Adsorption of oxyanions by spent western oil shale: I. arsenate

The partitioning of arsenate between Paraho indirectly retorted and directly retorted oil shales and a combusted oil shale was examined with batch equilibrium adsorption isotherms. Arsenate adsorption was found to conform to the Freundlich adsorption model, and the combusted oil shale was found to have the greatest affinity for arsenate. The indirectly and directly retorted oil shale samples did not have statistically different affinities for arsenate. The greater adsorption capacity of combusted oil shale for arsenate was attributed to greater surface area and free iron oxide. Arsenate adsorption by combusted oil shale was not reversible. Upon dilution of the solution phase, arsenate did not desorb. Upon dilution of the retorted oil shale solutions, arsenate continued to be removed from solution. An evaluation of metal arsenate stability in the spent oil shale systems indicated that the retorted oil shale solutions were highly supersaturated with respect to magnesium and barium arsenates, whereas the combusted oil shale solutions were not supersaturated. The data were interpreted to indicate that adsorption reactions control arsenate solubility at short reaction times. As reaction times increase, precipitation reactions control soluble arsenate concentrations.

On the Kinematic Characteristics and Dynamic Process of Boundary faults of the Nansha Ultra-crust Layer-Block

The Nansha ultra-crust layer-block is confined by ultra-crustal boundary faults of distinctive features, bordering the Kangtai-Shuangzi-Xiongnan extensional faulted zone on the north, the Baxian-Baram-Yoca-Cuyo nappe faulted zone on the south, the Wan'an-Natuna strike-slip tensional faulted zone on the west and the Mondoro-Panay strike-slip compressive faulted zone on the east. These faults take the top of the Nansha asthenosphere as their common detachmental surface. The Cenozoic dynamic process of the ultra-crust layer-block can be divided into four stages: K2-E21, during which the northern boundary faults extended, this ultra-crust layer-block was separated from the South China-Indosinian continental margin, the Palaeo-South China Sea subducted southwards and the Sibu accretion wedge was formed; E22-E31, during which the Southwest sub-sea basin extended and orogeny was active due to the collision of the Sibu accretion wedge; E32-N11, during which the central sub-sea basin extended, the Miri accretion     

Chronostratigraphy and Stratigraphic Classification of the Cretaceous of the Songliao Basin

Isotopic ages of synsedimentary clay minerals were directly determined with the ultrasonicscattering-settlement separation-K-Ar dilution technique. The apparent age of black mudstoneis 123 Ma for the Quantou Formation, 111.9-89.0 Ma for the Qingshankou Formation and77.6-76.8 Ma for the upper part of the Nenjiang Formation. The Rb-Sr isochrone age of themuddy limestone-mudstone sequence of the lower part of the Nenjiang Formation is 81 Ma andthat of the muddy evaporite of the middle part of the Quantou Formation is 122.2 Ma. On thebasis of the above isotopic ages, the authors propose a modified scheme of stratigraphic classifi-cation of the Cretaceous of the Songliao basin.

分析了山东蓝宝石与世界及我国各产地蓝宝石的质量差异，指出山东蓝宝石是国内质量最高的蓝宝石，在世界所有玄武岩源岩类蓝宝石中占有重要地位，可与澳大利亚，柬埔寨，泰国蓝宝石媲美，章还剖析了包裹体，色带，熔蚀构造，裂纹对蓝宝石质量的影响，发现这4种因素一方面可通过影响蓝宝石的颜色，透明度，形状，大小，出成率等降低蓝宝石的等级，另一方面在某些特殊条件下，又可形成星光蓝宝石，魔彩蓝宝石，花色蓝宝石等稀有珍贵品种。     

前列腺癌的CT诊断及其分期讨论

目的：研究前列腺癌的ＣＴ诊断及分期诊断价值．方法;回顾性分析经手术病理证实的前列腺癌Ｉ例,研究其ＣＴ表现．结果：前列腺癌Ｉ－Ｉ期３例,ＩＩ期以上８例．结论：ＣＴ对ＩＩ期以外的前列腺癌能做出正确诊断,对Ｉ期以内的则需密切结合临床以明确诊断．     

黄河断流对河道垂向异常发育及演化的影响

近年来黄河严重断流，形成了一些异常的沉积构造和沉积体，使河道的垂向发育及演化出现异常。黄河断流使部分河道干涸，河道受到风的作用，形成了一系列风蚀及风积，风蚀作用使河道发育一系列风蚀构造(如风蚀沟槽、风蚀蘑菇等)；与此同时，风又将大量的风改造沙搬运到河道中沉积下来，形成特有的风成砂体(砂锥、砂链、砂席等)。再者，黄河断流使某些河道积水成“湖”，“湖”心沉积的低能软泥直接覆盖在河床高能相上。黄河断流后覆水非常浅，在冬季便有可能冻结成冰，并且使其下的河床被冻结，冰融化后便产生塌陷变形，使其中的原生沉积构造被深刻改造，形成特有的冰作用层，使河道发育演化出现异常。此外，黄河断流后河床干涸，如遇黄河下游降水便有可能在河道内形成径流，这种径流一方面冲蚀边、心滩，另一方面又将其冲蚀产物搬运到河床中沉积下来，形成一种非正常河水形成的沉积体，叠加在正常的河床沉积之上，使河床的垂向演化发育出现异常。河道的弱沼泽化也会使河道的演化出现异常。

The results so far obtained may be summarized as follows.The Hongshan intrusion is a dome-shaped and isolated body and deep-seated n origin.The iatrusion took place in the post-Carboniferous time The iron deposit was probably formed through metasomatie replacement of the Ordovieian limestone and therefore only extends downward for an insignifieunt depth.As a rogoureo for modern industry,it is absohtely valuess.The variation in the composition of the diorite is probably don not so much to magmatic differentiation but rather to the assimilation fo the overlying rocks.
