Concentrations of halogens (fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine) were determined in six geochemical reference materials (BHVO‐2, GS‐N, JG‐1, JR‐1, JB‐1b, JB‐2). Halogens were first extracted from powdered samples using a pyrohydrolysis technique, then hydrolysis solutions were analysed by ion chromatography for F and Cl and inductively coupled plasma‐mass spectrometry for Br and I. The detection limits in solutions were 100 μg l?1 for both F and Cl and 10 ng l?1 for Br and I. Considering the extraction procedure, performed on a maximum of 500 mg of sample and producing 100 ml of pyrohydrolysis solution, detection limits in rock samples were 20 mg kg?1 for F and Cl and 2 μg kg?1 for Br and I. The mean analytical errors on the studied composition ranges were estimated at 10 mg kg?1 for F and Cl, 100 μg kg?1 for Br and 25 μg kg?1 for I. The concentration values, based on repeated (generally > 10) sample analysis, were in good agreement generally with published values and narrowed the mean dispersion around mean values. Large dispersions are discussed in terms of samples heterogeneity and contaminations during sample preparation. Basaltic RMs were found to be more suitable for studies of halogen compositions than differentiated rock material, especially granites – the powders of which were heterogeneous in halogens at the 500 mg level.  相似文献

Résumé La partie systématique des différences entre les positions des cratères de plusieurs catalogues est développée en harmoniques sphériques. L'application du test en 2 détermine l'ordre du développement. La méthode a été appliquée pour comparer le système de référence de Arthur avec les catalogues de Schrutka-Rechtenstamm et Gavrilov. On obtient les surfacesf (l, b) des différences systématiques de ces catalogues. La zone centrale de la face visible de la lune (± 40° en latitude et longitude) est bien déterminée, mais la zone marginale présente des différences systématiques qui peuvent atteindre le kilomètre.
The systematic part of the differences between positions in crater catalogues is expanded into spherical harmonics. The application of the 2 test determines the highest order of the expansion. The method was applied to compare the Arthur System with the Schrutka-Rechtenstamm and Gavrilov catalogues. The surfacesf (l, b) of systematic differences from these catalogues were obtained. The central zone of the near side of the Moon (± 40° in latitude and longitude) is well determined but the marginal zone presents systematic differences that can be as large as one kilometer.

Abstract— Two spherical targets made of gabbro with a radius of 25 cm and of steel with a radius of 10 cm were irradiated isotropically with 1600 MeV protons at the SATURNE synchrotron at Laboratoire National Saturne (LNS)/CEN Saclay, in order to simulate the production of nuclides in meteorites induced by galactic cosmic‐ray protons in space. These experiments supply depth‐dependent production rate data for a wide range of radioactive and stable isotopes in up to 28 target elements. In this paper, we report results for 78Kr, 80–86Kr isotopes in Rb, Sr, Y and Zr and for 124Xe, 126Xe, 128–132Xe, 134Xe, 136Xe isotopes in Ba and La. Krypton and xenon concentrations have been measured at different depths in the spheres by using conventional mass spectrometry. Based on Monte‐Carlo techniques, theoretical production rates are calculated by folding depth‐dependent spectra of primary and secondary protons and secondary neutrons with the excitation functions of the relevant nuclear reactions. The comparison of the model calculation results with experimental data in the thick target experiments performed at LNS and previously at CERN have allowed adjustments of the poorly known excitation functions of neutron‐induced reactions. Thus, for the two experiments at SATURNE, excellent agreement is obtained between experimental and calculated production rates for most Kr and Xe isotopes in all investigated target elements. Only Xe production in Ba in the gabbro is underestimated by the calculations by ?25%. This work validates the approach of the thin‐target model calculations of cosmogenic nuclide production rates in the attempt of modeling the interaction of galactic cosmic‐ray protons with stony and iron meteorites in space as well as with lunar samples.  相似文献

What are relevant urban development investment strategies for improving building energy efficiency (BEE) and decarbonizing the urban district heating supply in rapidly urbanizing China? Different trajectories of BEE and energy supply technologies are compared in the urban context in a northern Chinese city. Vigorous improvement of BEE will significantly enhance the prospective financial capacity to facilitate deployment of backstop technologies (e.g. carbon capture and storage) in order to decarbonize the energy supply and achieve the long-term targets of low-carbon buildings. Carbon finance instruments should be used to facilitate public policy to accompany the necessary transition in the urban development process. The government-run efficiency procurement scheme will overcome the problem of insufficient incentive and high transaction costs associated with individual Clean Development Mechanism projects. Appropriate investment strategies (allocation of financial resources over the time frame) will allow local governments to harness the large potentials of carbon emissions mitigation while minimizing the risk of long-term technical lock-in in the built environment in Chinese cities.  相似文献

Résumé La simplicité du calcul de la réduction au plan est une des qualités pratiques les plus importantes dans toute projection géodésique. Comme les calculs sont à l'heure actuelle entièrement effectués en coordonnés rectangulaires, la réduction au plan demande à être calculée exclusivement à partir des dits éléments: telle est bien du reste la situation en ce qui concerne la projection de Mercator Transverse, communément employée. Pour la projection conique conforme deLambert, officiellement employée pour la triangulation fran?aise, on obtient une formule commode en introduisant l'aire triangulaire comprise entre le sommet de la projection conique (image du p?le) et les stations AB à relier. Le présent acticle justifie cette formule, décrit son application par la section de Géodésie de l'Institut Géographique National, et spécifie les formules de moyenne à employer: cette note forme un ensemble avec l'article suivant deM. Dufour.
Summary Simplicity of calculation in the plane is one of the most important characteristics of any surveyor's projection. Since all calculation is today carried out in terms of rectangular coordinates, any reduction to the plane should involve only these coordinates: and this is, in fact, the situation in the commonly employed Transverse Mercator projection. For theLambert Conical orthomorphic projection, officially used for the French triangulation, a convenient formula is obtained in terms of the area of the triangle formed by the two points concerned and the vertex of the projection (which represents the pole in the plane). This paper justifies the use of the formula; describes its application by the Institut Géographique National; and discusses the different mean value formulae which are suited to the various grades of accuracy desired. This paper should be considered together with that ofM. Dufour.

