A lithogeochemical, mineral chemical, isotopic, and fluid inclusion study of barren, low-, and high-grade Au-mineralized samples from the shear zone-hosted Amantaytau gold deposit, Uzbekistan, shows that the local host rocks, Late Ordovician–Earlz Silurian carbonacous shales, are likely to have been an important source of Au, As, Ni, and S in the formation of the deposit. Syn-depositional pyrite in these shales contains on average 0.23 ppm Au, 1,083 ppm As, and 861 ppm Ni. The distribution of rare earth elements (REE) indicates a homogeneous source of light REE, whereas the heavy REE distribution reflects most likely primary variations in the sediments. The mineralized zone is marked by a positive Eu anomaly, which supports reducing conditions during the mineralization. A hydrothermal overprint by an aqueous–carbonic fluid is reflected in a high-grade Au-mineralized sample by δ13C values of ?13.0?‰ (V-PDB). The δ 34S values in pyrite (?0.13 to +7.30?‰ CDT) from barren and mineralized samples are consistent with marine sulfate being the principal source of the ore sulfur. Assuming a formation temperature of between 300 and 400 °C for the main stage of mineralization, as indicated by the alteration mineral assemblage, the calculated δ 18Ofluid is between 9.5 and 13.4?‰ V-SMOW, which points at a metamorphic origin of the ore fluid.  相似文献

Summary Monthly mean temperature and monthly precipitation totals in two small catchments in the Czech Republic are estimated from large-scale 500 hPa height and 1000/500 hPa thickness fields using statistical downscaling. The method used is multiple linear regression. Whereas precipitation can be determined from large-scale fields with some confidence in only a few months of the year, temperature can be determined successfully. Principal components calculated separately from the height and thickness anomalies are identified as the best predictor set. The method is most accurate if the regression is performed using seasons based on three months. The test on an independent sample, consisting of warm seasons, confirms that the method successfully reproduces the difference in mean temperature between two climatic states, which indicates that this downscaling method is applicable for constructing scenarios of a future climate change. The ECHAM3 GCM is used for scenario construction. The GCM is shown to simulate surface temperature and precipitation with low accuracy, whereas the large-scale atmospheric fields are reproduced well; this justifies the downscaling approach. The observed regression equations are applied to 2xCO2 GCM output so that the model’s bias is eleminated. This procedure is then discussed and finally, temperature scenarios for the 2xCO2 climate are constructed for the two catchments. Received December 3, 1998 Revised December 4, 1999  相似文献

Groundwater-quality monitoring plays an important role in groundwater protection and quality conservation. National, regional, and site-specific monitoring programs operating in Czechoslovakia concern collection of back-ground data on groundwater quality and regional diffusion pollution problems. Site-specific monitoring is concerned with point sources of pollution. Pilot monitoring stations with automatic data acquisition systems optimize monitoring methods, design of monitoring networks, sampling techniques, and frequency and selection of the variables analyzed. Ground-water-quality monitoring in Czechoslovakia supports decision and policy making in areas of intensive farming. Time and spatial changes in shallow vulnerable aquifers are evaluated in several areas of national territory and support integrated land-use planning and groundwater protection management.  相似文献

The concept of spectral analysis using least-squares is further developed to remove any undesired influence on the spectrum. The influence of such a systematic noise can be eliminated without the necessity of knowing the magnitudes of the noise constituents. The technique can be used for irregularly spaced as well as equidistantly spaced data. The response to random noise is found to be constant in the frequency domain and its expected level is derived. Presence of random noise in the analyzed time series is shown to transform the spectrum merely linearly. Examples of applications of the technique are presented.  相似文献

The paper presents the radio spectra of seven solar flares (May 16, 1981; August 19, 1981; January 31, 1982; February 1, 1982; June 3, 1982; June 7, 1982; and July 12, 1982), whose common feature is the presence of narrowband dm-spikes. A close relationship was found among dm-spikes, dm-pulsations and type II radio bursts. Moreover, all flares under study showed indications of a mass ejection process. Based both on these facts and on the theory of dm-spikes (Kuijpers et al., 1981), our observations can be explained by runaway processes in several small regions within the ejected and tearing magnetic structure of the flare.  相似文献

