- In the time domain method the dynamic load is successfully identified when the accelerations, velocities and displacements or velocities and displacements of the structure are known. But in engineering practice or experiments usually only the acceleration response is recorded. In this paper an improved time domain method is proposed for dynamic load identification. In this method by using of Duhamel integral, only the acceleration response is required for load identification. As an application of the present method, the dynamic ice load on a Bohai offshore platform is identified based on some measured acceleration. The identified values of ice load are in good agreement with the measured ones. 相似文献

To fulfil the need of development of offshore oil floating production system, the performance of turret assembly in an inboard turret mooring system has been investigated in the paper. By means of systematic evaluation, the optimal structure of the turret for single-point mooring systems has been determined. Through model tests of a turret mooring system, several groups of data such as forces, moments and displacements under different environmental conditions have been obtained. Stresses and strains of the turret structure have been calculated by means of the finite element method corresponding to the situation in the model experiment. The study shows that the selected turret structure and the designed turret assembly are technically feasible. 相似文献

The current safety factor method for evaluating earth embankment stability is not very rational since the assessment of slope stability is really an uncertainty problem. In order to consider the random property of this problem, the probabilistic analysis is introduced herein. Finally, the stability of a real beach earth embankment is analysed by means of the suggested probabilitic approach. This paper investigates the phenomena of wave refraction and diffraction in the slowly varying topography, as well as the current deflection due to wave actions. A numerical model is developed based on depth integrated mean continuity equation and momentum equations, and a 3rd-order wave equation which governs the wave diffraction, refraction and interaction with current. Examples to examine the above model are given comparing with the laboratory data or the numerical results of other researchers. An example simulating the inlet area shows the interesting velocity field which may be used as a pioneer to further study on the nearshore hydrodynamics and sedimentation. 相似文献

Based on the finite displacement theory of elastic shells, the postbuckling behaviour of submarine pipelines with residual stresses is investigated by using a new finite element formula. The corresponding complementary energy functional is first constructed, and then a geometrical stiffness matrix suitable for the postbuckling of a cylindrical shell is derived. In this matrix the effects of initial stresses and harmonic coupling terms have been considered. -By using gas-liquid two-phase flow theory, a modified mathematical model based on the computational fluid dynamics method SIMPLE (Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure-Linked Equations) is introduced to investigate implosion phenomena in high pressure chambers systematically. A theoretical simulation-prediction method, which is independent of experimental data, is developed in the paper and great improvement has been made on the topic. In the paper, various implosion situations have been simulated and predicted. Effects of a series of factors influencing implosion results and methods of reducing implosion danger have been analysed. Using the axial symmetry results of marker and cell (MAC) method as initial value in this paper, two numerical calculating methods are presented for the late wavemaking response induced by explosion in harbour. One of the methods is the superposition method of the vibration mode based on fluid slosh in container. Another one is the joining method of the MAC results with the shallow wave theory calculation in time domain. As a practical example, it is conducted to the numerical calculation about 1000 ton TNT equivalent explosion within touch of water surface. The results show that it can be rationally described with the methods to the wavemaking progress and character. The numerical results are identical with the observed scene on the spot experiment. "The effect of interaction of loads on the ultimate static strength of tubular joints of offshore fixed platforms, is a practical problem. But there is still absence of rigorous theory to explain available experimental data and empirical criteria for the static strength of tubular joints. The idea of yield at hot spot of tubular joints is introduced in this paper. The interaction equations of plastic capacity for the tubular joints under combined loads (two and three different kinds) are derived. Thereafter the Yura's test data and empirical criteria of ultimate static strength for the tubular joints can be explained. The idea of classification of category of loads in accordance with experimental data and the present theory is suggested. Finally, the improved ultimate capacity equations for tubular joints are recommended. The physical significance of the coefficient of plastic reservation Qp is discussed. 相似文献
