地震拓扑预测

本文对地震参数建立了地震拓扑空间并把灰色系统理论中的拓扑预测方法引入地震预测之中,研究地震长趋势的预测问题。     

The rank evaluation of South Brazilian Gondwana coals on the basis of different chemical and physical parameters

Rank evaluation of South Brazilian Gondwana coals according to the American (American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM) and German (Deutsche Industrie Normen, DIN) standard specifications or on the basis of Alpern's Universal Classification has too often led to conflicting results.When any attempt is made to determine the rank of Brazilian coals by using methods established for the Northern Hemisphere coals, two sorts of difficulties arise: namely, (1) the reflectence measurements do not indicate the real degree of coalification of the organic matter because of the liptinitic impregnations of the vitrinites, and (2) random reflectance values (R_ran, moisture, volatile-matter and carbon contents as well as the calorific value do not correlate when plotted on the ASTM and DIN classification schemes.In addition, when rank determinations are carried out by using fluorescence measurements and geochemical analyses the results are at variance in relation to those determined by the conventional chemical and physical parameters.It is suggested that the rank evaluation of South Brazilian coals is far more meaningful if carried out by reflectance measurements on vitrinites along with fluorescence measurements on sporinites, alginites and coal extracts.     

Temperature trends through urbanization in Metropolitan Washington,D.C., 1945–1979

Summary Annual and seasonal changes of the urban heat island magnitude in Washington, D.C. and a close-in suburb were analyzed for the period of 1945 through 1979. Monthly and annual mean temperature data, corrected for elevation, from three stations (National Airport, D.C.—downtown, Silver Spring, MD—suburban, and Beltsville, MD—rural) were evaluated by testing the statistical significance of temperature differences between the different data sets.The analysis indicated that the absolute heat island magnitudes have increased at the rate of 0.020 and 0.019 C/yr at Washington National Airport and Silver Spring, respectively during the study period. The differences between these two rates were not statistically significant at the 0.95 confidence level. However, the increase of the heat island magnitude from 1945 to 1979 at the suburban station was 20% greater than that at the downtown station. Those results indicate that as urbanization progresses, the suburban site, Silver Spring, has become incorporated into the Washington, D.C. urban heat island. The data also indicate that the magnitude of the heat island near the city center has continued to increase despite a significant population decrease since 1950.With 5 Figures

Experimental investigation of turbulent processes in a complex terrain

In the present paper the first results of the international KOPEX-86 experiment are presented. The experiment took place at the Kopisty Atmospheric Observatory of the Institute of Physics of the Atmosphere in Prague as part of a special project of the Commission of the Academy of Sciences in Planetary Geophysics (KAPG) in June and July 1986. Tidal deformations of viscoelastic body

Summary The tidal deformations of a viscoelastic body are studied using the simple Kelvin-Voigt model. Expressions for the phase lag and amplitude change of the displacement vector are derived. The energy dissipation rate is calculated for the main disturbing bodies and for diurnal and semidiurnal tidal waves.

双密度重叠找气新方法

本文根据岩石孔隙中的天然气引起介电测井孔隙度减小和密度测井孔隙度增大的原理,建立了双密度重叠找气新方法,消除了岩性的影响,提高了测井找气的分辨率,增加了评价气层的直观性。该方法用于寻找陕甘宁盆地低孔隙白云岩气藏,获得了明显的地质效果。这种方法还可以在其它储层岩性气藏中应用。     

单纯克山病病区与单纯大骨节病病区生态化学环境的对比研究

本文对云南省牟定县申平村单纯克山病病区和陕北榆林县蟒坑村单纯大骨节病病区的生态化学环境进行了对比研究，表明两地生态化学环境仍处于低Ｓｅ水平。申平村人群仍有潜在型克山病病例，蟒坑村人群的骨质病变则出现很高的Ｘ线阳性检出率，说明两地的致病因子仍然活跃，从生态系物质含Ｓｅ量看出，蟒坑村的缺Ｓｅ程度较申平村高。此外，单纯克山病病区申平村土壤，粮食，人发中的Ａｓ明显高于蟒坑村和非病区。为此，从Ａｓ与Ｓｅ具有
