Taking account of the metallicity dependence of the s-process nucleosynthesis in the AGB stars, we adopted the wind accretion model with the condition of total angular momentum conservation and used the Monte-Carlo method to study the variations and the distributions of the orbital elements of the mild and strong Ba stars. The calculated results show that the level of heavy-element overabundance in a Ba star depends on the orbital period. Since there is a strong dependence of s-process yields on the initial stellar metallicity of the AGB star and a strong increase of the s-process yields in AGB stars with decreasing metallicity, the calculated results strongly suggest that the initial metallicity of the Ba star systems is another important parameter for the level of heavy-element overabundance in a Ba star. The strong Ba stars generally have lower metallicities than mild Ba stars. The masses of AGB progenitor and Ba star are other two parameters which also have some impact on the heavy-element overabundance in the Ba star.  相似文献

In the Myanmar jadeitite area of Pharkan, amphibole felses occur between jadeitites and serpentinized dunites. These so-called amphibole fels boundary zones were studied optically and by electron microprobe, and found to include the six amphibole species magnesiokatophorite (Mg-kat), nyböite (Nyb), eckermannite (Eck), glaucophane (Gln), richterite (Rich) and winchite (Win). In most samples, the two main amphibole species Mg-kat and Eck coexist with amphiboles containing variable amounts of components of the remaining four species, as well as with the clinopyroxenes jadeite (Jd), omphacite (Omp) and kosmochlor (Ko). However, Mg-kat, Nyb and Eck are also present as separate phases as well as in zoned porphyroblasts with Mg-kat in the core, Nyb in the inner rims, and Eck in the outer rims. The analytical data on such zoned amphiboles reveal that the chemistry changes from core to inner rim by virtue of the substitution NaAlCa -1Mg -1 (glaucophane vector), and from the inner to the outer rim along MgSiAl -1Al -1 (tschermak vector). The overall substitution from core to outer rim is, therefore, along NaSiCa -1Al -1 (plagioclase vector). Based on the Si content, three groups can be distinguished within Eck: Eck coexisting with Nyb has low Si contents of <7.6 a.p.f.u., Eck rimming Nyb has higher Si contents of 7.6–8.0 a.p.f.u., and fine-grained Eck in the matrix has Si contents of 7.9–8.0 a.p.f.u. Plotting the amphibole analyses in a compositional volume with the axes (Na+K) in A, Na in M(4), and tetrahedral Si shows that three groups of amphibole compositions can be distinguished, one being subdivided into three subsets. Group A contains Rich and Mg-kat, B comprises of Win and Gln, whereas the subsets C can be defined as follows: C1: high-Na amphiboles with low tetrahedral Si; these are mainly amphiboles from the Eck field but overlap with the two fields of Gln and Win; C2: high-Na and low-Si Ecks overlapping to high-Si Nybs; this group is midway between Eck and Nyb end members; C3: high-Na Mg-kats. Textural observations indicate three stages of sodic and sodic–calcic amphibole growth: stage 1 are amphiboles of group A (Mg-kat+Rich), stage 2 are amphiboles of group C2 (Nyb+Eck with Si<7.6 a.p.f.u.), and stage 3 are amphiboles of groups C1 and B (Eck with Si>7.6 a.p.f.u., +Gln+Win). Based on the subdivision into the compositional groups A–C, the only hint to a miscibility gap is provided by the large gap in the (Na+K) content on the A site which may point to a possible solvus in the system Eck–Win. Overall, the amphiboles investigated here show discontinuities in their growth compositions, rather than miscibility gaps. Textural observations suggest amphibole formation during fluid infiltration in the contact zone between the jadeitite bodies and the surrounding peridotite under high-pressure conditions (>1.0 GPa) and rather low temperatures of about 250–370 °C. Based on compositional trends within the amphiboles as well as phase-equilibrium constraints between amphibole and coexisting pyroxene solid solutions, the chemical composition of zoned amphibole porphyroblasts indicates two growth episodes—increasing pressures from stage 1 to stage 2 lead to the formation of Nyb from Mg-kat, and subsequently decreasing pressures lead to the formation of stage 3 Eck from Rich.  相似文献

