应用1993年至2001年TOPEX/Poseidon(以下简写为T/P)卫星高度计3条下行轨道的沿轨资料,计算分析了日本以南黑潮主轴的摆动特性,发现在1993年和2000—2001年010轨道上有2次空间尺度较大、持续时间较长的弯曲。黑潮处于平直路径时流速比较大;呈稳定弯曲状态时流速与多年平均值相差不大;而黑潮在两种稳态之间转换时,伴随着流速负距平的出现。  相似文献

Beta Distribution of Surface Elevation of Random Waves   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
A probability density function (PDF) is derived of beta distribution with both λ3 (skewness) and λ4 (kurtosis) as parameters for weakly nonlinear wave surface elevation by use of a method recently proposed by Srokosz. This PDF not only has a simpler form than the well-known Gram-Charlier Series PDF derived by Longuet-Higgins. but also overcomes an obvious shortcoming of the latter that when the series is unsuitably truncated, the resulting PDF is locally negative. To test the derived beta PDF, laboratorial experiments of wind waves are conducted. The experimental data indicate that the theoretical requirements of the parameters in the beta PDF are fulfilled. The experimental results show that the present PDF is in better agreement with the measured data than the beta PDF only including parameter λ3, and also than the Gram-Charlier Series PDF truncated up to the term of H6.  相似文献

Based on the second-order random wave solutions of water wave equations in tinite water depth, statistical distributions of the depth-integrated local horizontal momentum components are derived by use of the characteristic function expansion method. The parameters involved in the distributions can be all detemained by the water depth and the wavenumber spectrum of ocean waves. As an illustrative example, a fully developed wind-generated sea is considered and the parameters are calculated for typical wind speeds and water depths by means of the Donelan and Pierson spectrum. The effects of nonlinearity and water depth on the distributions are also investigated.  相似文献

In this paper Nondestructive Damage Detection (NDD) for offshore platforms is investigated under operational conditions. As is known, there is no easy way to measure ambient excitation, so damage detection methods based on ambient excitation have become very vital for the Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of offshore platforms. The modal parameters (natural frequencies, damping ratios and mode shapes) are identified from structural response data with the Natural Excitation Technique (NExT) in conjunction with the Eigensystem Realization Algorithm (ERA) . A new method of damage detection is presented, which utilizes the invariance property of element modal strain energy. This method is to assign element modal strain energy to two parts, and defines two damage detection indicators. One is compression modal strain energy change ratio (CMSECR); the other is flexural modal strain energy change ratio (FMSECR). On the basis of Miner's linear cumulative damage theorem, random variables are introduced to evaluate objectively the fatigue damage of a semi-submerged platform structure and a method is presented to analyze the fatigue reliability of the structure in its design life. The reliability of the method is verified through numerical examples and some conclusions are drawn, which have certain guiding and reference value for design and inspection.  相似文献

A new method for estimating the n (50 or 100) -year return-period waveheight, namely, the extreme waveheight expected to occur in n years, is presented on the basis of the maximum entropy principle. The main points of the method are as follows: (1) based on the Hamihonian principle, a maximum entropy probability density function for the extreme waveheight H, f(H)= aH^γe-^βH4 is derived from a Lagrangian function subject to some necessary and rational constraints; (2) the parameters α,β, and γ in the function me expressed in terms of the mean H, variance V=(H-H^-)^2—— and bias B = (H - H^-)^3——; and (3) with H^-, V and B estimated from observed data, the n-year return-period wave height Hn is computed in accordance with the formula 1/1-F(Hn)=n, where F( Hn ) is defined as F( Hn ) = ∫0^Hnf(H)dH .Examples of estimating the 50 and 100-year return period waveheighls by the present method and by some currently used method from observed data acquired from two hydrographic stations are given. Three methods for studying wave groups and their main parameters for describing wave groupiness are reviewed in this paper. Then they are analyzed and compared combined with field data from both aspects of group height and group length. A method and two parameters that can describe wave groupiness are suggested. The groupiness parameters of sea waves at three field stations are given. The effects of groupiness on both distributions of the wave height and the phase of component waves are investigated. The effects of datum length on the calculated value of grouping parameters are also discussed.  相似文献
