Records of the Moon‐forming impact and the 470 Ma disruption of the L chondrite parent body in the asteroid belt from U‐Pb apatite ages of Novato (L6)

Novato, a newly observed fall in the San Francisco Bay area, is a shocked and brecciated L6 ordinary chondrite containing dark and light lithologies. We have investigated the U‐Pb isotope systematics of coarse Cl‐apatite grains of metamorphic origin in Novato with a large geometry ion microprobe. The U‐Pb systematics of Novato apatite reveals an upper intercept age of 4472 ± 31 Ma and lower intercept age of 473 ± 38 Ma. The upper intercept age is within error identical to the U‐Pb apatite age of 4452 ± 21 Ma measured in the Chelyabinsk LL5 chondrite. This age is interpreted to reflect a massive collisional resetting event due to a large impact associated with the peak arrival time at the primordial asteroid belt of ejecta debris from the Moon‐forming giant impact on Earth. The lower intercept age is consistent with the most precisely dated Ar‐Ar ages of 470 ± 6 Ma of shocked L chondrites, and the fossil meteorites and extraterrestrial chromite relicts found in Ordovician limestones with an age of 467.3 ± 1.6 Ma in Sweden and China. The lower intercept age reflects a major disturbance related to the catastrophic disruption of the L chondrite parent body most likely associated with the Gefion asteroid family, which produced an initially intense meteorite bombardment of the Earth in Ordovician period and reset and degassed at least approximately 35% of the L chondrite falls today. We predict that the 470 Ma impact event is likely to be found on the Moon and Mars, if not Mercury.     

Observations on the ovulating process of the red flagellated shrimpAcetes chinensis

Acetes chinensis always ovulate in the dark at night. Two to five hours before ovulation, the mature oocytes change from white to orange. In the meantime, meiosis of the oocytes occurs, and reaches the metaphase just prior to ovulation. If ovarian colour change starts in the dark at night but ovulation does not start by break of dawn, ovulation will be inhibited and meiosis of the cells will be blocked.     

Mineral chemistry of olivines in cenozoic basalts from eastern China

Some-geological problems and solid-liquid equilibria in petrogenetic processes are discussed in the light of olivine chemistry based on 278 analyses of Cenozoic basalts and inclusions therefrom in eastern China. Prospective implications of these results have also been evaluated.     

Model for large strain consolidation with compressible pore fluid

A numerical model, called CCPF1 (C onsolidation with C ompressible P ore F luid 1 ), is presented for one‐dimensional large strain consolidation of a saturated porous medium with compressible pore fluid. The algorithm includes all the capabilities of a previous large strain consolidation code, CS2, written for incompressible pore fluid. In addition, fluid density and fluid viscosity are functions of fluid pressure in CCPF1. Generalization of the numerical approach to accommodate these functions requires several modifications to the CS2 method, including phase relationships, intrinsic permeability, pore pressure, fluid potential, and mass flux. Inertial forces are neglected and isothermal conditions are assumed. The development of CCPF1 is first presented, followed by an example that illustrates the effects of pore fluid compressibility on the mechanics of consolidation of saturated porous media. 广西气象部门用友A＋＋财务管理软件系统之研究

用友A＋＋财务管理软件系统是气象部f-j2009年新推出的财务管理软件,较之以前使用的财务管理系统新增加了许多功能。通过对这一系统的研究,把握了高效使用该系统的方法,同时提出了进一步完善A＋＋财务管理系统的看法。     

利用MATLAB实现FY-3/MERSI地表温度反演及专题制图

我国新型自主研发的风云三号卫星MERSI(FY-3/MERSI)数据目前多见于试验研究,国家卫星气象中心(NSMC)发布的业务产品中尚缺乏地表温度(land surface temperature,LST)产品.为此,在分析FY-3/MERSI L1级数据HDF5格式及通道特点的基础上,采用Jiménez-Mu(n)oz和Sobrino普适性单通道地表温度反演算法,借助MATLAB编程,实现了直接利用MERSI数据进行250 m空间分辨率的LST反演与专题制图.详细介绍了LST反演算法的参数化流程,包括辐射定标、云检测处理以及地表比辐射率和大气水汽含量的估计等,并在反演LST的基础上,计算其他衍生指标,建立了FY-3/MERSI数据反演LST及制图流程.对上海市空间热环境监测分析的实验结果表明:该方法能根据设定范围对FY-3/MERSI L1数据进行快速、实时和自动处理,适用于业务化产品制作与共享,节省人力资源;形式丰富的MERSI专题制图产品可更直观、精细地揭示出上海城市热场空间格局与热岛效应特征.     

辽宁中尺度数值模式产品和 T213产品对比检验分析

利用国家级的气象预报产品质量客观检验评价系统,对辽宁中尺度模式预报MM5和T213数值预报的结果分别进行检验分析.检验类型分为历史资料检验和实时资料检验,检验要素包括地面降水、气温和高空500 hPa环流.检验结果显示,对于降水、气温的预报MM5模式预报检验结果优于T213数值预报,而对于500 hPa环流的检验结果T213更可信.     

利用存储过程实现MSSQL数据的网络异地备份

结合对手机气象短信数据库及自动站数据库维护的实际工作经验,总结出利用数据库存储过程、数据库作业等,通过网络实现数据库资料的自动异地备份方法,并详细介绍了编写存储过程的语法要点及数据库作业调度的具体实现。     

基于GIS的西平县土地利用变化分析

在遥感和地理信息系统软件支持下,通过2002年的ETM＋和2007年的CBERS遥感图像分析,利用马尔科夫链的元胞自动机模型与构建土地利用适宜性图层,模拟西平县2012年土地利用变化。结果表明：到2012年,西平县城镇及工矿用地将在原有基础上向四周辐射发展,交通运输用地将在原来基础上拓宽,村镇居民点及公路周围的耕地将减少,林地、其他用地也将减少。
