A generalized diagram was constructed for the compositions of multicomponent heterogeneous parental media for diamonds of kimberlite deposits on the basis of the mantle carbonatite concept of diamond genesis. The boundary compositions on the diagram of the parental medium are defined by the components of minerals of the peridotite and eclogite parageneses, mantle carbonatites, carbon, and the components of volatile compounds of the C-O-H system and accessory phases, both soluble (chlorides, phosphates, and others) and insoluble (sulfides and others) in carbonate-silicate melts. This corresponds to the compositions of minerals, melts, and volatile components from primary inclusions in natural diamonds, as well as experimental estimations of their phase relations. Growth media for most natural diamonds are dominated by completely miscible carbonate-silicate melts with dissolved elemental carbon. The boundary compositions for diamond formation (concentration barriers of diamond nucleation) in the cases of peridotite-carbonate and eclogite-carbonate melts correspond to 30 wt % peridotite and 35 wt % eclogite; i.e., they lie in the carbonatite concentration range. Phase relations were experimentally investigated at 7 GPa for the melting of the multicomponent heterogeneous system eclogite-carbonatite-sulfide-diamond with a composition close to the parental medium under the conditions of the eclogite paragenesis. As a result, “the diagram of syngenesis” was constructed for diamond, as well as paragenetic and xenogenic mineral phases. Curves of diamond solubility in completely miscible carbonate-silicate and sulfide melts and their relationships with the boundaries of the fields of carbonate-silicate and sulfide phases were determined. This allowed us to establish the physicochemical mechanism of natural diamond formation and the P-T conditions of formation of paragenetic silicate and carbonate minerals and coexistence of xenogenic sulfide minerals and melts. Physicochemical conditions of the capture of paragenetic and xenogenic phases by growing diamonds were revealed. Based on the mantle carbonatite concept of diamond genesis and experimental data, a genetic classification of primary inclusions in natural diamond was proposed. The phase diagrams of syngenesis of diamond, paragenetic, and xenogenic phases provide a basis for the analysis of the physicochemical history of diamond formation in carbonatite magma chambers and allow us to approach the formation of such chambers in the mantle material of the Earth.  相似文献

The results of an experimental study of the pyrope (Mg3Al2Si3O12)-jadeite (NaAlSi2O6) system at P = 7.0 and 8.5 GPa and T = 1300?C1800°C are summarized in this paper. The main phases that were obtained in the experiments are garnet, pyroxene, kyanite (in some cases corundum), and quenched melt. Garnets are characterized by a stable Na2O admixture (up to 0.6 wt % at 7.0 GPa and up to 0.8 wt % at 8.5 GPa) and the high silicon content (Si = 3.016?C3.166). The maximal sodium concentrations in garnet were found at the solidus of the system, which results from an increase of the coefficient of sodium partitioning between garnet and melt during a temperature decrease.  相似文献

We propose a new type of earthquake precursor based on the analysis of correlation dynamics between geophysical signals of different nature. The precursor is found using a two-parameter cross-correlation function introduced within the framework of flicker-noise spectroscopy, a general statistical physics approach to the analysis of time series. We consider an example of cross-correlation analysis for water salinity time series, an integral characteristic of the chemical composition of groundwater, and geoacoustic emissions recorded at the G-1 borehole on the Kamchatka peninsula in the time frame from 2001 to 2003, which is characterized by a sequence of three groups of significant seismic events. We found that cross-correlation precursors took place 27, 31, and 35 days ahead of the strongest earthquakes for each group of seismic events, respectively. At the same time, precursory anomalies in the signals themselves were observed only in the geoacoustic emissions for one group of earthquakes.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new hydrographic climatology of the Okhotsk Sea; this climatology was constructed from the Far Eastern Regional Hydrometeorological Research Institute (FERHRI) database. The FERHRI database has a volume of data three to five times larger than the data used in previous studies because unpublished Russian observation data have been included in the FERHRI database. After removing erroneous data from the database by pertinent quality control methods, the climatology for 1/4°?×?1/4° grids is produced by applying objective analysis procedures. Features similar to those in previous studies are seen in the intermediate layers in the Okhotsk Sea, whereas our climatology provides values that fill in gaps in previous climatologies. It is obvious from the monthly climatologies that temperature and salinity distributions evolve in accordance with seasonal variations in the Eastern Sakhalin Current and inflow from the North Pacific. We also reconstructed climatologies for the winter mixed layer and dense shelf water from data obtained from the temperature minimum waters identified as the remnants of these two layers. Multibeam bathymetric surveys and single-beam profiles were collected in 2003–2010 from aboard the Ukrainian RV Professor Vodyanitskiy (cruises PV-58 and PV-60, 2003 and 2004), and the German RV Meteor (cruise M-72, legs 1 and 4, 2007) and RV Maria S. Merian (cruise MSM-15, leg 2, 2010) along the continental margin of the NW Black Sea. Integrating published, reprocessed and novel data has revealed the existence of a major continuous channel extending from the Dnepr paleo-delta into greater water depths. It is more than 90 km long, 1.1 km wide and up to 125 m deep. On the upper slope (120–960 m water depth), a number of smaller channels merge into the large, Y-shaped Dnepr Canyon, which then continues obliquely downslope via this submarine channel to at least 1,815 m water depth off the Crimean continental margin, NW Black Sea. The channel could be an important, hitherto unknown link between the shallow oxic and deep anoxic environments of the Black Sea, along which sediment and organic matter could be funneled into the deep-sea basin. This would have far-reaching implications for investigations dealing with marine geology and biology, climate change, as well as oil and natural gas exploitation. The unusual alignment of the channel along the margin of the basin, as well as the location and mode of channel termination in deeper waters deserve future research.  相似文献

We show that the mechanism called “near-field effect” [e.g., Petrova, E.V., Tishkovets, V.P., Jockers, K., 2007. We carried out a search for peak in homogeneities in the distribution of matter – namely clumps and voids, within the range Z ∼ 1-3. We used a new method, based on the lensing of quasars by a combination of lenses, belonging to the above sought in homogeneities in the matter distribution. This work confirms the evidence of the existence of in homogeneities found by us earlier – of a clump (superattractor N.1), and of a void(supervoid). Besides, the existence of a new gigantic clump (superattractorN.2) was also discovered at Z ∼ 3. These clumps could well serve ascenters of the Bose-condensation in the early Universe; in particular –as Anselm's arion condensate, which leads to the formation of quasiperiodic structures with a period p ∼ 100-200 Mpc. Abstract. Some hydrophysical environmental parameters ( e.g . temperature, salinity, transparency, flows, erc .) are known to profoundly affect the structural and functional characteristics and species composition of plankton communities. The purpose of the present work was to assess the opposite - the influence of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of plankton on some optical (light transmission. optical density) and acoustic (sound volume backscattering strength) characteristics in the Black Sea. The influence of specific features (shape, size and color) of planktonic unicells on light attenuation in seawater was examined in laboratory experiments. The data from field studies on variability of statistic characteristics of sound volume backscattering strength in upper productive water layer, depending on species composition and numbers of zooplankton, are given.  相似文献
