Fullerenes (C60/C70), clays and rocks near the Permian-Triassic (P/T) boundary in the Meishan section of South China are explored by means of comprehensive analytical techniques, including ultrasonic extraction with column purification, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI TOF MS). The study confirms the existence of fullerenes toward the P/T event boundary and their absence in clays and limestones beyond the boundary. In particular, the white clay, known as the event boundary, contains fullerenes of 0.33 ppb, while the red material, as the first lamina fill of goethite and gypsum on the base of the white clay, contains fullerenes of 1.23 ppb, and the last lamina of 2.50 ppb. Significantly, distinct enrichment of fullerenes is coincident with the disappearance of fossil records of marine species (94%) just at the base of the white clay,implying that geological fullerenes would be one of temporal remnants led by the P/T catastrophic event. This work strongly supports that fullerenes would be one of significant records of the P/T catastrophic event but their origin remains to be studied further. 相似文献

Fluid inclusions at a nano to sub-micron scale in quartz from jadeite quartzite at Shuanghe, Dabie Mountains, have been investigated by using the transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Most fluid inclusions are spherical or negative crystal shaped, forming wide swarm-like trails. The TEM reveals that the relationship between coesite and the host quartz is syntaxic and provides strong evidence of the occurrence of high-salty fluids at peak metamorphic conditions. The fluid inclusions are often connected to dislocations, which are undetected at the scale of optical microscopy. Non-decrepitation leakage of fluid inclusions may occur by pipe diffusion of molecule H2O or CO2 along dislocations from the inclusions into the host quartz, thus leading to original inclusion density and composition changes. It should be taken into full account for the correct petrological interpretation of micro-thermometric results. 相似文献

Almost all intraplate caprocks experienced strong deformation during the convergence of microplates, and then disintegrated into many secondary geologic units with the special characters, such as irregular boundaries and particular structural assemblages. In order to understand the formation mechanism of these special phenomena, a rheological experiment on the structural scenery of the Tongling area is carried out. The result shows that the primary regular and uniform boundaries of the Tongling area becomes irregular because of the enclosing and confinement of surrounding geological units in the process of "compression-shearing-rotation-drag"; simultaneously, two specific "drag depressions" developed at two opposite corners of the block. The former and the later phenomena can be regarded as a typical regional-scale rheological effect and necessary outcome of intraplate deformation respectively. 相似文献

中扬子地区指青峰-湘广断裂带以南,湘黔桂海盆以北,鄂西恩施-龙山一线以东的湖北省和湖南省的大部分地区。根据中扬子地区上震旦统-下寒武统十余条代表性剖面的沉积特征及其横向展布规律,应用等时面优势相成图方法编制了晚震旦世的陡山沱期、灯影期,早寒武世的筇竹寺期、沧浪铺早期、沧浪铺晚期、龙王庙期共6幅岩相古地理图。中扬子地区上震旦统发育了从碳酸盐潮坪、开阔台地、浅滩、台地边缘、斜坡到台地前缘盆地等沉积,下寒武统下部主要为细碎屑岩和碳酸盐岩组成的混合型浅海陆棚沉积,上部变成碳酸盐潮坪、开阔台地、台缘斜坡和台缘盆地沉积。晚震旦世岩相古地理格局由碳酸盐台地(鄂中台地)和南边的台缘盆地组成。由于地壳差异性升降运动,晚震旦世陡山沱期岩相古地理格局发生了急剧变化。早寒武世早-中期岩相古地理格局由鄂中古陆、围绕古陆的碳酸盐潮坪、陆棚及南边的陆棚边缘盆地组成。早寒武世中-晚期岩相古地理格局由碳酸盐潮坪、开阔台地、台缘斜坡和台缘盆地组成,该地区主体进入碳酸盐台地演化阶段。 相似文献

