Currently available data on the field of velocities V r , V l , V b for open star clusters are used to perform a kinematic analysis of various samples that differ by heliocentric distance, age, and membership in individual structures (the Orion, Carina-Sagittarius, and Perseus arms). Based on 375 clusters located within 5 kpc of the Sun with ages up to 1 Gyr, we have determined the Galactic rotation parameters ω 0 = ?26.0 ± 0.3 km s?1 kpc?1, ω0 = 4.18 ± 0.17 km s?1 kpc?2, ω0 = ?0.45 ± 0.06 km s?1 kpc?3, the system contraction parameter K = ?2.4 ± 0.1 km s?1 kpc?1, and the parameters of the kinematic center R 0 = 7.4 ± 0.3 kpc and l 0 = 0° ± 1°. The Galactocentric distance R 0 in the model used has been found to depend significantly on the sample age. Thus, for example, it is 9.5 ± 0.7 and 5.6 ± 0.3 kpc for the samples of young (≤50 Myr) and old (>50 Myr) clusters, respectively. Our study of the kinematics of young open star clusters in various spiral arms has shown that the kinematic parameters are similar to the parameters obtained from the entire sample for the Carina-Sagittarius and Perseus arms and differ significantly from them for the Orion arm. The contraction effect is shown to be typical of star clusters with various ages. It is most pronounced for clusters with a mean age of ≈100 Myr, with the contraction velocity being Kr = ?4.3 ± 1.0 km s?1.  相似文献

We have redetermined the kinematic parameters of the Gould Belt using currently available data on the motion of nearby young (log t < 7.91) open clusters, OB associations, and moving stellar groups. Our modeling shows that the residual velocities reach their maximum values of ?4 km s?1 for rotation (in the direction of Galactic rotation) and +4 km s?1 for expansion at a distance from the kinematic center of ≈300 pc. We have taken the following parameters of the Gould Belt center: R 0 = 150 pc and l 0 = 128°. The whole structure is shown to move relative to the local standard of rest at a velocity of 10.7 ± 0.7 km s?1 in the direction l = 274° ± 4° and b = ?1° ± 3°. Using the derived rotation velocity, we have estimated the virial mass of the Gould Belt to be 1.5 × 106 M .  相似文献

To redetermine the Galactic spiral density wave parameters, we have performed a spectral (Fourier) analysis of the radial velocities for 44 masers with known trigonometric parallaxes, proper motions, and line-of-sight velocities. The masers are distributed in awide range of Galactocentric distances (3.5 kpc < R < 13.2 kpc) and are characterized by a wide scatter of position angles ?? in the Galactic XY plane. This has required an accurate allowance for the dependence of the perturbation phase both on the logarithm of the Galactocentric distances and on the position angles of the objects. To increase the significance of the extraction of periodicities from data series with large gaps, we have proposed and implemented a spectrum reconstruction method based on a generalized maximum entropy method. As a result, we have extracted a periodicity describing a spiral density wave with the following parameters from the maser radial velocities: the perturbation amplitude f R = 7.7 ?1.5 +1.7 km s?1, the perturbation wavelength ?? = 2.2 ?0.1 +0.4 kpc, the pitch angle of the spiral density wave i = ?5 ?0.9° +0.2° , and the phase of the Sun in the spiral density wave ?? ?? = ?147 ?17° +3° .  相似文献

Based on the epicyclic approximation, we have simulated the motion of the young open star clusters IC 4665 and Collinder 359. The separation between the cluster centers is shown to have been minimal 7 Myr ago, 36 pc. We have established a close evolutionary connection between IC 4665 and the Scorpius-Centaurus association — the separation between the centers of these structures was ≈200 pc 15 Myr ago. In addition, the center of IC 4665 at this time was near two well-known regions of coronal gas: the Local Bubble and the North Polar Spur. The star HIP 86768 is shown to be one of the candidates for a binary (in the past) with the pulsar PSR B1929+10. At the model radial velocity of the pulsar V r = 2 ± 50 km s?1, a close encounter of this pair occurs in the vicinity of IC 4665 at a time of ?1.1 Myr. At the same time, using currently available data for the pulsar B1929+10 at its model radial velocity V r = 200 ± 50 km s?1, we show that the hypothesis of Hoogerwerf et al. (2001) about the breakup of the ζ Oph-B1929+10 binary in the vicinity of Upper Scorpius (US) about 0.9 Myr ago is more plausible.  相似文献

