Based on a four-point evaluation system consisting of accuracy, consistency, power, and chance to commit type I errors, this study compares Tango's minimum p (MinP) and Stone's maximum relative risk (MaxRR) methods for detecting focused cluster size through simulations in GIS. It
reveals that the MinP method is more effective than the MaxRR method. The MinP method exhibits higher levels of accuracy and
consistency; and its power and chance to commit type I errors are similar to the MinP method. The MaxRR method has a tendency
to underestimate the cluster size, while the MinP method tends to overestimate the cluster size, particularly when the clusters
are relatively big and have high relative risk levels. In addition, the MinP method seems to be most effective in revealing
the size of clusters when clusters are neither too strong nor too weak. The lowest detection rates for clustering occur when
the clustering signal is relatively weak, which is easily understandable. In practice, it might be useful to use both the
methods to estimate a range of possible cluster sizes, where the MaxRR method indicates the lower estimate, while the MinP
method gives the higher estimate of the cluster size.

汶川地震灾后农田和森林植被恢复遥感监测 总被引:1,自引:1,他引:1
2008年汶川8.0级特大地震对当地的生态系统造成了极大的破坏,为了评估5年来灾区农田和森林植被的恢复情况,利用逐年机载高分辨率遥感影像,结合星载遥感数据和地面调查数据,开展了灾区农林植被恢复状况监测。在农田恢复监测方面,结合2008年地震发生后以及2013年5月中旬的机载高分辨率遥感数据,采用目视解译的方式对汶川地震中受损农田的恢复状况进行监测与评估,同时利用GVG(GPS、Video和GIS)农情采样系统的作物种植成数调查结果,分析了灾后作物种植结构的变化。结果表明,灾区1592 ha受损农田,5年后仅有约17.5%得到了恢复和耕种使用。就耕地利用强度而言,重灾区耕地利用率较高,作物种植结构没有发生重大变化。在森林恢复状况监测方面,对典型区(岷江干旱河谷区和盆周山地区的3个重点区域)采用目视解译方式识别出森林变化,并结合大区域尺度规一化植被指数(NDVI)时间序列变化分析,对整个灾区的森林损毁和恢复情况做出评价。监测结果显示,汶川县、什邡市和绵竹市的森林植被恢复情况总体较好,但是一些坡度较大的损毁区、次生灾害频发区的森林尚未恢复,大区域尺度的统计结果显示,地震重灾区的46381 ha重度损毁森林植被和177025 ha中度损毁森林植被区域,完全恢复的区域占13.52%和25.84%,部分恢复的区域都占到50%。在自然恢复较为困难的区域,如汶川县中部和东北部、都江堰市北部、彭州市北部、什邡市北部、绵竹市北部、安县北部及北川县南部等,需要加强人工干预。遥感监测方法既适用于震后的农田和森林恢复状况动态监测,也适用于其他自然灾害发生时对灾区农田和森林植被破坏状况进行应急监测,具有实际应用价值和良好的发展前景。 相似文献

空间索引技术在诸多领域均有十分重要的研究意义,目前已存在很多种建立方法,各有优缺点。MapInfo软件功能强大易用,但不具有建立空间索引这项功能,因此本文主要研究在MAPX基础上建立一种适合MapInfo数据的空间索引。该方法主要针对车载导航系统中的一个基本算法地图匹配来进行研究。采用单层规则格网建立的空间索引并对其进行改进,在第一步划分的基础上再次进行网格划分,建立起两级交错式划分方法的空间索引。通过实验表明该方法使实时路段搜索过程的实现简单、方便、明了。 相似文献

The research work has been seldom done about cloverleaf junction expression in a 3-dimensional city model (3DCM). The main reason is that the cloverleaf junction is often in a complex and enormous construction. Its main body is bestraddle in air, and has aerial intersections between its parts. This complex feature made cloverleaf junction quite different from buildings and terrain, therefore, it is difficult to express this kind of spatial objects in the same way as for buildings and terrain. In this paper, authors analyze spatial characteristics of cloverleaf junction, propose an all-constraint points TIN algorithm to partition cloverleaf junction road surface, and develop a method to visualize cloverleaf junction road, surface using TIN. In order to manage cloverleaf junction data efficiently, the authors also analyzed the mechanism of 3DCM data management, extended BLOB type in relational database, and combined R-tree index to manage 3D spatial data. This paper has established a high-precision hierarchical estimated pose parameters of image. Firstly, we select corresponding three image points of 3D points which constitute the largest area in image as a base, in order to estimate the depth and translate information; then based on the above method, we obtain the scale parameter of camera exterior information. And finally, the topic is transformed to a problem of estimating rotation relationship by vector, using Procrustes theory to obtain the best estimate of the angle elements of exterior parameters. The method can effectively solve problems which depth and coupling pose parameters cannot deal with. Experimental results show that this method of determining position and orientation parameter estimation model is of briefness, easy convergence and it can also achieve higher parameter estimation accuracy than the direct projection matrix factorization. 相似文献

ABSTRACTSocial, economic, and environmental statistical data associated with geographic points are currently globally available in large amounts. When conventional thematic maps, such as proportional symbol maps or point diagram maps, are used to represent these data, the maps appear cluttered if the point data volumes are relatively large or cover a relatively dense region. To overcome these limitations, we propose a new type of thematic map for statistical data associated with geographic points: the point grid map. In a point grid map, an input point data set is transformed into a grid in which each point is represented by a square grid cell of equal size while preserving the relative position of each point, which leads to a clear and uncluttered appearance, and the grid cells can be shaded or patterned with symbols or diagrams according to the attributes of the points. Effects of rapidly changing ionospheric weather are critical in high accuracy positioning, navigation, and communication applications. A system used to construct the global total electron content (TEC) distribution for monitoring the ionospheric weather in near-real time is needed in the modern society. Here we build the TEC map named Taiwan Ionosphere Group for Education and Research (TIGER) Global Ionospheric Map (GIM) from observations of ground-based GNSS receivers and space-based FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC (F3/C) GPS radio occultation observations using the spherical harmonic expansion and Kalman filter update formula. The TIGER GIM (TGIM) will be published in near-real time of 4-h delay with a spatial resolution of 2.5° in latitude and 5° in longitude and a high temporal resolution of every 5 min. The F3/C TEC results in an improvement on the GIM of about 15.5%, especially over the ocean areas. The TGIM highly correlates with the GIMs published by other international organizations. Therefore, the routinely published TGIM in near-real time is not only for communication, positioning, and navigation applications but also for monitoring and scientific study of ionospheric weathers, such as magnetic storms and seismo-ionospheric anomalies. 相似文献
