A three-dimensional baroclinic shelf sea model was employed to simulate the seasonal characteristics of the South China Sea (SCS) upper circulation. The results showed that: in summer, an anticyclonic eddy, after its formation between the Bashi Channel and Dongsha Islands in the northeastern SCS, moves southwestward until it disperses slowly. There exists a northward western boundary current along the east shore of the Indo-China Peninsula in the western SCS and an anticyclonic gyre in the southern SCS. But at the end of summer and beginning of autumn, a weak local cyclonic eddy forms in the Nansha Trough, then grows slowly and moves westward till it becomes a cyclonic gyre in the southern SCS in autumn. At the beginning of winter, there exists a cyclonic gyre in the northern and southern SCS, and there is a southward western boundary current along the east shore of the Indo-China Peninsula. But at the end of winter, an anticyclonic eddy grows and moves toward the western boundary after forming in the Nansha Trough. The eddy‘s movement induces a new opposite sign eddy on its eastern side, while the strength of the southward western boundary current gets weakened. This phenomenon continues till spring and causes eddies in the southern SCS.  相似文献

In order to understand the process of surface erosion and acquire basic data of conditions on hillslope without vege tation, a sprinkling experiment is conducted on a bare slope in Mt. Tanakami in the central part of Japan. Based on the mea surements of runoff, mean soil erosion depth, and sediment yield, etc. , the results suggest the following characteristics in the process of surface erosion in the experimental area. (1) The occurrence of sediment discharge is interrupted; (2) Surface runoff is a saturated overland flow; (3) The mean soil erosion depth is thick compared with other areas in Mt. Biological soil crusts greatly affect soil surface properties, which, in turn, may alter seed germination of vascular plants. We investigated the effects of two types of biological soil crusts (moss crust and algal crust) at different ages on the seed germination of Bassia dasyphylla and Artemisia ordosica. We also investigated the effects of crust conditions (living crust and dead crust) on seed germination of B. dasyphylla, A. ordosica and Eragrostis poaeoides. The presence of both algal and moss crusts significantly enhanced the germination of B. dasyphylla and A. ordosica compared with uncrusted soil. Crust age had no significant effect on the germination of either B. dasyphylla or A. ordosica for both moss and algal crusts. Germination of B. dasyphylla differed significantly between moss and algal crusts, but germination of both A. ordosica and E. poaeoides did not. Germination of A. ordosica, E. poaeoides and B. dasyphylla was significantly higher on living algal crust than on dead crust and uncrusted soil, while living moss crust enhanced the germination of both A. ordosica and B. dasyphylla but had no significant effect on E. poaeoides.  相似文献

Landslide susceptibility mapping is an indispensable prerequisite for landslide prevention and reduction. At present, research into landslide susceptibility mapping has begun to combine machine learning with remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) techniques. The random forest model is a new integrated classification method, but its application to landslide susceptibility mapping remains limited. Landslides represent a serious threat to the lives and property of people living in the Zigui–Badong area in the Three Gorges region of China, as well as to the operation of the Three Gorges Reservoir. However, the geological structure of this region is complex, involving steep mountains and deep valleys. The purpose of the current study is to produce a landslide susceptibility map of the Zigui–Badong area using a random forest model, multisource data, GIS, and remote sensing data. In total, 300 pre-existing landslide locations were obtained from a landslide inventory map. These landslides were identified using visual interpretation of high-resolution remote sensing images, topographic and geologic data, and extensive field surveys. The occurrence of landslides is closely related to a series of environmental parameters. Topographic, geologic, Landsat-8 image, raining data, and seismic data were used as the primary data sources to extract the geo-environmental factors influencing landslides. Thirty-four layers of causative factors were prepared as predictor variables, which can mainly be categorized as topographic, geological, hydrological, land cover, and environmental trigger parameters. The random forest method is an ensemble classification technique that extends diversity among the classification trees by resampling the data with replacement and randomly changing the predictive variable sets during the different tree induction processes. A random forest model was adopted to calculate the quantitative relationships between the landslide-conditioning factors and the landslide inventory map and then generate a landslide susceptibility map. The analytical results were compared with known landslide locations in terms of area under the receiver operating characteristic curve. The random forest model has an area ratio of 86.10%. In contrast to the random forest (whole factors, WF), random forest (12 major factors, 12F), decision tree (WF), decision tree (12F), the final result shows that random forest (12F) has a higher prediction accuracy. Meanwhile, the random forest models have higher prediction accuracy than the decision tree model. Subsequently, the landslide susceptibility map was classified into five classes (very low, low, moderate, high, and very high). The results demonstrate that the random forest model achieved a reasonable accuracy in landslide susceptibility mapping. The landslide hazard zone information will be useful for general development planning and landslide risk management.  相似文献

以2005-008年发生在北京飞行管制区范围内的18例晴空颠簸为样本,在普查颠簸发生时天气形势的基础上,对造成华北地区晴空颠簸的天气形势进行分类,分为高空急流型、高空槽线型、切变线型和高空脊型.并结合卫星云图,归纳总结了每类晴空颠簸的特点和预报着眼点.通过对2006年1月2日发生在华北地区的一次飞机颠簸过程进行诊断分析,结果表明:在高空急流区边缘风切变较大及与高空急流相联系的等温线密集区边缘温度梯度较大的区域易产生颠簸.飞机颠簸的发生, 是温度平流通过在高空急流附近的等温线密集区边缘所激发出的垂直运动引起.  相似文献

摘要:目前贵州在短时临近降水预报客观算法方面研究匮乏,而短时强降水常常给贵州造成严重的洪涝灾害和地质灾害。将短时临近降水预报应用于气象防灾减灾、电网输电线路安全预警、水利防洪自动化方面是未来重要的研究应用方向。本文基于灾害天气短时临近系统(Severe Weather Automatic Nowcast System,SWAN)的定量降水预报(QPF)产品进行0~2小时QPF外推试验研究。利用贵州省地面自动站数据、SWAN 输出的1h-QPF产品、SWAN 1h定量降水估测(QPE)产品。选取2018年3次典型暴雨个例进行试验,采用融合订正技术,利用相似离度算法对降水强度位相进行调整、Weibull分布算法对降水极值分布进行订正、改进后的交叉相关法(Improved Cross-correlation Extrapolation Method,COTREC)进行降水外推预报。通过主客观检验对比,初步说明基于Weibull分布算法的降水极值订正对降水极值分布有很好的模拟效果。融合订正外推的贵州省短时临近定量降水预报产品(Nowcasting precipitation forecast of GuiZhou,下文简写为GZ_NPF)在大于5mm以上量级降水的TS检验中评分更高。GZ_NPF的空报率明显降低,但空报率降低的代价是漏报率相对提高。GZ_NPF总的相对误差减小,格点总降水量与实况总降水量更为接近。试验说明新的融合订正外推算法提高了0~2h短时临近降水的预报能力。  相似文献

广东省海岸表层沉积物中的重矿物近40种。含量较高的有钛铁矿、赤矿铁、磁铁矿、话石、电气石、黑云母和普通角闪石等。自生矿物主要为硬石膏、自然铜、黄铁矿及菱铁矿。这些矿物来自附近的母岩。根据物源性质不同,可将不同岸段重矿物区分为陆源矿物组合、近源-自生矿物组合和近源矿物组合三种:除物源控制外,重矿物含量、种类、形态特征及其在平面上的分布主要受沉积环境影响。据此,可将重矿物分布类型划分为河口型、海湾型和海岛型三类,且与上述不同矿物组合性质相对应。  相似文献