Zusammenfassung In jeder geod?tischen Projektion besteht das Haupterfordernis für eine praktische Durchführung darin, da? die Berechnung der Reduktionen auf die Ebene m?glichst einfach sei. Da gegenw?rtig alle Rechnungen mit Hilfe von rechtwinkligen Koordinaten durchgeführt werden, mu? die Reduktion auf die Ebene ausschlie?lich von den genannten Elementen ausgehen. So liegen jedenfalls die Dinge bei der gemeinhin verwendeten Transversalen Mercator-Projektion. Für die Lambertsche konforme Kegelprojektion, die amtliche Projektion für das franz?sische Dreiecksnetz, erh?lt man eine zweckdienliche Formel, wenn man die Dreiecksfl?che zwischen dem Scheitelpunkt der Kegelprojektion (Bildpunkt des Poles) und den zu verbindenden Stationen A B benutzt. Der vorliegende Artikel begründet diese Formel, beschreibt ihre Verwendung durch die Geod?tische Abteilung des Franz?sischen Instituts für Geographie (Section de Géodésie de l'Institut Géographique National) und erl?utert die zu verwendenden Mittelwert-Formeln. Der Aufsatz geh?rt mit dem folgenden vonM. Dufour geschriebenen eng zusammen.

Resumen La sencillez del cálculo de la reducción al plano es una de las condiciones prácticas más importantes en toda proyección geodésica. Como actualmente están efectuados los cálculos en coordenadas rectangulares, la reducción al plano exige ser calculada exclusivamente a partir de dichos elementos; tal es por lo demás la situación en lo que concierne a la proyección deMercator Transverse, comúnmente empleada. Para la proyección cónica conforme deLambert, oficialmente empleada para la triangulación francesa, se obtiene una fórmula cómoda introduciendo el área triangular comprendida entre el vértice de la proyección cónica (imagen del polo) y las estaciones A y B a enlazar. El presente articulo justifica esta fórmula, y describe su aplicación por la Sección de Geodesia del Instituto Geogróafico Nacional.

Sommario La semplicità del calcolo delle riduzioni al piano è una delle qualià pratiche più importanti in ogni proiezione geodetica. Poichè attualmente tutti i calcoli di una triangolazione vengono effettuati sul piano, in coordinate rettangolari, è essenziale che tali riduzioni possano avvenire facendo ricorso ai soli elementi piani; come accade in particolare per la proiezione trasversa di Mercatore. Per la proiezione conica conforme diLambert, usata ufficialmente uella triangolazione francese, si ottiene una formula comoda per la riduzione alla corda introducendo l'area del triangolo formalo dall' immagine del polo, e dai due punti da collegare. L'articolo giustifica questa formula, ne descrive la sua applicazione da parte della Sezione Geodetica dell' Istituto Geografico Nazionale, e precisa le formule da impiegare. Esso è collegato con l'articolo seguente del sig.Dufour, col quale forma un tutto unico.

The influence of a hedge surrounding bottomland on soil‐water movement along the hillslope was studied on a plot scale for 28 months. The study was based on the comparison of two transects, one with a hedge, the other without, using mainly a dense grid of tensiometers. The influence of the bottomland hedge was located in the area where tree roots were developed, several metres upslope from the hedge, and could be observed both in the saturated and non‐saturated zone, from May to December. The hedge induced a high rate of soil drying, because of the high evaporative capacity of the trees. We evaluated that water uptake by the hedge during the growing season was at least 100 mm higher than without a hedge. This increased drying rate led to a delayed rewetting of the soils upslope from the hedge in autumn, of about 1 month compared with the situation without a hedge. Several consequences of this delayed rewetting are expected: a delay in the return of subsurface transfer from the hillslope to the riparian zone, a buffering effect of hedges on floods, already observed at the catchment scale, and an increased residence time of pollutants. A comprehensive analysis of velocity data from subsurface floats in the northwestern tropical Atlantic at two depth layers is presented: one representing the Antarctic Intermediate Water (AAIW, pressure range 600–1050 dbar), the other the upper North Atlantic Deep Water (uNADW, pressure range 1200–2050 dbar). New data from three independent research programs are combined with previously available data to achieve blanket coverage in space for the AAIW layer, while coverage in the uNADW remains more intermittent. Results from the AAIW mainly confirm previous studies on the mean flow, namely the equatorial zonal and the boundary currents, but clarify details on pathways, mostly by virtue of the spatial data coverage that sets float observations apart from e.g. shipborne or mooring observations. Mean transports in each of five zonal equatorial current bands is found to be between 2.7 and 4.5 Sv. Pathways carrying AAIW northward beyond the North Brazil Undercurrent are clearly visible in the mean velocity field, in particular a northward transport of 3.7 Sv across 16°N between the Antilles islands and the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. New maps of Lagrangian eddy kinetic energy and integral time scales are presented to quantify mesoscale activity. For the uNADW, mean flow and mesoscale properties are discussed as data availability allows. Trajectories in the uNADW east of the Lesser Antilles reveal interactions between the Deep Western Boundary Current (DWBC) and the basin interior, which can explain recent hydrographic observations of changes in composition of DWBC water along its southward flow.  相似文献