The absolute proper motions of about 275 million stars from the Kharkov XPM catalog have been obtained by comparing their positions in the 2MASS and USNO-A2.0 catalogs with an epoch difference of about 45 yr for northern-hemisphere stars and about 17 yr for southern-hemisphere stars. The zero point of the system of absolute proper motions has been determined using 1.45 million galaxies. The equatorial components of the residual rotation vector of the ICRS/UCAC2 coordinate system relative to the system of extragalactic sources have been determined by comparing the XPM and UCAC2 stellar proper motions: ω x,y,z = (−0.06, 0.17, −0.84) ± (0.15, 0.14, 0.14) mas yr−1. These parameters have been calculated using about 1 million faintest UCAC2 stars with magnitudes R UCAC2 > 16 m and J > 14 m . 7, for which the color and magnitude equation effects are negligible.  相似文献

Trigonometric parallaxesmeasuredwith ground-based telescopes of the RECONS consortium as part of the CTIOPI program are used to search for stars that have either had an encounter with the solar system in the past or will have such an encounter in the future, at distances of less than a few parsecs. These are mainly low-mass dwarfs and subdwarfs of types M, L, and T currently at distances of less than 30 pc from the Sun. Six stars for which encounters with the solar orbit at distances of less than 1 pc are possible have been identified for the first time. For example, the minimum distance for the star **SOZ 3A will be 0.72 ± 0.11 pc at an epoch of 103 ± 44 thousand years in the future.  相似文献

The space velocities from the catalog of Nordstr?m et al. (2004) are used to trace variations of a number of kinematic parameters of single F and G dwarfs as a function of their age. The vertex deviation of disk stars increases from 7° ± 1° to 15° ± 2° as the mean age decreases from 4.3 to 1.5 Gyr. The two-dimensional velocity distributions in the UV, UW, and VW planes are analyzed. The evolution of the main peaks in the velocity distributions can be followed to an average age of ≈9 Gyr. We find that: (1) in the distributions of the UV velocity components, stars of different types are concentrated toward several stable peaks (the Hyades, Pleiades, and Sirius Cluster), suggesting that the stars belonging to these formations did not form simultaneously; (2) the peak associated with the Hyades Cluster dominates in all age intervals; and (3) the Hyades peak is strongest for stars with an average age of 1.5 Gyr, suggesting that this peak contains a considerable fraction of stars from the Hyades cluster. The age dependences of the kinematic parameters exhibit a break near ≈4–5 Gyr, which can be explained as an effect of the different contributions of stars of the thin and thick disks. The Stromberg relation yields a solar LSR velocity of V ⊙LSR = (8.7, 6.2, 7.2) ± (0.5, 2.2, 0.8) km/s.  相似文献

We have studied a sample containing ~6000 OB stars with proper motions and trigonometric parallaxes from the Gaia DR2 catalogue. The following parameters of the angular velocity of Galactic rotation have been found: Ω0 = 29.70 ± 0.11 km s-1 kpc-1, Ω'0 = -4.035 ± 0.031 km s-1 kpc-2, and Ω 0 = 0.620 ± 0.014 km s-1 kpc-3. The circular rotation velocity of the solar neighborhood around the Galactic center is V0 = 238 ± 5 km s-1 for the adopted Galactocentric distance of the Sun R0 = 8.0 ± 0.15 kpc. The amplitudes of the tangential and radial velocity perturbations produced by the spiral density wave are fθ = 4.4 ± 1.4 kms-1 and fR = 5.1 ± 1.2 kms-1, respectively; the perturbation wavelengths are λθ = 1.9 ± 0.5 kpc and λR = 2.1 ± 0.5 kpc for the adopted four-armed spiral pattern. The Sun's phase in the spiral density wave is χ = -178° ± 12°.
