Slopes composed of stratified and poorly cemented rocks that fail during heavy rainfalls are typical in the outer zone of Taiwan's Western Foothills. This study investigates how hydraulic conductivity anisotropy influences pore water pressure (PWP) distributed in stratified, poorly cemented rock slopes and related slope stability through numerical simulation. The notion of representing thin alternating beds of stratified, poorly cemented rocks as an equivalent anisotropic medium for ground‐water flow analysis in finite slopes was validated. PWP was then derived in a modelled slope comprising an anisotropic medium with suitable boundary conditions. Simulation results indicate the significance of the principal directions of hydraulic conductivity tensor and the anisotropic ratio on PWP estimation for anisotropic finite slopes. For a stratified, poorly cemented rock slope, estimating PWP utilizing a phreatic surface with isotropic and hydrostatic assumptions will yield incorrect results. Stability analysis results demonstrate that hydraulic conductivity anisotropy affects the slope safety factor and slip surface pattern. Consequently, steady‐state groundwater flow analysis is essential for stratified, poorly cemented rock slopes when evaluating PWP distribution and slope stability. Details are presented of an atmospheric Cherenkov telescope for use in very high energy gamma-ray astronomy which consists of a cluster of 109 close-packed photomultiplier tubes at the focus of a 10 meter optical reflector. The images of the Cherenkov flashes generated both by gamma-ray and charged cosmic-ray events are digitized and recorded. Subsequent off-line analysis of the images improves the significance of the signal to noise ratio by a factor of 10 compared with non-imaging techniques. 相似文献

采用不同饲料配方投喂,研究了普通豆粕(对照组)、发酵豆粕和活性菌肽豆蛋白配合饲料对鲫(Carassius auratus)生长性状影响的研究。结果表明,活性菌肽豆蛋白组的相对体重生长率高于对照组41.87%(P<0.01)和发酵豆粕组19.11%;血清中的三碘甲状腺原氨酸(T3)、甲状腺素(T4)、胰岛素样生长因子-I(IGF-I)和生长激素(GH)含量活性菌肽豆蛋白组最高,其次是发酵豆粕组,而对照组最低;实时定量PCR检测显示:IGFs(IGF-I和IGF-II)基因的表达量在活性菌肽豆蛋白组中最高,其次是发酵豆粕组,对照组的表达量最低。GHR基因的表达量在活性菌肽豆蛋白组和发酵豆粕组间无显著性差异,但明显高于对照组。因此,活性菌肽豆蛋白可能通过调控鲫血清GH、IGF-I、T3和T4等激素水平,及肝脏GHR和IGFs基因的表达,进而影响鲫的生长。 相似文献

融雪侵蚀在中国及世界上许多地区都有发生,其对表层土壤的破坏作用越来越为人们所认识,已成为土壤侵蚀研究中的重要问题之一。在总结相关研究成果的基础上,分析了影响积雪和融雪的气候、海拔、地形地貌及土地利用等因素。在融雪侵蚀影响因素方面,认为融雪径流、表层土壤解冻深度、解冻期表层土壤可蚀性是影响融雪侵蚀发生的特殊因素。同时指出,融雪侵蚀预报模型中冻融作用对土壤水分迁移的影响、未完全解冻层对表层土壤水分的影响以及坡面融雪过程研究是未来融雪侵蚀研究中应重点解决的问题。 相似文献

中国地质大学(武汉)三峡库区地质灾害研究中心安装在三峡库区的次声波监测仪在芦山地震(2013年4月20日,MS 7.0)和玉树地震(2011年6月26日,MS 5.2)震前都接收到有效的异常信号。根据不同台站接收到的次声波异常信号,配合Matlab滤波和小波分析等手段,得出:芦山地震震前次声波信号的频率主要集中在(0~4)×10-3 Hz;玉树地震震前次声波信号的频率主要集中在(0~5)×10-3 Hz,且地震震级越大,震前次声波信号振幅越大。根据野三关和秭归的次声波监测仪在玉树地震震前接收到的次声波异常信号的时间差和震中与次声波监测仪台站之间的距离差,估算出玉树地震震前超低频次声波的波速约为6.4 m/s。为探讨地震短临预报的可行性,文中设计了一个大三角套小三角的次声监测阵列以实现震中定位。 相似文献

Seasonal variations in the nitrogen isotopic composition of dissolved nitrate(δ 15 NO 3) were investigated in the surface waters of the Changjiang River estuary in 2009 and 2010. δ 15 NO 3 varied between-4.6‰ and 8.9‰ with changes in temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen concentrations, and the composition of the dissolved inorganic nitrogen pool. In February, biological processes decreased because of low temperature, and the mean δ 15 NO 3 near the river mouth was 2.4‰. In May, δ 15 NO 3 was the highest in the surface waters among all seasons. Analysis on the conservative mixing revealed assimilation, and this fi nding is supported by positive relationship between Chl a and δ 15 NO 3. The fractionation factor of assimilation was estimated to be 2.0‰ by the Rayleigh equation. Nitrifi cation was supported based on the mixing behaviors in November 2010 and the low δ 15 NO 3 values in May and November 2009. The high ammonium concentrations in the adjacent marine area and positive relationships between total organic nitrogen and δ 15 NO 3 in November 2010 indicated that mineralization was taking place. 相似文献

Bacterioplankton play key roles in the biogeochemical cycle and in organic contaminant degradation. The species richness and abundance of bacterial subgroups are generally distinct from each other, and this is attributed to their different functions in aquatic ecosystems. The spatiotemporal variations of eight phylogenetic subgroups (Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Cyanobacteria, Firmicutes, Planctomycetes, alpha-, beta-, and gamma-Proteobacteria) derived from Donghu Lake were investigated using PCR-DGGE fingerprinting, to explore their responses to environmental factors. Results indicate that Actinobacteria and beta-Proteobacteria were the two largest bacterial subgroups detected. These two groups and Bacteroidetes showed clear seasonal patterns in composition of the operational taxonomic unit. Results also suggest that the bacterioplankton subgroups in Donghu Lake were significantly correlated with different environmental factors. In brief, the total nitrogen was one of the major factors regulating all the bacterioplankton except for Actinobacteria. However, total phosphorus, another important eutrophication factor, contributed to the two largest bacterial groups (Actinobacteria and beta-Proteobacteria), as well as to the Cyanobacteria and Firmicutes. Therefore, the responses of bacterioplankton subgroups to environmental factors were different, and this should be attributed to the differences in the fimctions of different groups. 相似文献
