This article is a preliminary summary of Paleogene biostratigraphy of the Liguanqiao, Tantou andYuanqu basins, with a new proposal for Paleogene paleobiogeographic provinces of China. On the basis of asynthetic analysis of the geological data, characters of the mammalian assemblages and their comparisons withother corresponding faunas, a new scheme on Paleogene biostratigraphic subdivision of the basins has been putforward here. Based on differences of biostratigraphic sequences, characteristics of mammalian assemblagesand directions of faults controlling Paleogene basins in China, six Paleogene paleobiogeographic provinces ofChina have been proposed in this paper, that is: Tianshan-Yinshan-Tumen Province; Tarim-North China Prov-ince; Kunlun-Qinling Province, Yangtze Province, Nanling and Southeastern Coastal Province, Qinghai andTibet Province. 相似文献

The correlations between large earthquakes in China continent and periodicities of the Moon's movement and the solar activity are statistically analysed and the following points are revealed:1. Soil moisture simulation and prediction in semi-arid regions are important for agricultural production,soil conservation and climate change.However,considerable heterogeneity in the spatial distribution of soil moisture,and poor ability of distributed hydrological models to estimate it,severely impact the use of soil moisture models in research and practical applications.In this study,a newly-developed technique of coupled(WA-ANN) wavelet analysis(WA) and artificial neural network(ANN) was applied for a multi-layer soil moisture simulation in the Pailugou catchment of the Qilian Mountains,Gansu Province, China.Datasets included seven meteorological factors:air and land surface temperatures,relative humidity,global radiation, atmospheric pressure,wind speed,precipitation,and soil water content at 20,40,60,80,120 and 160 cm.To investigate the effectiveness of WA-ANN,ANN was applied by itself to conduct a comparison.Three main findings of this study were:(1) ANN and WA-ANN provided a statistically reliable and robust prediction of soil moisture in both the root zone and deepest soil layer studied(NSE >0.85,NSE means Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency coefficient);(2) when input meteorological factors were transformed using maximum signal to noise ratio(SNR) and one-dimensional auto de-noising algorithm(heursure) in WA, the coupling technique improved the performance of ANN especially for soil moisture at 160 cm depth;(3) the results of multi-layer soil moisture prediction indicated that there may be different sources of water at different soil layers,and this can be used as an indicator of the maximum impact depth of meteorological factors on the soil water content at this study site.We conclude that our results show that appropriate simulation methodology can provide optimal simulation with a minimum distortion of the raw-time series;the new method used here is applicable to soil sciences and management applications. 相似文献

Assessing the fatigue life of mooring systems is important for deep water structures. In this paper, a comprehensive fatigue analysis is conducted on the mooring lines applied in a semi-submersible platform with special focus on the low frequency (LF) fatigue damage. Several influential factors, including water depth, wave spectral parameters, and riser system, are considered. Numerical simulation of a semi-submersible platform with the mooring/riser system is executed under different conditions, and the fatigue damage of mooring lines is assessed by using the time domain analysis method as a benchmark. The effects of these factors on the mooring line tension and the fatigue damage are investigated and discussed in detail. Research results indicate that the LF fatigue damage only accounts for a very small portion of the total damage, although the LF components dominate the global motion response and the mooring line tension of the semi-submersible platform. However, it is demonstrated that the LF fatigue damage is clearly affected by the influential factors. The increase in water depth and spectral peak periods, and the existence of risers can weaken the contribution of the LF components to the mooring line fatigue damage, while the fatigue damage due to the LF components increases with the increase of significant wave height. 相似文献
