The tectonics and metallogeny of the junction zone between the North Asian craton and Pacific tectonic belt are considered. This zone is characterized by a wide variety of structures superposed on the metamorphic basement, which was formed in the course of a multistage geologic development of the craton from the Precambrian to the Cenozoic. They are related to the craton evolution and its response to the collision and subduction processes in the adjacent orogenic belt, processes in the passive and active continental margins, and plume magmatism. The geological structure of the region includes blocks of metamorphic rocks of the Aldan–Stanovoi shield, Paleoproterozoic volcanogenic troughs, Mesoproterozoic–Neoproterozoic and Early Paleozoic structures of the platform cover, Late Paleozoic volcanic and terrigenous troughs, structures of the Late Mesozoic Okhotsk–Chukotka volcanic belt of the active continental margin, and Late Cretaceous riftogenic structures formed in response to plume magmatism. In total, six metallogenic epochs are recognized in the development of ore mineralization: Archean–Early Paleoproterozoic, Late Paleoproterozoic, Mesoproterozoic, Neoproterozoic, Late Paleozoic, and Late Mesozoic. The minerageny of the junction zone between the craton and Pacific belt is highly diversified, being characterized by distinct evolution in time and space. Each development stage features its own set of mineral resources.  相似文献

The sway, heave and roll added masses of three uniform cylinders with semi-circular, rectangular and triangular cross-sectional shapes in shallow and narrow water are numerically analysed. The method is based on simulation of the potential flow induced by the cylinder's mode of motion. The effects of shallow and narrow water on added mass are analysed and presented. It is concluded that the shallow and narrow water effects on added mass depend on the different cross-section shapes of the cylinders. In particular, the water depth effect on sway added mass is stronger than that on heave added mass while the narrow water effect on sway is weaker than that on heave. The shallow water effect on added mass tends to weaken the narrow water effect. Lastly the effect of shallow and narrow water on added mass on a rectangular cylinder is the strongest while that on a triangular cylinder is the weakest.  相似文献

Large organic falls to the benthic environment, such as dead wood or whale bones, harbour organisms relying on sulfide-oxidizing symbionts. Nothing is known however, concerning sulfide enrichment at the wood surface and its relation to wood colonization by sulfide-oxidizing symbiotic organisms.In this study we combined in situ hydrogen sulfide and pH measurements on sunken wood, with associated fauna microscopy analyses in a tropical mangrove swamp. This shallow environment is known to harbour thiotrophic symbioses and is also abundantly supplied with sunken wood. A significant sulfide enrichment at the wood surface was revealed. A 72 h sequence of measurements emphasized the wide fluctuation of sulfide levels (0.1–>100 μM) over time with both a tidal influence and rapid fluctuations. Protozoans observed on the wood surface were similar to Zoothamnium niveum and to vorticellids. Our SEM observations revealed their association with ectosymbiotic bacteria, which are likely to be sulfide-oxidizers. These results support the idea that sunken wood surfaces constitute an environment suitable for sulfide-oxidizing symbioses.  相似文献

Alfvénic waves are thought to play an important role in coronal heating and solar wind acceleration. Here we investigate the dissipation of standing Alfvén waves due to phase mixing at the presence of steady flow and sheared magnetic field in the stratified atmosphere of solar spicules. The transition region between chromosphere and corona has also been considered. The initial flow is assumed to be directed along spicule axis, and the equilibrium magnetic field is taken 2-dimensional and divergence-free. It is determined that in contrast to propagating Alfvén waves, standing Alfvén waves dissipate in time rather than in space. Density gradients and sheared magnetic fields can enhance damping due to phase mixing. Damping times deduced from our numerical calculations are in good agreement with spicule lifetimes. Since spicules are short living and transient structures, such a fast dissipation mechanism is needed to transport their energy to the corona.  相似文献

Rate coefficients for the association reactions of NO+ ions with N2 and CO2, O2+ with N2, and N+ and N2+ with N2 have been determined as a function of gas temperature in a laboratory experiment employing a variable-temperature drift-tube apparatus. The measured rate coefficients were fitted to power laws of the form k = C (T300)x where the exponents x ranged from 2.2 to 4.3. The strong temperature dependence observed in the case of the reaction of NO+ with N2 (x = 4.3) supports the thesis by Arnold et al. (1979) that the temperature variability of D-region ion densities is a result of this reaction step in the ion clustering sequence.  相似文献

Eclipsing binary TX UMa was observed with the D.A.O. high-dispersion spectrographs in 1969–1970, with emphasis on the detailed coverage of the primary minimum. One spectrum was taken exclusively within totality, thus exhibiting an uncontaminated spectrum of the secondary component. This leads to spectral reclassification of the secondary (F6 IV). The narrowing of the line profile of the H-line in totality is interpreted in terms of synchronous rotation of the secondary (v sini80 km s–1) while the primary rotates faster (v sini130 km s–1) than synchronously (v sini50 km s–1). Although the secondary does not fill in its Roche lobe fully, the system exhibits pronounced indications of rather strong physical interaction. This is now supported also by the profound changes of the line profiles of the H-line with phase.  相似文献

It has become clear in recent years that relativistic beaming is a good explanation for the BL Lac phenomenon. Of studies based on the relativistic beaming model of BL Lac objects, we note that the orientation of jet's axis to the line-of-sight is very small and, therefore, the observed flux emitted from a rapidly moving source is orders of magnitude higher than the flux in its rest-frame:F obs = 3 + F intr, where is the bulk relativistic Doppler factor. Then the observed apparent magnitudem v must be corrected for this effect. For our 39 samples, the corrected apparent magnitudem v corr and logZ have a good correlation.  相似文献

We discuss the life-story of a transequatorial loop system which interconnected the newly born active region McMath 12474 with the old region 12472. The loop system was probably born through reconnection accomplished 1.5 to 5 days after the birth of 12474 and the loops were observed in soft X-rays for at least 1.5 days. Transient sharpenings of the interconnection and a striking brightening of the whole loop system for about 6 hr appear to be caused by magnetic field variations in the region 12474. A flare might have been related to the brightening, but only in an indirect way: the same emerging flux could have triggered the flare and at the same time strengthened the magnetic field at the foot-points of the loops. Electron temperature in the loop system, equal to 2.1 × 106 K in its quiet phase, increased to 3.1 × 106 K during the brightening. Electron density in the loop system was 1.3 × 109 cm–3 and it could be estimated to 7 × 108 cm–3 prior to the brightening. During the brightening the loops became twisted. There was no obvious effect whatsoever of the activity in 12474 upon the in erconnected old region. The final decay of the loop system reflected the decay of magnetic field in the region 12474.  相似文献
