王河金矿地电提取找矿方法的实验研究表明,在已知矿体上方,地电提取Au、Ag、CuPb都出现了不同程度的异常,且提取时加玉水的异常循环与矿体的赋存位置的吻合程度比不加王水的好,说明在黄土覆盖地区用该方法寻找隐伏矿体是可行的。  相似文献

分布于贺兰山脉北部的贺兰山群变质杂岩的主期变质作用达角闪麻粒岩相,其矿物组合特征与低压相系麻粒岩相似、利用共生矿物组合和矿物对的温度计、压力计估算主期变质温度740—764(?),压力460—501MPa。温度压力条件与低压相系的地热梯度线较接近,变质作用强度具面型分布的特征,与东部密云、冀东等地的麻粒岩相区相似,但变质压力明显低,压力类型也不同,应属不同构造背景下的变质产物。  相似文献

Proxy climate data can be obtained from reconstructions of hydrological changes on ombrotrophic (rain‐fed) peatlands using biological indicators, such as testate amoebae. Reconstructions are based on transfer functions, relating modern assemblage composition to water table and moisture content, applied to fossil sequences. Existing transfer functions in Europe and elsewhere are limited geographically and there are often problems with missing or poor analogues. This paper presents a new palaeohydrological transfer function based on sampling raised mires from across Europe. Relationships between assemblages and hydrological variables are described using ordination analyses. Transfer functions are developed for depth to water table (n = 119) and moisture content (n = 132) with root mean squared errors (RMSEP) of 5.6 cm and 2.7% respectively. Both transfer functions have an r2 of 0.71, based on ‘leave one out’ cross‐validation. Comparisons with an existing transfer function for Britain show that the European transfer function performs well in inferring measured water tables in Britain but that the British data cannot be used to infer water tables for other European sites with confidence. Several of the key missing and poor analogue taxa problems encountered in previous transfer functions are solved. The new transfer function will be an important tool in developing peat‐based palaeoclimatic reconstructions for European sites. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Anhydrite–pyrite–magnetite–pyroxene–type deposits occur in the Mesozoic volcanic areas of the Middle–Lower Yangtze Valley in China. These deposits are hosted in alkaline basaltic rocks, and are generally accompanied by melanocratic and leucocratic alteration zones, both of which are characterized by a distinct vertical zonation pattern. Investigation of these zones indicates that the chemical compositions of solid solutions and polymorphs of various minerals vary spatially in the alteration profile, upwards from the lowest level, and outwards from the center.Here we report a case study on the Luohe deposit. In the melanocratic-alteration zone, the composition of magnetite (including trace elements Ti, V, Mg, Mn), pyroxene (Mg, Fe2+, Fe3+, Al2O3), plagioclase (AnxAb1 − x), pyrite (Co, Ni) and apatite (F, CeO2 + Y2O3 + La2O3) changes with depth. The isotherms of hydrothermal fluids determined from fluid inclusion data, including homogenization temperature and salinity, also vary with depth.Activity diagrams were constructed from mineral and isotherm analysis to estimate the chemical constraints on the alteration-mineral assemblages and the coexisting hydrothermal solutions for the Na2O–K2O–CaO–MgO–FeO–Fe2O3–A12O3–SiO2–H2SO4–H2S–HCI–H2O system at 350 to 600 °C and 500 bars (50 MPa), assuming that the major alteration mineral assemblages along the profile reflect the nature of the coexisting hydrothermal solutions. The activity diagrams adopted the major minerals as buffers to fix the activities of the aqueous species in the system, simulating the physicochemical conditions of the magnetite–anhydrite–pyroxene equilibrium and of solid solutions of diopside–hedenbergite, grossular–andradite and anorthite–albite found in the profile.This study provides an approach to modeling the chemical constraints of coexisting fluids in ore-alteration zones based on field observations.  相似文献

The radio approach based on the Askaryan effect for detecting the ultra-high energy cosmic neutrinos has become a mature experimental technique. So far the existing calculations of the Cherenkov radiation associated with the Askaryan effect has been mostly based on the far-field approximation, whose validity maybe challenged when the detector is close to the event. In this paper we present an alternative approach to calculate the Cherenkov pulse by a numerical code based on the finite difference time-domain (FDTD) method. This approach has the advantage of providing the solution everywhere in space, contrary to other methods that rely on the far-field approximation. We also present a one-dimensional theoretical model for the shower with analytical solution, which helps to elucidate our nonzero-width simulation results. We show that for a shower with symmetric longitudinal development, the resulting near-field waveform would be asymmetric in time. In addition, we demonstrate that for a shower elongated by the LPM (Landau-Pomeranchuk-Migdal) effect and thus with a multi-peak structure, a bipolar, asymmetric waveform is still preserved in the near-field regime irrespective of the specific variations of the multi-peak structure, which makes it a generic, distinctive feature. This should provide an important characteristic signature for the identification of ultra-high energy cosmogenic neutrinos.  相似文献

The Altyn Tagh fault plays an important role in growth of the north-western Tibetan plateau, but the timing of its inception and magnitude of left-lateral displacement are not well constrained. This study provides new independent constraints by correlating stratigraphic development and spatial distribution of the neighbouring Tarim and Qaidam basins. It is shown that the Tarim and Qaidam basins experienced quite similar stratigraphic and sedimentary evolution from late Sinian to early Palaeogene times. This fact indicates that the Tarim and Qaidam basins were a single block, at least until Oligocene time, which was then offset by the Altyn Tagh fault. Early Palaeozoic and Late Triassic suture zones within the East and West Kunlun and pinch-outs of Mesozoic strata are chosen as piercing lines. Restoration of these lines gives total offset estimates of ˜ 350–400 km across the south-western and central segments of the Altyn Tagh fault.  相似文献
