Zusammenfassung Es wird eine Übersichtskarte für die Serra Negra (Ostrand der Espinhaço-Zone) im Maßstab 1250 000 vorgelegt.Lithologische Faziesübergänge und das Vorkommen ultrabasischer bis basischer Gesteine belegen einen mio-/eugeosynklinalen Übergangsbereich der Minas-Geosynklinale. In der jüngeren, die Minas-Serie diskordant überlagernde São-Francisco-Serie (Macaúbas-Fazies) wurden erstmals magmatische Gesteine nachgewiesen.Die metamorphen Mineralneubildungen in der Minas-Serie weisen auf eine nach Osten zunehmende Regionalmetamorphose hin. Der größte Teil des Arbeitsgebietes liegt im Übergangsbereich Grünschiefer-/Amphibolit-Fazies.
A regional study of the Serra Negra (eastern region of the Serra do Espinhaço) was carried out at the scale 1250 000.Lithologic facies changes and occurences of ultrabasic and basic rocks allow to delimit a mio/eugeosynclinal transition within the Precambrian Minas-Geosyncline. Within a post-Minas sequence (Macaúbas-Facies of the São Francisco Series) magmatic rocks have been encountered for the first time.Regional metamorphism within the Minas-Series is increasing to the east. The major part of the area belongs to a transitional zone between the greenshist- and amphibolite-Facies.

Resumo Foi mapeada a região da Serra Negra (margem oriental da Serra do Espinhaço) na escala 1250 000.Mudanças de fácies, ocorrênicias de rochas ultrabásicas e básicas permitiram delimitar uma região de transição entre condições mio- e eugeossinclinais na Série Minas. Dentro da fácies Macaúbas, na Série São Francisco, discordante da Série Minas, foram reconhecidas rochas magmáticas pela primeira vez.O metamorflsmo regional da Série Minas cresce em direção leste. A maior parte da área em estudo situa-se na região de transição entre a fácies xisto verde e a anfibolítica.

Based on recent survey work sponsored by the Geological Survey of Greenland, an attempt is made here to establish an appropriate background to the cryolite deposit at Ivigtut. The cryolite ore body occurs within the original top part of a stock of alkali granite which, during the younger time of the cratonic Gardar period, was emplaced into the older, folded basement rocks. Close to the granite stock a breccia pipe occurs. Both bodies were cut by tinguaitic dykes before the actual mise en place of the cryolite body. The various events which contributed to such a set-up are discussed from both local and regional angles. Certain older basement structures, such as e.g. a Ketilidian depression zone, a younger, partial mobilisation of the dyke-cut Ketilidian crust, followed by the ascent of fluorite-bearing granites, may well have influenced the super-imposed Gardar tectonics. During the Gardar period, a regional system of wrench faults was active — in interaction with Atlantic volcanism.
Zusammenfassung Nach intensiver Kartierungstätigkeit während der letzten Jahre in SW-Grönland wird ein Versuch gemacht, die regionalgeologische Stellung des Kryolithvorkommens von Ivigtut zu erhellen. Mittels relativer Altersverhältnisse von Ganggesteinen, anderer Intrusiva und Verwerfungen wird gezeigt, daß die Kryolithbildung am Ende der kratogenen Gardar-Periode stattgefunden hat und die Platznahme des Kryoliths einem späteren Stadium als der Konsolidation des umgebenden Granits angehört. Strukturelle Merkmale noch älterer Ereignisse sind wahrscheinlich vorhanden. Eine alte ketilidische Depressionszone, eine jüngere (aber prä-Gardar) Wiederbewegung und partielle Mobilisation des alten gangdurchsetzten ketilidischen Sockels, welcher vom Vorstoß einiger flußspatführender Granite gefolgt wurde, scheinen die spätere kratogene Gardar-Tektonik beeinflußt zu haben. Während der Gardar-Periode ist in Interferenz mit atlantischem Vulkanismus ein regionales System von Blattverschiebungen aktiv gewesen.

Résumé Les travaux de cartographie poursuivis activement durant les dernières années dans le S.W. du Groenland permettent à l'auteur de dégager la position des gisements de cryolite d'Ivigtut dans le cadre de la géologie régionale. En se basant sur les âges relatifs de filons, d'autres masses intrusives et de failles, il montre que la formation de la cryolithe a pris place à la fin de la période cratogénique de Gardar et que la mise en place de la cryolithe appartient à un stade postérieur à la consolidation du granite environnant. Il existe encore vraisemblablement des caractéristiques structurales liées à des phénomènes plus anciens. Une ancienne zone de dépression kétilidique, un remaniement plus jeune (mais prégardar) et une mobilisation partielle du vieux socle kétilidique traversé par des filons, suivie de la montée d'un granite à fluorine, semblent avoir influencé la tectonique cratogène Gardar survenue postérieurement. Pendant la période Gardar, un système régional de fractures a interféré avec un volcanisme de type atlantique.