 Contamination of groundwater by petroleum-hydrocarbons is a widespread environmental problem. Natural attenuation is a passive remedial approach to degrade and dissipate contaminants in soil and groundwater. In this study, a mass flux approach was used to calculate the contaminant mass reduction and field-scale decay rate at a gasoline spill site. The mass flux technique is accomplished using the differences in total contaminant mass flux across two cross sections of the contaminant plume. The mass flux calculation shows that up to 88% of the dissolved BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene isomers) removal was observed by natural attenuation processes. The efficiency of intrinsic biodegradation was evaluated by the in situ tracer method. A first-order decay model was applied for the natural attenuation and intrinsic biodegradation rate calculation. Results reveal that intrinsic biodegradation process was the major cause of the BTEX reduction among the natural attenuation mechanisms, and iron reduction was the dominant biodegradation pattern within the plume. Approximately 87% of the BTEX removal was caused by intrinsic biodegradation processes. The calculated BTEX natural attenuation and intrinsic biodegradation rates were 0.24 and 0.16% l/day, respectively. Results suggest that natural attenuation mechanisms can effectively contain the plume, and the mass flux method is useful in assessing the efficiency of the natural attenuation. In this paper, the Lagrangian equations of motion, thermodynamics, continuity and diffusion of a rotating, compressible, viscous atmosphere are derived. It is shown that the pressure force and Laplacian terms involving velocity, temperature and concentration in the Eulerian system become nonlinear in the Lagrangian system. In the case that these Laplacian terms can be neglected, the governing equations in the Lagrangian system can be greatly simplified, and particle dynamics and dispersion can be investigated.  相似文献

An analysis of the wind data recorded at the fifteen stations in the Salt Lake Valley indicates that the distributions of the kinetic energy of the mean and turbulent motions in the valley are generally inhomogeneous and nonstationary. The mean motion in the valley, which is strongly affected by the mountain-valley winds, shows a southeasterly flow in the evening and early morning, a northwesterly flow in the afternoon, and a transitional flow in the late morning and after sunset. The mountain winds generally associate with a horizontally convergent flow, whereas the valley winds associate with a horizontally divergent flow. The distributions of the kinetic energy of the mean and turbulent motions show a maximum occurring in the central part of the valley and two minimums, one in the northern and one in the southern part of the valley. In the afternoon, both the mean and turbulent motions increase their intensities, particularly in the western part of the valley. An analysis of the dispersion characteristics indicates that the rate of diffusion in the valley changes with time and space, with a maximum occurring in the early afternoon and minimum in the early morning.  相似文献

An analysis of 3 years' (1967–70) radiosonde wind data on the windward (Salt Lake City, Utah) and lee (Denver, Colorado) sides of mountains indicates that at these two stations: (1) the distributions of the kinetic energy of the mean and turbulent motions are similar above the mountain top; (2) below the mountain top, on the windward side, mountains tend to divert the component of the mean motion normal to the mountains to that parallel to the mountains; (3) the meridional eddy transport of westerly momentum is affected by the presence of the mountains to a higher level to the lee of the mountains than upwind of them; (4) the production of turbulent energy is higher below the mountain top in the vicinity of mountains than it is for the zonal average; (5) high frequencies of the motion show a more pronounced contribution in the meridional motion in the windward side, but in the zonal motion in the lee of the mountains; (6) disturbances of 1–2 day periods can be maintained deep into the valley, whereas disturbances of longer periods reduce their amplitudes rapidly with decreasing height from the mountain top; (7) the cospectra of the wind velocities show that the southward/northward transport of westerly momentum results from a southward/northward contribution from most frequencies. The main contributions come from eddies with periods longer than two days.  相似文献

地面磁共振是一种新的地球物理探测方法,能够通过探测地下水中氢质子丰度获取地下水含量、孔隙度等水文地质信息.然而,磁共振信号甚为微弱,仅达到纳伏级(10~(-9)V),极易受到噪声干扰.其中,尖峰噪声对磁共振信号影响最为严重,亟待研究有效的噪声抑制方法.小波多尺度分解硬阈值是近两年国际磁共振领域专家提出的尖峰噪声有效消除方法,但硬阈值算法设定阈值的固有缺陷会引发信号震荡,出现伪吉布斯效应,导致信号损失.基于此,本文提出压缩小波变换(Synchrosqueezing Wavelet Transform,SWT)和非线性國值处理(Nonlinear Thresholding,NT)算法联合消除磁共振信号尖峰噪声干扰.首先选择Morlet小波作为基小波,使得信号与噪声数据具有更高的时频集中性,利于尖峰噪声消除.其次,基于压缩小波系数进行非线性处理,可以弥补利用硬阈值和软阈值进行噪声消除时所引起的信号损失.仿真数据和实际数据结果表明,SWT联合NT方法可以利用单次采集数据有效消除尖峰噪声干扰并还原信号.本文提出的消噪方法将为磁共振数据后续反演解释,如多指数弛豫反演,奠定坚实的基础.  相似文献
