The loess–paleosol deposit in Central Asia is a sensitive indicator of the evolution of the quaternary paleoclimate in the Westerlies, providing insight into the quaternary climate history and its relationship with global climatic changes. Based on the geochemical analysis of elemental composition of densely sampled strata from Talede loess–paleosol sequence in the Ili Basin, the results showed that SiO2 had the highest major elements content, followed by Al2O3. The order of compositional abundance of major elements was generally as follows: SiO2 > Al2O3 > CaO > Fe2O3 > MgO > Na2O > K2O. Trace elements (i.e. Rb, Sr, Sc, Ni, Cu, Ga, Mo, Y, Pb, Th) in the paleosol layers (i.e. S 0, S m, S 1) and the loess layer of L 1 were enriched relative to underlain loess (L 2) horizons, except for the contents of Zr, Cs, Nd, and La in paleosol layers. All of geochemical proxies, such as enrichment factor, Rb/Sr ratio, eluvial coefficient (K i ) and chemical weathering index, display no obvious differentiation in the Talede loess–paleosol deposit. The results indicate that the weak chemical weathering, greater evaporation and low effective moisture in Ili Basin, are to a degree weaker than those in the China Loess Plateau and the climate was warm–dry during the interglacial period. In addition, the loess of Ili area is rich in schistose minerals and implies that the loess may come from the deserts of Central Asia and it may be closely related to the widespread aridification of Central Asia.  相似文献

The Early Paleozoic Wuyi-Yunkai fold belt of South China represents a major orogenic belt in East Asia; however, its formation is not well understood. This paper evaluates the origins of the Neoproterozoic–Early Paleozoic basin and the southern margin of the South China Block (SCB) based on a compilation of the spatiotemporal evolution of the Late Neoproterozoic–Early Paleozoic strata and their depositional environments. These data are combined with high-resolution structural, geochronologic, metamorphic and petrologic data that are published from the region. A new model of a retroarc thrust wedge/foreland basin system is proposed for the succession based on the following: (1) the nature of the basal unconformity, (2) the wedge-shaped basin-fill geometry bounded by the mountain belt to the south, (3) basinward propagation of the thrust-front with time and (4) the presence of a typical underfilled stratigraphic trinity of the foreland basin. The proposed model suggests two major cycles of evolution of the retroarc thrust wedge/foreland basin system (<725–<635 and ca. 564–446 Ma), which record two periods of northwestward subduction of the oceanic slab beneath the southern margin of the SCB. Terrane accretion is inferred to have taken place during the late stage of these cycles.  相似文献

Syn-collisional transform faulting of the Tan-Lu fault zone,East China   总被引:21,自引:0,他引:21  
Origin of the continental-scale Tan-Lu fault zone (TLFZ), East China, remains controversial. About 550 km sinistral offset of the Dabie orogenic belt (DOB) and Sulu orogenic belt (SOB) is shown along the NE-NNE-striking TLFZ. Syn-collisional, sinistral ductile shear belts in the TLFZ have been identified. Thirteen phengite bulk separates from the mylonites were dated by the 40Ar/39Ar method. They gave cooling ages of the 198–181 Ma for the shear belts along the eastern margin of the DOB and 221–210 Ma from the western margin of the SOB. Distribution of the foreland basin deposits suggests that sinistral offset of the DOB and SOB by the TLFZ took place prior to deposition of the Upper Triassic strata. The marginal structures around the DOB and SOB support syn-collisional faulting, and indicate anticlockwise rotation of the DOB during the displacement. The folding and thrust faulting related to crustal subduction, coeval with the Tan-Lu faulting, is older than the foreland basin deposition related to the orogenic exhumation. Several lines of evidence demonstrate that the TLFZ was developed as a syn-collisional transform fault during latest Middle to earliest Late Triassic time when the DOB and SOB experienced crustal subduction of the South China Block (SCB). Eastward increase of the crustal subduction rates is believed to be responsible for the sinistral transform faulting.  相似文献

鄂尔多斯盆地中部的白于山呈东西向展布,横亘于陕西北部,属黄土低中山。通过水动力场、水化学场和同位素场分析,白于山是无定河与洛河地表分水岭,也是第四系松散层和白垩系环河组地下水分水岭,而不是深层(埋深较大)的白垩系洛河组地下水分水岭。洛河组地下水分水岭在白于山北侧4 km~17 km。由于白垩系洛河组地下水分水岭的北移,为白垩系洛河组地下水的合理开发利用提供了依据。  相似文献