The crustal plate of Southern Germany models, in a highly instructive way, the real behaviour of continental crustal plates in the immediate foreland of an active orogenic mountain belt. The frontier line between alpidic and outer-alpine strain pattern crossed this first order tectonic unit. During Upper Tertiary times, the crustal plate of Southern Germany shows an anticlockwise rotation of the direction of maximal principal stress (from NNE/SSW through NNW/SSE to NW/SE), nearly contemporaneous to the transition from alpine Flysch-to Molasse-to postorogenic sedimentation. From prae-Upper Cretaceous to Oligocene, NNE-SSW-plate movement follows a direction more or less parallel — not perpendicular — to the North Atlantic midocean ridge. Since the Pliocene, the axis of tectonic transport (a in rock fabrics nomenclature) turns to a more northwesterly-southeasterly position, so nearly becoming to the well known sea-floor spreading concept. But, at that time, alpine orogenesis comes to an end. Today, neither in the Alps nor in their foreland, any adequate subduction zone to counterbalance the opening of the North Atlantic (as supposed by means of paleomagnetic data) still exists. Since early Pliocene time, the Southern Germany crustal plate shows, in spite of the overburden by thick Molasse sediments, neither any subsidence nor underthrusting the Alps, but, on the contrary, uplifting in a magnitude up to more than fivehundred meters, while the opening of the North Atlantic seems to continue. So we find some serious inconsistencies between the so called new global tectonics and the tectonic evolution of the Southern Germany crustal plate.  相似文献

The Tokaido east coast road has been the main road of Japan since Mediaeval times, and the journey from Tokyo at one end to Kyoto or Osaka at the other, which used to take a fortnight, can now be completed in about three hours by bullet train, and an even faster linear-motor car is likely to be in operation in the near future.Already during the 18. cent., Edo (Tokyo) was the largest city in the world, with a population over a million, and the rapid urbanization of Japan's population since Meiji times, and particularly during the post-WW II period, has been quite unprecendented. In 1950, the median size of place was 13,000 and by 1975 it was 140,000. About 60 million lived in the Tokaido zone.The Kanto, Nobi and Osaka plains, adjacent to the good harbours of Tokyo, Ise and Osaka bays, enjoying the relatively mild climate of the Pacific coast, and being within 600 km of each other, have been the focii of urban and industrial development in Japan. The emergence of Tokaido megalopolis was boosted by capital investment in this zone, and was contingent upon the industriousness and high level of education of the people.The concept of megalopolis in Japan is popularly associated with rapid urbanization, poly-nuclear and linear form, and concentration of population, capital and information, all of which elements are typified by the Tokaido zone. The linear megalopolis pattern has been postulated as a more efficient growth form for high-dense society than the radial metropolitan pattern. It has even been suggested that megalopolis is a concept perceived by the intellect, its physical structure determined by information networks, metropolis being perceived by the eye and its physical structure being determined by transport and energy networks.Quite irrespective of the concept of megalopolis, there can be no denying that Japan's society is a high-dense society. In 1975, 57% of the population lived in Densely Inhabited Districts (DIDs) at minimum densities of 40 persons per hectare, and these DIDs covered only 2.2% of the land area of Japan. The current trend is for more and more people to live in DIDs, but for overall DID densities to decrease. During the past 25 years, there has been a huge influx of population into the Tokaido zone, and while until 1960 the greatest increases were in the three main metropolitan centres, as these became saturated, rapid urbanization spread into the neighbouring prefectures. Since the mid-sixties, the central metropolitan wards have begun to lose residents, but the daytime population has continued to increase, giving rise to increasingly complex commuting patterns. To give an example, the commuting field of Yokohama includes almost all the prefectures of Tokaido megalopolis.Like the image of megalopolis itself, life in Tokaido megalopolis has its good and bad aspects. Although per capita space in dwellings is increasing somewhat, housing is extremely expensive and people commute long distances. Incomes are high but environmental problems persist. There is a U-turn phenomenon, but metropolitan suburbs remain a popular choice of residence.Central management functions and knowledge and information oriented occupations are predominantly concentrated in Tokyo and Osaka, the two main nodes of Tokaido megalopolis. In the intermediate cities, new employment opportunities are stimulated by the expansion of second-level managerial functions. The transport and communications networks of Tokaido are becoming congested as mobility and information flow increase.Planning in the eighties will be affected by the switch from industries dependent on raw materials to knowledge intensive industries; from investment in production to investment in public facilities and pollution control. Within Tokaido megalopolis, there is room for local governments to expand efforts to improve the existing situation, and at its fringes to avert some of the less desirable consequences of rapid urbanization.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Taramellit kommt im westlichen Nordamerika an mindestens acht Fundstellen vor, wo er bis jetzt wenig beachtet wurde. Die Taramellite dieser Fundstellen sind alle sehr Ti-reich. Bisher wurde Taramellit nach dem ersten Vorkommen, Candoglia in Italien, meist als faserig beschrieben. Die Ti-reichen Taramellite in Nordamerika, besonders die in California, welche mit Sanbornit und Gillespit vorkommen, erscheinen aber als gut ausgebildete Einkristalle. Es wurden viele solche Kristalle goniometrisch gemessen. Obgleich etwa dreißig Formen verzeichnet wurden, ist der Habitus der orthorhombischen Kristalle meist durch das Vorherrschen der Pinakoide und einiger {hk0} und {0kl} Prismen bedingt. Am häufigsten ist der tafelige habitus nach {100}.
On the morphology of taramellite
Summary Taramellite is known from at least eight localities in western North America but has received little notice. The taramellite at all of these localities is especially Ti-rich. Hitherto taramellite has mostly been described as fibrous after its habit at the type locality, Candoglia, Italy. The Ti-rich taramellites of North America, especially those found with sanbornite and gillespite in California, occur as well-developed single crystals. Many such crystals were measured goniometrically. Though about thirty forms were recorded, the habit of the orthorhombic crystals is mostly determined by the pinacoids and a few {hk0} and {0kl} prisms. A tabular habit with {100} dominant is most common.