The Commission on Spatial Data Standards of the International Cartographic Association is working to define formal models and technical characteristics of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI). To date, this work has been restricted to the Enterprise and Information Viewpoints from the ISO Reference Model for Open Distributed Processing standard. The Commission has developed models for these two viewpoints. These models describe how the different parts of an SDI fit together in the viewpoints in question. These models should be seen as a contribution towards the overall model of the SDI and its technical characteristics. During the model development process, the roles of the different Actors in an SDI in the Enterprise and Information Viewpoints have also been identified in Use Case diagrams of an SDI. All the models have been developed using the Unified Modeling Language.  相似文献

We obtained estimates of the Johnson V absolute magnitudes (H) and slope parameters (G) for 583 main-belt and near-Earth asteroids observed at Ond?ejov and Table Mountain Observatory from 1978 to 2011. Uncertainties of the absolute magnitudes in our sample are <0.21 mag, with a median value of 0.10 mag. We compared the H data with absolute magnitude values given in the MPCORB, Pisa AstDyS and JPL Horizons orbit catalogs. We found that while the catalog absolute magnitudes for large asteroids are relatively good on average, showing only little biases smaller than 0.1 mag, there is a systematic offset of the catalog values for smaller asteroids that becomes prominent in a range of H greater than ~10 and is particularly big above H  12. The mean (Hcatalog ? H) value is negative, i.e., the catalog H values are systematically too bright. This systematic negative offset of the catalog values reaches a maximum around H = 14 where the mean (Hcatalog ? H) is ?0.4 to ?0.5. We found also smaller correlations of the offset of the catalog H values with taxonomic types and with lightcurve amplitude, up to ~0.1 mag or less. We discuss a few possible observational causes for the observed correlations, but the reason for the large bias of the catalog absolute magnitudes peaking around H = 14 is unknown; we suspect that the problem lies in the magnitude estimates reported by asteroid surveys. With our photometric H and G data, we revised the preliminary WISE albedo estimates made by Masiero et al. (Masired, J.R. et al. [2011]. Astrophys. J. 741, 68–89) and Mainzer et al. (Mainzer, A. et al. [2011b]. Astrophys. J. 743, 156–172) for asteroids in our sample. We found that the mean geometric albedo of Tholen/Bus/DeMeo C/G/B/F/P/D types with sizes of 25–300 km is pV = 0.057 with the standard deviation (dispersion) of the sample of 0.013 and the mean albedo of S/A/L types with sizes 0.6–200 km is 0.197 with the standard deviation of the sample of 0.051. The standard errors of the mean albedos are 0.002 and 0.006, respectively; systematic observational or modeling errors can predominate over the quoted formal errors. There is apparent only a small, marginally significant difference of 0.031 ± 0.011 between the mean albedos of sub-samples of large and small (divided at diameter 25 km) S/A/L asteroids, with the smaller ones having a higher albedo. The difference will have to be confirmed and explained; we speculate that it may be either a real size dependence of surface properties of S type asteroids or a small size-dependent bias in the data (e.g., a bias towards higher albedos in the optically-selected sample of asteroids). A trend of the mean of the preliminary WISE albedo estimates increasing with asteroid size decreasing from D  30 down to ~5 km (for S types) showed in Mainzer et al. (Mainzer, A. et al. [2011a]. Astrophys. J. 741, 90–114) appears to be mainly due to the systematic bias in the MPCORB absolute magnitudes that progressively increases with H in the corresponding range H = 10–14.  相似文献

This paper examines soil temperature (Ts) in two different plantation forests relative to an adjacent open land area in a tropical highland environment. To achieve the objectives, Ts in a Juniperus procera (JP) plantation, a Grevillea robusta (GR) plantation, and in the adjacent open land (OL) area were measured. One-way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation were used for the data analysis. The result indicated that the mean daily Ts in the OL area at 10-cm depth of the soil was greater than the mean daily Ts recorded in the JP and GR plantations by 5 °C and 6 °C, respectively. The OL area Ts recorded at different soil depths (10 cm and 20 cm) was significantly different (p < 0.05). Rainfall (RF) and air temperature (Ta) of the study area have a direct relationship with the Ts in the plantation forests. The RF and Ta do not have a significant relationship with the Ts in the OL area at 10-cm soil depth. Overall, the study indicated that the Ts in the open land area was highly fluctuating monotonically, while it is relatively constant in the plantation forests.  相似文献