介绍了地震临界时间丛集的判定方法——时间结构变异诊断方法。把时间结构变异诊断方法运用于1999年岫岩地震序列及中国大陆强震活动特性研究,并按此方法预测了中国大陆未来大震可能发生的时间点。研究认为,时间结构变异诊断法不仅可以用作前震序列和余震序列以及正常震群活动的判断,同时也适用于区域地震活动状态的描述。震例研究表明,时间结构变异诊断法在地震预测中具有实际意义。  相似文献

Understanding the relationship between precursory deformation anomalies and strong earthquakes is vital for physical earthquake prediction. Six months before the 2021 MS7.4 Maduo earthquake in Qinghai province, China, the vertical pendulum at the Songpan station was observed to tilt southward with a high rate and large amplitude. Studies conducted before the 2021 MS7.4 Maduo earthquake inferred the tilt anomaly to be an earthquake precursor. However, after the earthquake, the relation between the earthquake and the anomaly became controversial, partly because the Songpan station is located at a great distance from the epicenter. In this study, based on the deformation anomaly characteristics, relationship between the seismogenic fault and the fault near the anomaly, and associated quantitative analyses, we concluded that this anomaly may be associated with the 2021 MS7.4 Maduo earthquake. The duration and amplitude of this anomaly matched with the magnitude and epicenter distance of the Maduo earthquake. We have also interpreted the reason why the anomaly occurred near a fault that is obliquely intersected with the seismogenic fault and why the anomaly is located far from the earthquake epicenter.  相似文献

Rainfall interception research in forest ecosystems usually focuses on interception by either tree crown or leaf litter, although the 2 components interact when rainfall occurs. A process‐based study was conducted to jointly measure rainfall interception by crown and litter and the interaction between the 2 interception processes for 4 tree species (Platycladus orientalis and Pinus tabulaeformis represented needle‐leaf species, and Quercus variabilis and Acer truncatum represented broadleaf species) at 3 simulated rainfall intensities (10, 50, and 100 mm hr?1). Results indicated that (a) crown and litter interception processes incorporated 3 phases: the dampening phase, the steady saturation phase, and the postrainfall drainage phase, but the dampening phase for litter interception usually lasted 30 min longer than for crown interception; (b) the maximum and minimum interception storage (C max and C min ) for the crown were 0.63 and 0.36 mm on average, and litter C max and C min were 5.38 and 2.36 mm, respectively; (c) generally, crown and litter C max and C min increased when gross precipitation increased significantly (p  < .05) from 10 to 100 mm; and (4) crown C max and C min for needle‐species were 1.8 and 1.2 times larger than broadleaf species, whereas broadleaf litter showed the opposite, its C max and C min were 2.0 and 1.6 times larger than needle‐leaf litter on average; however, no significant differences were observed in crown and litter C max and C min between species on per leaf area and litter thickness basis. Results were normalized by total leaf area and litter thickness to provide a way to scale up from young trees to mature forests. Overall, rainfall interception was affected by biotic and abiotic factors together and could be quantified via multiple linear regression functions.  相似文献

在四川冕宁稀土矿霓辉重晶伟晶岩和碳酸岩矿体的早期萤石,石英中发现了大旺的流体-熔融包裹体。包裹体的捕获温度高于500℃,说明两类矿体来典型的盐熔体结晶产物。研究还显示,在矿石矿物氟碳铈矿中,存在着大量的流体包裹体,这说明矿床的稀土矿化与热液作用有成因联系,成矿温度为150-270℃。所有研究结果均证明,四川冕宁矿床是一个与盐熔体有关的热液稀土矿床。  相似文献

利用2017—2020年中国局部GNSS速度场和地壳运动观测网络的基准站时间序列数据,从基线时间序列变化特征、多尺度地壳应变参数两方面,详细分析了2022年泸定MS6.8地震前的构造变形及其演化特征,得到以下认识:①2021年玛多MS7.4地震后,巴颜喀拉块体内部甘孜—小金、炉霍—小金基线时间序列的加速压缩,表明其边界断裂受同震破裂影响发生解耦并加速向南、东向推挤,导致鲜水河断裂南段—龙门山断裂西南段所围限的三岔口一带的应变能积累速率加快,地震危险性增加;②泸定MS6.8地震处于大型走滑断裂带剪切应变高值边缘的弱化区、垂直于断层方向应变的张性区,表明闭锁背景下正应变的减小有利于断层破裂和地震成核。  相似文献
