This paper describes an algorithm for processing data provided by a gradient-distributed temperature sensor, based on the regularization method, to estimate internal wave parameters in the thermocline. Measurements of the average temperature in the layer, temperature data at its boundaries, as well as the vertical temperature profile at the initial moment of time serve as input data. Data on the error-level of parameter measurements and ana priori assumption as to the monotonic declining of temperature with depth is applied. We discuss the evolution and characteristic times of the jet activity of quasars and radio galaxies within the scope of the quantum vortex model of relativistic jet activity of these objects (Ukrainskii Fizicheskii Zhurnal, 1991, vol. 36, no. 12, pp. 1785–1795; Kinematika i Fizika Nebesnykh Tel, 1997, vol. 13, no. 5, pp. 24–35). In 1996–1997, the Geminga pulsar was observed at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory with a ground-based gamma-ray telescope. An analysis of the observational data suggests that this object is a source of ultrahigh-energy gamma rays. An analysis of the temporal distribution of gamma-ray photons by an epoch-folding technique reveals a periodicity in the gamma-ray emission with a period of 0.237 s.  相似文献

The Cerenkov installation of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, consisting of two identical detectors, separated by 20m, are mounted in parallel for comparing the parameters of images. The average counting rate at one section is 35% higher than at the other. The number of coincident flashes make up 55% for one section and 76% for the second section. The comparison of parameters of coincident events shows high correlation of centroid positions (correlation coefficient r=0.98), of length (r=0.70), orientational angle (r=0.64). The correlation of width parameters is considerably lower (r=0.44).Since the coincident flashes at the two sections correspond to the same EAS their image parameters must be the same or very close. Hence the correlation coefficient between identical parameters of coincident flashes will characterize the quality of equipment and the method of observational data processing.  相似文献

Results of observations of active galactic nuclei with the gamma-telescope GT-48 during 2007?C2009 are presented. It is shown that the very-high-energy (E > 1012 eV) gamma radiation from galaxies 3C 66A, Mrk 421, Mrk 501, and BL Lac is variable.  相似文献

The active galactic nuclei BL Lac, 3C66A, and Mk501, as well as the Crab nebula and the Cyg γ-2 source were observed in 2006 at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory using the GT-48 gamma-ray telescope. Very high energy (VHE) gamma-ray fluxes at a high confidence level (Q > 4) were detected from the active galactic nuclei and the Crab nebula. VHE gamma-ray fluxes from the unidentified gamma-ray source Cyg γ-2 and the X-ray source Cyg X-3 were recorded during observations of Cyg γ-2.  相似文献

Measurements of the flux of very-high-energy (>1 TeV) gamma rays from the blazar 3C 66A obtained over four years are presented. The mean flux over the four-year period was (2.8±0.4)×10?11 cm?2 s?1. There is a correlation between the season-averaged flux of very-high-energy gamma rays and the observed optical radiation.  相似文献

The active galactic nucleus BL Lac was observed with the GT-48 atmospheric Cherenkov detector of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory from July 23–September 1, 1998, in order to search for ultrahighenergy gamma-ray (>1 TeV) emission. The object was in the field of view of the detector for more than 24 hours.