大别核部杂岩单元中斜长角闪岩的地球化学特征对于认识大别核部杂岩单元的特征及归属有着十分重要的意义。本文对大别核部杂岩单元中斜长角闪岩的岩石地球化学特征及Sm-Nd 同位素特征进行了较系统研究。斜长角闪岩的 Nd亏损地幔模式年龄(t_(DM))有3个不连续年龄段,它们分别为2.50~2.92Ga(平均2.71Ga);1.79~2.47Ga(平均2.14Ga);1.07~1.57Ga(平均1.38Ga)。模式年龄为中元古代、古元古代的斜长角闪岩的等时线年龄分别为1444±180Ma、2220±210Ma,其模式年龄与等时线年龄在误差范围内一致。表明至少模式年龄为元古宙的斜长角门岩的t_(DM)可代表其原岩的近似形成年龄,从而证明大别核部杂岩单元中存在着古元古代、中元古代两期自亏损地幔分异的基性火山岩变质形成的斜长角闪岩。而模式年龄为新太古代的斜长角闪岩,其模式年龄能否代表其形成年龄还需要进一步研究。各期斜长角闪岩在地球化学特征上的差异表现得不明显。通过对其原岩性质研究表明:原岩主要为拉斑玄武岩,少数为钙碱性玄武岩。大别核部杂岩中斜长角闪岩原岩ε_(Nd)(t)反映出大别核部杂岩地区上地幔自古元古代到中元古代一直沿着亏损地幔 Nd 同位素的演化线演化发展,这种性质及演化趋势与扬子北缘及南秦岭早期上地幔 Nd 同位素性质及演化趋势十分 相似文献

The Caledonian erogenic belt of the North Qilian Mountains is an intensely active structure belt. In the process of the Late Caledonian syn-orogeny, the North Qilian-Hexi Corridor area was situated on the tectonic background of a syn-orogenic basin. In response to the orogenic process of the North Qilian Mountains, typical earthquake event deposits-seismites of the Silurian were widely distributed around Hanxia of Yumen City, the Liyuan River of Sunan County and Biandukou of Minle County. In the Hanxia area, where seismites are typically developed, clastic deposits of tidal-flat facies are the background deposits of the Hanxia Formation. The earthquake event deposits are characterized by sandy mudstone veins, synsedimentary microfractures, micro-corrugated laminations and earthquake breccias, which in turn constitute complex seismites, featuring seismic corrugation, shattering and liquefied sandy mudstone veins, auto-clastic breccias and intraclastic parabreccias. 本文对三峡地区秭归庙河陡山沱组第一段至第三段,宜昌棺材崖陡山沱组第三段上部至灯影组底部以及四溪灯影组石板滩段和白马沱段碳酸盐岩碳氧同位素组成特点的研究结果表明,三峡地区震旦系碳同位素组成与全球新元古代广布的后Martinoan冰期地层δ^13C的分布模式基本一致,本文还讨论了地层中碳同位素组成与生物演化和地层层序发展的关系,指出陡山沱组一段白云岩中δ^13C的负异常可以作为震旦系底界划分的标志,最晚Varanger冰期在三峡地区由陡山沱组三段上部出现的三级层序界面所替代,震旦系内部陡山沱组一段和三段可能形成于Marinoan冰期之后,伊迪卡拉生物分异发展之前,而陡山沱组四段及上覆灯影峡组则大致与国外伊迪卡拉期地层对比。 相似文献

This paper studies the hydrous facies of mantle-derived megacryst clinopyroxenes and pyroxenes of xeno-liths of pyroxenolite and spinel peridotite as well as garnet pyroxenolite in a kimberlitic lamprophyre pipe in Anyuan, Jiangxi, by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR). It explores the relationship between the water content of pyroxene on the one hand and its composition and source depths on the other hand. All the samples contain constitution water. Spectra of the clinopyroxene are dominated by two groups of bands: 3607-3630 cm-1 and 3522-3542 cm-1. Spectra of the orthopy-roxene are dominated by three groups of bands: 3410-3424 cm-1,3510-3516 cm-1 and 3560-3595 cm-1. The water content of the clinopyroxenes has a positive correlation with their FeO and Al2O3 contents. The source depths of mantle-derived clinopyroxene megacrysts, pyroxenolite, spinel peritotite and garnet pyroxenelite increase gradually in order.
