Discrimination Between Nuclear Explosions and Earthquakes: An Application of Wigner Distribution

In this paper,the nonstationary theory of Wigner Distribution is used to discriminate between underground nuclear explosions and natural earthquakes.Five underground explosions in Kazakhstan region and seven regional earthquakes in its adjacent areas have been analyzed.The result shows that the transient spectra of underground nuclear explosions are concentrated in the frequency range of 5-10 Hz,while the transient spectra of natural earthquakes are distributed widely from lower frequency to higher frequency.The transient frequency of nuclear explosions shows linearity in the first stage(0相似文献   

Hercynian-Indosinian Sedimento-Tectonic Evolution of the Nanpanjiang Basin

Following the orogeny in the Early Palaeozoic, the tectonic evolution of the Nanpanjiang basin in the Hercynian-Indosinian stage constituted a complete Wilson Cycle, made up of the stages of early rifting (D-P1), late rifting and passive margin developement (P2-T1), and peripheral foreland basin developement (T2-T3). The REE data of the initial Early Triassic basalts from the southern part of the basin has verified the existence of the oceanic crust once in the basinal evolution. The basin developed into a foreland one in the Middle-Late Triassic, indicating that the Yangtze plate once collided with the Indo-Sinian plate along the Black River fracture zone.     

Wave modelling - The state of the art

This paper is the product of the wave modelling community and it tries to make a picture of the present situation in this branch of science, exploring the previous and the most recent results and looking ahead towards the solution of the problems we presently face. Both theory and applications are considered.The many faces of the subject imply separate discussions. This is reflected into the single sections, seven of them, each dealing with a specific topic, the whole providing a broad and solid overview of the present state of the art. After an introduction framing the problem and the approach we followed, we deal in sequence with the following subjects: (Section) 2, generation by wind; 3, nonlinear interactions in deep water; 4, white-capping dissipation; 5, nonlinear interactions in shallow water; 6, dissipation at the sea bottom; 7, wave propagation; 8, numerics. The two final sections, 9 and 10, summarize the present situation from a general point of view and try to look at the future developments.     

吉林油田红岗北地区低阻油层评价技术

吉林油田红岗北地区部分井区油层电阻率相对较低,对测井油、水层解释造成了困难。利用岩心、测井及试油资料,分析形成低阻油层的主要因素是束缚水含量高,另外地层水矿化度高、淡水泥浆侵入、富含导电矿物等也是造成低阻的原因。因此,利用核磁测井资料建立了束缚水饱和度模型,形成了低阻油层的解释方法及标准,在实际应用中见到了较好的效果。     

任重道远的地震预测研究

Characteristics of Coal Accumulation of Transform-Extensional Basins in Linear Fracture Zones: A Case Study of the Meihekou Basin

This paper discusses the characteristics of coal accumulation of transfor-extensional basins in linearfracture zones on the basis of an analysis of tectonic evolution and sequence stratigraphy in the Meihekou basin.Coal accumulation of the basin occurred mainly in the accelerated rifting period of the transtentional regime and inthe late period of tectonic transformation of the transpressional regime. In the former period, swamps developed inshallow lakes. The thickness of coal seams was controlled by the activity of fault block. Thick coal was formed in adownfaulted trough. In the latter period, swamps developed in a braided fan delta plain. The coal seams are thin andhave poor lateral continuity. The thickness of coal seams was controlled by the migration of water channels in thebraided plain.     

2010年1月24日河津4．8级地震现场考察报告

2010年1月24日10时36分,在山西省河津发生4．8级地震。地震后,由山西省地震局、运城市地震局和河津市、万荣县地震局联合组成地震现场工作队进行了震情监测、科学考察、地震灾害评估等工作,经调查,宏观震中位于万荣县张家院村一带,与中国地震台网测定的微观震中相距约12km,与运城地震台网测定的微观震中相距约2km。
