Summary Given an analytical solution (solution of the equations of motion using analytical integration techniques) an integration of the variational equations is not necessary but simply a differentiation of the analytical solution. Based on a high-precision analytical solution explicit expressions for the coefficients of the observation equations to improve state variables and force model parameters have been derived.The definition of suitable unknowns for a pure dynamic orbital improvement can be based then on an analysis of the information content of the data at hand by using those expressions.Regarding the Fourier series structure of orbital perturbations as well as the special properties of crossover difference data, the proposed technique is particularly favourable for an evaluation of Remote Sensing Data such as altimeter, SST and gradiometer data from satellites in repeating orbits.After a general discussion of the observation equations for crossover data our present results using GEOSAT altimeter data are discussed as one example for applications. Conclusions The indicators covariance is equivalent to the bivariate distribution of the class index. The factor decomposition of the indicator covariance proposed by SPJ is an isofactorial model of the corresponding bivariate distribution. However, the choices of cumulative indicators and of principal component analysis produce unacceptable inconsistencies. In LL, a correspondence analysis of the bivariate distribution was used to produce more satisfactory empirical factors. These were used in the procedure of identification of discrete isofactorial models, with improved consistency, and the benefit of change of support models.  相似文献

In this series of papers we investigate the orbital structure of three-dimensional (3D) models representing barred galaxies. In the present introductory paper we use a fiducial case to describe all families of periodic orbits that may play a role in the morphology of three-dimensional bars. We show that, in a 3D bar, the backbone of the orbital structure is not just the x1 family, as in two-dimensional (2D) models, but a tree of 2D and 3D families bifurcating from x1. Besides the main tree we have also found another group of families of lesser importance around the radial 3:1 resonance. The families of this group bifurcate from x1 and influence the dynamics of the system only locally. We also find that 3D orbits elongated along the bar minor axis can be formed by bifurcations of the planar x2 family. They can support 3D bar-like structures along the minor axis of the main bar. Banana-like orbits around the stable Lagrangian points build a forest of 2D and 3D families as well. The importance of the 3D x1-tree families at the outer parts of the bar depends critically on whether they are introduced in the system as bifurcations in z or in   z˙   .  相似文献

The focus of this study was on correlating the effect of grain-size, maximum dry-density (MDD), field moisture content, and the void ratios on penetration measured using the dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP) for laterite soils blended with fines. Tests were performed on soil samples compacted to MDD for moulding water contents set to the optimum moisture content (OMC), dry of OMC, and wet of OMC un-soaked condition. The results indicated that an increase in the fines-content caused a decrease in the MDD, and an increase in the OMC and the DCP penetration. Regressions were developed correlating various parameters.  相似文献

In the present paper we apply a new method of distinction between ordered and chaotic motion in galactic potentials. The method uses the Fourier Transform of a series of time intervals each one representing the time that elapsed between two successive points on the Poincaré surface of section. Examples of the methods ability to achieve an early and clear detection of an orbit's behavior are provided using two galactic potentials. The new method can also be applied in order to have an early distinction between ordered and sticky orbits. The method is generalized in order to be used in models with more than two dimensions. Abstract

According to recent research, one of the most promising strategies for intraurban job growth lies promoting localized clusters that produce goods and services which are primarily sold within a single city, metropolitan area, or urban region. However, in order to design urban policies to create or reinforce local clusters, the first challenge is to measure in a reliable way the clustering tendencies of different kinds of economic units in intraurban space. The aim is to compare the similarities and differences in results obtained from two methods designed to measure global clustering tendencies (the planar and network K-functions) in terms of characterization, scale, and intensity of intraurban localization patterns for tertiary economic units in a Latin American metropolis. It is concluded that the network K-function is a more appropriate method for measuring agglomeration patterns, scale, and intensity at the intra-urban level.  相似文献
