The effects of both density stratification and magnetic field expansion on torsional Alfvén waves in magnetic flux tubes are studied. The frequencies, the period ratio P 1/P 2 of the fundamental and its first-overtone, and eigenfunctions of torsional Alfvén modes are obtained. Our numerical results show that the density stratification and magnetic field expansion have opposite effects on the oscillating properties of torsional Alfvén waves.  相似文献

The standing quasi-modes of the ideal magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) in a zero-β cylindrical magnetic flux tube that undergoes a longitudinal density stratification and radial density structuring are considered. The radial structuring is assumed to be a linearly varying density profile. Using the relevant connection formulae of the resonant absorption, the dispersion relation for the fast MHD body waves is derived and solved numerically to obtain both the frequencies and damping rates of the fundamental and first-overtone,   k = 1, 2  , modes of both the kink  ( m = 1)  and fluting  ( m = 2)  waves, where k and m are the longitudinal and azimuthal mode numbers, respectively.  相似文献

Using measured radial velocity data of five double lined spectroscopic binary systems V380 Cygni, V401 Cyg, V523 Cas, V373 Cas and V2388 Oph, we find corresponding orbital and spectroscopic elements via the method introduced by Karami & Mohebi (2007) and Karami & Teimoorinia (2007). Our numerical results are in good agreement wit. those obtained by others using more traditional methods.  相似文献

We use an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to derive the orbital parameters ofspectroscopic binary stars. Using measured radial velocity data of six double‐lined spectroscopic binary systems RZ Cas, CC Cas, HS Her, HD 93917, V921 Her and Y Cygni, we find corresponding orbital and spectroscopic elements. Animal species in desert habitats are taken into consideration because of their uniqueness and inherent value. However the added pressures from climate and human have made living conditions difficult and acute for them. Wind erosion is one of the common phenomena in desert areas; this phenomenon can affect biotic value of those areas. Climatic constraints along with human development in such areas result in enhancing the effect of wind erosion, and as a result, affect the value of animal habitats. Therefore, by estimating the rate of wind erosion in such areas, the capability of environment for providing appropriate conditions for animal species’ subsistence can also be estimated. The objective of this research is to find the relation between the rate of wind erosion and value of animal habitat in Sarakhs as a representative of Razavi Khorasan Province. This research has been carried out in four steps: a) Approximate identification of each animal habitat in the area. b) Estimating the wind erosion based on IRIFR model. c) Estimating the approximate value of each of the animal habitats in the area. d) Determining the correlation between the value of each animal habitat with the average rate of wind erosion in that habitat. Investigating the relation between the average rate of wind erosion and the value of animal habitats which indicates that there is a significant correlation between them, that is to say, effective factors in increasing the rate of wind erosion have affected the quality of animal habitats, and proportional to their intensity, decreased the value of habitat.  相似文献

Rain gauges are installed to measure pointwise precipitation and provide a comprehensive perspective of its spatiotemporal variations. Selection of an efficient and reliable rainfall monitoring network is a key role to reduce its maintenance and handling cost. The main purpose of the current paper is to compare efficiencies of various network design methods. The applied methods are entropy theory (as probabilistic multi-criteria decision-making) and genetic algorithm (as one of the heuristic methods) with three objective functions. Also, two classical (ordinary kriging; OK) and modern (Bayesian maximum entropy; BME) spatial simulation methods were undertaken to provide a comprehensive spatial simulation of precipitation. The proposed assessment was applied on spatial mean annual precipitation variability in the Namak Lake watershed located in the central part of Iran. The final efficiency of developed network design methods is evaluated in terms of three criteria known as mass estimation error, total error, and spatial bias of estimated rainfall. Based on the results, different network distributions have been proposed by the methods. Despite the reliability of the heuristic approach in nonlinear optimization due to its mathematical principle, the results indicated that the network design based on entropy theory can be used to estimate long-term mean annual precipitation more reliably and accurately. Results of the mass estimation error have shown 78 and 83% superiority of the entropy theory approach from the worst approach obtained from the OK and BME methods, respectively.  相似文献

The radial structuring is assumed to be a linearly varying density profile. Using the relevant connection formulae, the dispersion relation for the MHD waves is derived and solved numerically to obtain both the frequencies and damping rates of the fundamental and first-overtone modes of both the kink (m=1) and fluting (m=2,3) waves. It was found that a magnetic twist will increase the frequencies, damping rates and the ratio of the oscillation frequency to the damping rate of these modes. The period ratio P 1/P 2 of the fundamental and its first-overtone surface waves for kink (m=1) and fluting (m=2,3) modes is lower than two (the value for an untwisted loop) in the presence of twisted magnetic field. For the kink modes, particularly, the magnetic twists B φ /B z =0.0065 and 0.0255 can achieve deviations from two of the same order of magnitude as in the observations. Furthermore, for the fundamental kink body waves, the frequency band width increases with increasing magnetic twist.  相似文献
