During the past two decades, at the Research station (Bishkek) more than a hundred magnetotelluric and magnetovariational soundings were carried out on the Naryn geotraverse that intersects the Tien Shan region from Lake Balkhash to the Tarim Basin along the 76° E meridian. Integration and complex interpretation of the data of these soundings with improved resolution and reliability of the geoelectric model of the Central Tien Shan section became an urgent challenge. Our paper presents a complex of methods for processing and invariant analysis of the electromagnetic data developed for the solution of this problem. Its application allowed us to validate the choice of the 2D interpretation model for the Naryn Line and to form the adequate ensemble of the data to be inverted. The developed approaches will also be useful in similar studies in the other mountain regions.  相似文献

The variations in the structural, textural, mineralogical, and geochemical (isotope) features of Lower to Middle Jurassic siliciclastic sediments along the Chanty-Argun River in Mountainous Chechnya and Georgia are discussed. This profile transects areas with various types of deformed sediments, from the northern comparatively weakly deformed and altered zone, to the southern zone of intense deformation and cleavage. Southward along the profile, these alterations are accompanied by the evolution of clay mineral assemblages, as well as polytypic modifications of micas and their crystallinity index. Increasing intensity of rock alteration and cleavage leads to a change of the K–Ar system, which results in a substantially rejuvenated isotope age of the sediments with a simultaneous increase of their stratigraphic age.  相似文献

The Mesozoic-Cenozoic rhythmic continental sedimentary rocks are analyzed for every particular period and epoch from the Triassic to the Pliocene. The maximal distribution areas of rhythmic deposits are within the latitudinal zone of 20°-40°. Investigation of rhythmic Mesozoic-Cenozoic carbonate-containing deposits of Europe and North America enables us to attribute rhythmicity to climate change owing to insolation and eustatic variations of oceanosphere’s level, on the one hand, and to compare duration values of the rhythmic unit and rhythmic sequence with cycles of orbital precession, ecliptic plane inclination, and the eccentricity of the Earth’s orbit, on the other hand.  相似文献

Anhydrite-bearing dolomites and kimberlites from the contact zone of the Udachnaya Vostochnaya pipe, northern part of the Eastern Siberian Platform, were affected by low-grade metamorphism to the zeolite facies. The kimberlites are serpentinized and carbonatized and contain metasomes of anhydrite and saponite pockets. Twenty lizardite pseudomorphs after olivine (Fo 91–82) in the kimberlites were examined on an electron microprobe. The lizardite is rimmed by saponite and contains dolomite, calcite, magnetite, and anhydrite inclusions. Lizardite in the central parts of the pseudomorphs contains 1.5–1.9 wt % Cl and 6–9 wt % Fe2O3, and this mineral in the outer portions of the pseudomorphs bears 0.7–1.0 wt % Cl and 2–6 wt % Fe2O3 (the paper presents nine microprobe analyses and images showing the distribution of Cl, Mg, Al, Si, S, Ca, Ti, and Fe obtained in characteristic X-ray radiation). The amounts of Fe3+ in octahedrally and tetrahedrally coordinated sites of the Cl-bearing lizardite are roughly equal. Cl was borrowed in the course of serpentinization from the host Early Paleozoic evaporites and brines contained in them. The Cl concentration in our lizardite from the metamorphosed kimberlites from the Eastern Siberian Platform (continental lizardite) is much higher than the Cl concentration in oceanic lizardite from serpentine replacing peridotites (0.03–0.2 wt % Cl). This is likely explained by differences in the Cl concentrations in the metamorphic fluids, their salinity (3% for oceanic water and 65% for brines in the platform cover).  相似文献

Concentrations of helium isotopes were measured in gas and water samples from 28 thermal mineral springs in Tuva and adjacent regions of Buryatia and Gorny Altai. It is shown that fluids from 16 springs are rich in mantle helium (4–35%). With regard to the air contamination of the samples, the corrected ratios of helium isotopes (Rcor = 3He/4He) in these springs vary from 5.3 × 10–8 to 422 × 10–8. Using these Rcor values, we estimated the heat flow; these estimates were then applied to calculate the deep-level temperatures and thickness of thermal lithosphere. According to these parameters, the Tuva region is divided into two parts. Eastern Tuva (from ~96° E to the boundary with Buryatia) is characterized by abnormal helium isotope ratios and heat flow indicating the intense heating of the Earth’s crust in eastern Tuva: At a depth of 50 km, a temperature reaches 1000–1200 °C, and the thickness of thermal lithosphere is reduced to 70–50 km. This testifies to a rift process west (probably, up to 96° E) of the Baikal Rift Zone. In western Tuva, the average heat flow is much lower, ~45–50 mW/m2, which is commensurate with that in the Altai–Sayan folded area as a whole. The deep-level temperatures here are twice lower, and the lithosphere thickness increases to 150 km.  相似文献

Peculiarities of formation and seasonal dynamics of hydrological structure of the Sheksna River Deep of the Rybinsk Reservoir are considered. The contribution of various genetic water types, including run-offs of the town of Cherepovets, to the formation of its water masses is established on the grounds of model calculations. It is shown, that the hydrological structure effects the distribution of hydrobionts in sewage disposal areas. The assessment of the contribution of Cherepovets run-offs to the change of total water salinity of the deep is given.  相似文献
