A mixed rain-snow storm associated with a strong burst of cold air and development of an extratropical cyclone occurred over North China from 3 to 5 November 2012.This early snowfall event was characterized by a dramatic drop in temperature,strong winds,high precipitation intensity,broad spatial extent,and coexistence of multi-phase precipitating hydrometeors.This study investigates the multi-scale interactions between the large-scale circulation background and the synoptic-scale weather systems associated with the storm.The results are as follows.(1) The Arctic Oscillation (AO) had been in its negative phase long before the event,leading to southward advection of cold air into North China in advance of the storm.(2)The large-scale atmospheric circulation experienced a decreased number of long waves upstream of North China prior to the storm,resulting in reduced wave velocity and an almost stagnant low pressure system (extratropical cyclone) over North China.(3) An Ω-shaped blocking high over East Asia and the western Pacific obstructed the eastward movement of an upstream trough,allowing the corresponding surface cyclone to stabilize and persist over Beijing and its neighboring areas.This blocking high was a major factor in making this event a historically most severe precipitation event in autumn in Beijing for the past 60 years.(4) Baroclinic instability at lower levels gave rise to rapid development of the cyclone under the classical "second type" development mechanism for extratropical cyclones.(5) Moisture originated from the Yellow Sea entered the slowly-moving cyclone in a steady stream,creating fairly favorable water vapor supply for the heavy rainfall-snowfall,especially during the later stage of the cyclone development.(6) Moisture transport and frontal lifting triggered low-level instability and updrafts.Intensification of the front enhanced the vertical wind shear,causing conditional symmetric instability (CSI) to expand upward within the unstable lower troposphere,and to eventually gear into the CSI region of the upper troposphere,which facilitated the upward development of low-level updrafts.  相似文献

利用2005-2010年闽南沿海地区9个气象站(厦门、同安、漳州、东山、漳浦、龙海、诏安、晋江和崇武)的日常观测能见度、相对湿度等气象资料,采用统计方法,探讨了闽南沿海地区低能见度事件的年、季和日变化等变化特征规律.分析发现,闽南沿海地区低能见度事件的年平均能见度一般在6 km左右,且低能见度在霾时总体要好于(轻)雾时;上半年低能见度事件持续时间较长且多发,下半年低能见度事件持续时间短且出现频率低于上半年.通常,08时的能见度最差,14时和20时转好,02时的能见度较08时要好,只有沿海测站东山站和崇武站在冬春季02时能见度较08时差.霾是造成闽南沿海地区出现低能见度事件的主要原因,(轻)雾次之,反映出该地区经济快速发展对能见度的影响.  相似文献

以二级生化出水为对象,采用4种常规除磷剂开展了化学法深度除磷和投药量经验系数法研究.研究结果表明,FeCl3在pH为7.5、投加量为6.5 mg/L条件下,Al2(SO4)3在pH为6、投加量为3.75 mg/L条件下,可使出水总磷小于0.5 mg/L,且处理费用低廉,是生化出水深度除磷的适宜药剂.FeCl3在除磷的同时,对COD也具有较好的去除效果,可作为总磷和COD均超标的二级生化出水深度处理的有效途径.投药量经验系数法可根据原水和出水的磷质量浓度,估算出除磷剂投加量,在工程实践中具有较大的参考价值.  相似文献

Observations from 560 weather stations in China show that sand–dust storms occur most frequently in April in north China. The region consists of Sub-dry Mid Temperate, Dry Mid Temperate, Sub-dry South Temperate and Dry South Temperate Zones and much of the land surface is desert or semi-desert: it is relatively dry with minimal rainfall and a high annual mean temperature. In most regions of China, the annual mean frequency of sand–dust events decreased sharply between 1980 and 1997 and then increased from 1997 to 2000. Statistical analyses demonstrate that the frequency of sand–dust storms correlates highly with wind speed, which in turn is strongly related to land surface features; on the other hand, a significant correlation between storm events and other atmospheric quantities such as precipitation and temperature was not observed. Accordingly, land surface cover characteristics (vegetation, snowfall and soil texture) may play a significant role in determining the occurrence of sand–dust storms in China. Analysis of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index derived from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Empirical Orthogonal Function show that since 1995 surface vegetation cover in large areas of Northern China has significantly deteriorated. Moreover, a high correlation is shown to exist among the annual occurrence of sand–dust storms, surface vegetation cover and snowfall. This suggests that the deterioration of surface vegetation cover may strongly influence the occurrence of sand–dust storms in China. Soils with coarse and medium textures are found to be more associated with sand–dust storms than other soils.  相似文献

We selected a sample of luminous infrared galaxies by cross-identification of the Faint Source Catalogue (FSC) and Point Source Catalogue (PSC) of the IRAS Survey with the Second Data Release of the SDSS. The size of our sample is 1267 for FSC and 427 for PSC by using the 2σ significance level cross-section. The "likelihood ratio" method is used to estimate the individual's reliability and for defining two more reliable subsamples (908 for FSC and 356 for PSC). A catalog of infrared, optical and radio data is compiled and will be used in further work. Some statistical results show that luminous infrared galaxies are quite different from ultra-luminous infrared galaxies. The AGN fractions of galaxies at different infrared luminosities and the radio-infrared correlations are consistent with the previous studies.  相似文献

储良广眼的砧穗不亲和现象在众多个体中呈现从亲和至不亲和的连续变化,随砧、穗周长差异的增大,不亲和症状表现突出。砧、穗周长比值与几个生长量指标存在显著相关。提出以砧/穗比作为衡量不亲和程度指标。靠接加砧结果表明对严重不亲和树出现的症状有较大的缓解。  相似文献

山东是我国地方性甲状腺肿(简称地甲病)流行较广泛的省份之一,受害人口约2000万人,对人体健康危害很大。地质环境中碘元素的缺乏或过量是形成地甲病的主要因素。山东省内流行的地甲病可分为低碘型和高碘型两种。山东低碘型地申病区主要分布在鲁西隆起区和鲁东隆起区内的山地丘陵区中,重病区(患病率>10%)一般分布在山地地貌单元中,轻病区(患病率3—10%)一般分布在丘陵地貌单元中。低碘地甲病的发生与岩性、土壤、地下水、地质构造、地貌等地质环境因子存在着密切的关系。  相似文献
