The aim of this study was to evaluate the biosorption capacity of selected strains of microscopic fungi. We optimized the biosorption process and used the Freundlich isotherm for three strains: H. haematococca BwIII43, K37 and T. harzianum BsIII33 to describe the biosorption equilibrium of anthraquinone dye, Alizarin Blue Black B (ABBB) and alkali lignin (AL). In optimal conditions (1 g of mycelium biomass, pH = 7.0, 28 °C) for ABBB and AL sorption, the live biomass of H. haematococca BwIII43 was characterized by a higher sorption capacity, amounting to 247.47 and 161.00 mg g?1, respectively. The highest sorption properties toward anthraquinone dye (K F = 19.96 mg g?1) were shown for the biomass of H. haematococca K37. In the presence of alkali lignin, the highest sorption capacity and bond strength exhibited the biomass of H. haematococca BwIII43 (K F = 28.20 mg g?1, n = 3.46). Effective decolorization of ABBB and AL by the selected strains of microscopic fungi indicated that the biosorption process additionally enhanced the removal of color compounds from the solution. 相似文献

The main trends of water dissolution in Fe-bearing olivine have been investigated in the olivine–H2O–hydrocarbon fluid system in experiments at a pressure of 6.3 GPa, a temperature of 1200°C, and hydrogen fugacity ( fH2) buffered by the Mo–MoO2 equilibrium. The content and contribution of ОH defects of different types in Fe-bearing olivines depend on the composition of reduced fluids in the system. As the fraction of hydrocarbons in the fluid increases, the H2O content in olivine crystals decreases from 900 to 160–180 ppm, while the ОН absorption peaks become lower at high frequencies and occupy a larger part of the infrared spectrum in the low-frequency region. According to the experimental results, even the deepest seated mantle olivines with OH defects were not equilibrated with a fluid rich in light alkanes or oxygenated hydrocarbons. 相似文献

An experimental study of the dissolution of natural and synthetic diamonds in a sulfur-bearing iron melt (Fe0.7S0.3) with high P–T parameters (4 GPa, 1400°С) was performed. The results demonstrated that under these conditions, octahedral crystals with flat faces and rounded tetrahexahedral diamond crystals are transformed into rounded octahedroids, which have morphological characteristics similar to those of natural diamonds from kimberlite. It was suggested that, taking into account the complex history of individual natural diamond crystals, including the dissolution stages, sulfur-bearing metal melts up to sulfide melts were not only diamond-forming media during the early evolution of the Earth, but also natural solvents of diamond in the mantle environment before the formation of kimberlitic melts. 相似文献

Health risks of heavy metals in vegetables irrigated with sewage water were investigated in the present study. The findings indicated a massive accumulation of heavy metals in soil and vegetables collected from Dera Ismail khan, Pakistan. The concentration levels of heavy metal in vegetables grown on soil irrigated with untreated sewage water were significantly higher at (P ≤ 0.001) than in vegetables grown on fresh-water-irrigated soil and proceeded the recommended limits of World health organization. Moreover, the findings also indicated that the adults and children consuming such vegetables ingested a large proportion of the selected toxic metals. Health risk index was greater than one for Pb and Cd in all the selected vegetables and was greater than one for Ni in three vegetables like Spinacia oleracea, Benincasa fistulosa and Lactuca sativa. Health risk assessment would be a useful tool for information regarding any threats of heavy metals contamination in vegetables. 相似文献
