We have been studying direct current glow discharges aiming at the production of different paint of coatings on steel substrates. In a set of preliminary experiments, long lasting (hours) discharges performed in a Nitrogen atmosphere between a stell anode (holding the substrates) and a titanium cathode separated by a small gap (few mm) produced very thin coatings of the substrates whose colour depend on the parameter of (interelectrodes gap, gas pressure, discharge current and time duration). In some conditions, the coatings showed a golden colour, typical of the Nti compound. A discussion of the results is given. 相似文献

This study presents the results of a three‐dimensional variable‐density numerical modelling of the Motril‐Salobreña coastal aquifer and the possible effects of the entry into service in May 2005 of the Rules Dam, located just 17 km from the coast. Present parameters of the Motril‐Salobreña aquifer show that the system's conditions are very similar to a natural regime. The dam will substantially alter aquifer recharge, as the entry flow through the alluvial sediments of the Guadalfeo River will be entirely cut off or drastically reduced. Different scenarios reproducing the possible evolution of the aquifer under operation of the Rules Dam have been modelled. In most cases, results indicate that the conditions of the aquifer would worsen, with a general advance of the freshwater–saltwater interface. The area with most risk of saltwater intrusion is the old mouth of the Guadalfeo River, where the mixing zone could advance 1200 m inland. It is proposed that maintaining a 5–6 Mm3 year?1 ‘ecological flow’ in the Guadalfeo River could prevent this saline advance. This application demonstrates that variable‐density models are potentially useful tools for estimating the effects of dams on the hydrodynamic and hydrochemical conditions of a coastal aquifer. Northeastern Mexico hosts numerous epigenetic stratabound carbonate-hosted low-temperature hydrothermal deposits of celestine, fluorite, barite and zinc-lead, which formed by replacement of Mesozoic evaporites or carbonate rocks. Such deposits can be permissively catalogued as Mississippi Valley-type (MVT) deposits. The deposits studied in the state of Coahuila are associated with granitic and metasedimentary basement highs (horsts) marginal or central to the Mesozoic Sabinas Basin. These horsts controlled the stratigraphy of the Mesozoic basins and subsequently influenced the Laramide structural pattern. The Sabinas Basin consists of ~6,000-m-thick Jurassic to Cretaceous siliciclastic, carbonate and evaporitic series. The MVT deposits are mostly in Barremian and in Aptian-Albian to Cenomanian formations and likely formed from basinal brines that were mobilized during the Laramide orogeny, although earlier diagenetic replacement of evaporite layers (barite and celestine deposits) and lining of paleokarstic cavities in reef carbonates (Zn–Pb deposits) is observed. Fluid inclusion microthermometry and isotopic studies suggest ore formation due to mixing of basinal brines and meteoric water. Homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions range from 45°C to 210°C; salinities range from 0 to 26 wt.% NaCl equiv., and some inclusions contain hydrocarbons or bitumen. Sulfur isotope data suggest that most of the sulfur in barite and celestine is derived from Barremian to Cenomanian evaporites. Regional geology and a compilation of metallogenic features define the new MVT province of northeastern Mexico, which comprises most of the state of Coahuila and portions of the neighboring states of Nuevo León, Durango and, perhaps extends into Zacatecas and southern Texas. This province exhibits a regional metal zonation, with celestine deposits to the south, fluorite deposits to the north and barite and Zn–Pb deposits mostly in the central part. 相似文献

The restricted (equilateral) four-body problem consists of three bodies of masses m 1, m 2 and m 3 (called primaries) lying in a Lagrangian configuration of the three-body problem i.e., they remain fixed at the apices of an equilateral triangle in a rotating coordinate system. A massless fourth body moves under the Newtonian gravitation law due to the three primaries; as in the restricted three-body problem (R3BP), the fourth mass does not affect the motion of the three primaries. In this paper we explore symmetric periodic orbits of the restricted four-body problem (R4BP) for the case of two equal masses where they satisfy approximately the Routh’s critical value. We report and shortly discuss here the observational work carried out in order to test the possibility that two previously
detected radio sources, in the vicinity of the well known microquasar Cygnus X-3, could be hot spot tracers of interaction
between its relativistic jet and the interstellar medium (ISM). The motivation behind this search is in part justified considering
recent theoretical models of high energy γ-ray emission which strongly rely on the interaction sites of galactic relativistic jets with nearby ISM clouds.
The results presented in this paper include an improved radio exploration of the several arc-minute field around Cygnus X-3
using the Very Large Array (VLA), as well as deep near infrared (NIR) imaging with the Calar Alto 3.5 m telescope. We anticipate
here that our observations do not appear to support the initial hot spot hypothesis. Instead, the resulting images suggest

Abstract— D'Orbigny is an exceptional angrite. Chemically, it resembles other angrites such as Asuka‐881371, Sahara 99555, Lewis Cliff (LEW) 87051, and LEW 86010, but its structure and texture are peculiar. It has a compact and porous lithology, abundant glasses, augite‐bearing druses, and chemical and mineralogical properties that are highly unusual for igneous rocks. Our previous studies led us to a new view on angrites: they can possibly be considered as CAIs that grew to larger sizes than the ones we know from carbonaceous chondrites. Thus, angrites may bear a record of rare and special conditions in some part of the early solar nebula. Here we report trace element contents of D'Orbigny phases. Trace element data were obtained from both the porous and the compact part of this meteorite. We have confronted our results with the popular igneous genetic model. According to this model, if all phases of D'Orbigny crystallized from the same system, as an igneous origin implies, a record of this genesis should be expressed in the distribution of trace elements among early and late phases. Our results show that the trace element distribution of the two contemporaneous phases olivine and plagioclase, which form the backbone of the rock, seem to require liquids of different composition. Abundances of highly incompatible elements in all olivines, including the megacrysts, indicate disequilibrium with the bulk rock and suggest liquids very rich in these elements (>10,000 x CI), which is much richer than any fractional crystallization could possibly produce. In addition, trace element contents of late phases are incompatible with formation from the bulk system's residual melt. These results add additional severe constraints to the many conflicts that existed previously between an igneous model for the origin of angrites and the mineralogical and chemical observations. This new trace element content data, reported here, corroborate our previous results based on the shape, structure, mineralogy, chemical, and isotopic data of the whole meteorite, as well as on a petrographic and chemical composition study of all types of glasses and give strength to a new genetic model that postulates that D'Orbigny (and possibly all angrites) could have formed in the solar nebula under changing redox conditions, more akin to chondritic constituents (e.g., CAIs) than to planetary differentiated rock. 相似文献
