Summary Bastnaesites of Ce and La and their OH-analogs were synthesized and their stability relations were determined atPf = 1 kbar andT = 400 to 900°C in a part of the system (Ce,La)-F-H-C-0. The initial fluid compositions were such that and HF/(HF + H2O) ratios were 0 to 0.172. XRD and IR studies indicate that bastnaesites equilibrated in initial fluids low in HF are all F-enriched. The hydroxylbastnaesite-(La) is stable up to 810°C and the fluorbastnaesite-(La) is stable up to 860°C. Their condensed breakdown products are La2O2CO3 and LaOF, respectively. The stability of Ce bastnaesites is slightly dependent. The hydroxylbastnaesite-(Ce) is stable up to 660°C at the defined by the IQF buffer and up to 640°C by the MH buffer. The fluorbastnaesite-(Ce) is stable up to 800°C at the defined by the IQF and up to 760°C by the MH buffer. The condensed breakdown product for the hydroxyl end-member is simply CeO2 but for the fluorine one is a combination of CeO2, CeF3, and CeOF. Factors, such as OH vs F, , and bulk composition, that affect the stability of individual species are discussed. Petrogenic implications resulting from the present study include that bastnaesites can be stable from hydrothermal to magmatic conditions, that F-enriched species can form in an environment relatively low in F content, and that OH-species are rare and occur only in low-temperature environments essentially devoid of F.
Synthese und Stabilität von Bastndsil in einem Teil des Systems (Ce,La)-F-H-C-O
Zusammenfassung Ce- und La-Bastnäsite, sowie deren OH-Analoga wurden synthetisiert und ihre Stabilitätsbeziehunger beiP f = 1 kbar undT = 400 bis 900°C wurden im System (Ce,La)F-H-C-O bestimmt. Die anfänglichen Flüssigkeitszusammensetzungen waren so, daß und die HF/(HF + H2O)-Verhältnisse 0–0.172 waren. Röntgenpulver- und Ultrarot-Untersuchungen zeigten, daß Bastnäsite, die mit anfänglich HF-armen Flüssigkeiten equilibriert wurden, alle an F angereichert sind. Hydroxilbastndsit-(La) ist bis 810°C und Fluorbastnäsit-(La) bis 860°C stabil. Ihre festen Zersetzungsprodukte sind La2O2O3, bzw. LaOF. Die Stabilität der Ce-Bastnäsite hängt etwas von ab. Hydroxilbastnäsit-(Ce) ist bei des Eisen-Quarz-Fayalit-Puffers bis 660°C stabil und mit Magnetit-Hämatit-Puffer bis 640°C. Das feste Zerfallsprodukt ist für das Hydroxil-Glied nur CeO2, für das Fluor-Glied eine Mischung aus CeO2, CeF3 und CeOF. Faktoren, welche die Stabilität der einzelnen Spezies beeinflussen, werden diskutiert, wie das Verhältnis OH zu F, und die Gesamtzusammensetzung. Petrogenetische Folgerungen aus der vorliegenden Studie schließen ein, daß Bastnäsite von hydrothermalen bis zu magmatischen Bedingungen stabil sein können, daß sich an F angereicherte Glieder in relativ F-armer Umgebung bilden können, und daß OH-Glieder selten sind und nur unter Bildungsbedingungen niedriger Temperatur und weitgehender Abwesenheit von F auftreten.

The increasing natural disasters, especially floods during the last quarter century, are raising the economic losses in Taiwan. The most severe hazard in Taiwan is flooding induced by typhoons and storms in summer and autumn. By comparing the rivers around the world, the ones in Taiwan have the steepest slopes, the largest discharge per unit drainage area, and the shortest time of concentrations. Rapid urbanization without proper land uses managements usually worsen the flood problems. Consequently, flood hazards mitigation has become the most essential task for Taiwan to deal with. Although the government keeps improving flood defense structures, the flood damage grows continuously. In this article, possible flood mitigation strategies are identified for coping with complex environmental and social decisions with flood risk involved.  相似文献

Midstream of the Keelung River Basin in Northern Taiwan has become highly urbanized and densely populated area. Flood inundation along riversides frequently occurred during typhoons or rainstorms. Three protection measures, including constructions of high-level protection levees, a diversion channel, and a detention reservoir, were proposed for flood mitigation. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the flood mitigation performance of the three proposed structural measures by using combined hydrologic analyses and hydraulic routings. A semi-distributed parallel-type linear reservoirs rainfall-runoff model was used for estimating the surface runoff. Furthermore, a 1-D dynamic channel routing model was coupled with a two-dimensional inundation model to simulate the hydraulic characteristics of river flooding and overland flow. Simulation results of flood stages, runoff peak discharges, and inundation extent under design rainfall scenarios were chosen as the criteria for evaluation. The results showed a diversion channel is superior to the other two measures for flood mitigation of the study area. After the process of environmental impact assessment, a revised diversion channel approach has been approved for construction as the major structural measure.  相似文献

The mode of occurrence of gold in the Yata micro-disseminated gold deposit is ap-proached through chemical phase studies coupled with ore-dressing monitoring and micro-beam analysis.The results showed that gold occurred for the most part as ultra-microscopic particles adsorbed on the surfaces or fracture planes of pyrite and other sulphides.The proportions of gold of different occurrences were estimated solutions containing nanometer-sized gold particles were prepared following the hydrolysis-reduction procedure and the adsorption of nanometer-sized gold on ordinary sulphides and rocks was experimentally determined.It is evident that sulphides are good adsorbents of gold and this is consistent with geological observations.  相似文献

One of the most important environmental impacts resulting from opencast mining, and especially quarries, is the visual impact. Evaluation of this impact considers two aspects: first, the area occupied by the quarry as seen by an observer from a specific place, and, second, the chromatic contrast existing between landscape and exploitation. In this study we develop a methodology to assess the chromatic impact in an objective and comparable form. To assess this impact we developed a method based on image analysis that allows us to obtain from a picture or image its equivalent as a function of chromatic impact, according to the sensibility of the human eye to different wavelengths. The methodology was applied to the Martinenca limestone quarry (Alcanar, Tarragona) and to Cerro Kori Kollo mine, La Joya district (Bolivia).  相似文献

In this paper, MSMR geophysical products like Integrated Water Vapour (IWV), Ocean Surface Wind Speed (OWS) and Cloud Liquid Water (CLW) in different grids of 50, 75 and 150 kms are compared with similar products available from other satellites like DMSP-SSM/I and TRMMTMI. MSMR derived IWV, OWS and CLW compare well with SSM/I and TMI finished products. Comparison of MSMR derived CLW with that derived from TMI and SSM/I is relatively in less agreement. This is possibly due to the use of 37 GHz in SSM/I and TMI that is highly sensitive to CLW, while 37 GHz channels are not available on MSMR. Monthly comparison of MSMR geophysical products with those from TMI is all carried out for climatological purpose. The monthly comparisons were much better compared to instantaneous comparisons. In this paper, details of the data analysis and comparison results are presented. The usefulness of the MSMR vis-à-vis other sensors is also discussed.  相似文献
