassification among the three regions, within which the Balearic Islands had the lowest uncertainty, followed by Croatia and Catalonia. When water bodies classified in good/high quality were separated from those in moderate/poor status classes, we found that the latter displayed higher levels of uncertainty than the former. 相似文献

The aim of this work was to derive an accurate regional model of geomagnetic components on the Adriatic. Data of north, east and vertical geomagnetic components at repeat stations and ground survey sites enclosing the Adriatic Sea were used to obtain a geomagnetic model at 2010.5 epoch. The core field was estimated by use of the global Enhanced Magnetic Model, while the crustal field by a mathematical technique for expanding vector systems on a sphere into basis functions, known as spherical elementary current systems method. The results of this method were presented and compared to the crustal field estimations by the Enhanced Magnetic Model. The maps of isolines of the regional model are also presented. 相似文献

The geomagnetic field components are periodically measured at repeat stations. The main objective of the repeat stations is to provide data for tracing the secular variation of the geomagnetic field components. Secular variation at the repeat station is generally different from that at geomagnetic observatory used in the data reduction. The effect of the secular variation differences on geomagnetic data reduction was estimated for the regions of Europe, North America (below 60°N) and Australia, respectively, during the period of 2000-2010. These estimations were obtained by using the monthly mean values of north, east and vertical components of geomagnetic field, recorded at geomagnetic observatories. The effects were calculated by using observatories pairs, with distances from 350 km (in Europe) to 3100 km (in North America and Australia). The maximal effects were found to be the smallest in east component in Europe and North America, and vertical component in Australia; the effects increase with time from a central reduction epoch and they are not constant during mentioned eleven years; they were less than 1 nT only in Europe, for distances between the observatories up to 1000 km in all three components and for periods spanning ±1 month from a central epoch. It was found that their year to year variability is mostly due to the non-eliminated external field residuals in the observatories monthly means; their effect is up to 3 nT for ±3 months from a central epoch. Further, the real effects were compared to those modeled by IGRF-12 model. Infrasound environments in the Czech microbarograph network were studied. Reference Fourier amplitude spectra were calculated from data measured at three microbarograph sites of the network in May 2011-April 2012; directional analysis of infrasound arrivals in the frequency band 0.15-0.4 Hz was performed for the microbarograph array at Panská Ves in May 2014-April 2015. Diurnal, seasonal and site-to-site variability of the reference spectra was evaluated. Site-to-site variability is influenced by the location of the respective sensors in the open air and inside the observatory buildings and by local noise phenomena like wind turbines. Diurnal variability is well developed in summer with maximum ambient noise levels during the daytime and minima at night. Seasonal variability is observed at night with maxima in winter and minima in summer. Wind and wind eddies seem to be an important source of ambient noise in measurements in the Czech microbarograph network. A distinct spectral peak occurs near 0.2 Hz with amplitudes by about one order of magnitude higher in winter than in summer. Its seasonal variability is related to seasonal propagation of microbaroms from the source region in the Northern Atlantic. 相似文献

Dispersions for the pushover‐based risk assessment of reinforced concrete frames and cantilever walls 下载免费PDF全文
The paper presents the results of an investigation into the dispersion values, expressed in terms of limit‐state spectral accelerations, which could be used for the pushover‐based risk assessment of low‐height to mid‐height reinforced concrete frames and cantilever walls. The results of an extensive parametric study of a portfolio of test structures indicated that the dispersion values due to record‐to‐record variability and modelling uncertainty (βLS,RU) are within the range from 0.3 to 0.55 for the near collapse limit state, and between 0.35 and 0.60 for the collapse limit state. The dispersions βLS,RU proposed for the code‐conforming and the majority of old (non code‐conforming) frames are in between these values. On the other hand, the dispersions proposed for the old frames with a soft storey and an invariant plastic mechanism, and for the code‐conforming cantilever walls, are at the lower and upper bounds of the presented values, respectively. The structural parameters that influence these dispersions were identified, and the influence of different ground motion sets, and of the models used for the calculation of the rotation capacities of the columns, on the calculated fragility parameters was examined and quantified. The proposed dispersion values were employed in a practice‐oriented pushover‐based method for the estimation of failure probability for eight selected examples. The pushover‐based risk assessment method, although extremely simple and economical when compared with more rigorous probabilistic methods, was able to predict seismic risk with reasonable accuracy, thus showing it to be a practical tool for engineers. Rujevac is a low-temperature hydrothermal polymetallic Sb-Pb-Zn-As vein-type ore deposit, hosted within a volcanogenic-sedimentary zone situated in the Rujevac-Crvene Stene-Brezovica Diabase-Chert Formation (DCF) of the Podrinje Metallogenic District (PMD), Serbia. It is located several kilometers SE from the Boranja contact aureole, which is an integral part of the PMD in Western Serbia. Genetically related to the Tertiary granodioritic magma, the mineral assemblages are characterized by specific features. The mineral association of this deposit consists of sulfides, Pb-Sb(As) sulfosalts, native metals, oxides, hydroxides and gangue minerals. Chemical composition of the ore is very complex, where contents of valuable metals range as follows: Sb (0.17–24.31 wt.%), Zn (0.21–6.29 wt.%), Pb (0.15–6.33 wt.%), As (0.06–1.28 wt.%), Cd (25–747 ppm), Ag (7–408 ppm), Hg (13–473 ppm), and Tl (<1–29 ppm). Electron Probe Microanalyses (EPMA) of native arsenic from both the Rujevac and Stragari deposits showed contents of As up to 98.8 and 97.1 wt.%, with impurity contents of Sb up to 1.3 and 6.6 wt.%, and Tl up to 2 and 1.3 wt.%, respectively. Rhombohedral unit-cell parameters for native arsenic from Rujevac and Stragari deposits amount to: a?=?3.760(2), c?=?10.555(3) Å, V?=?129.23(7) Å3 and a?=?3.763(1), c?=?10.560(5) Å, V?=?129.48(8) Å3, respectively. Mineral assemblages, deposition order and genesis of the Rujevac polymetallic deposit were also discussed in detail.
