Analytical formulation of a general simulation model for generation of anisotropic as well as isotropic synthetic patterns in one, two, or three dimensions is proposed. It has significance for the purpose of modeling geologic properties such as ore grades, reservoir porosity, mineral distribution, fracture spacings, aperture, orientations, etc. General procedures for such a simulation by the autoregressive process are given for model parameters estimation and synthetic pattern generation. The model works on the square net basis and generates sequential patterns first along any desired direction for unidimensional simulation and then two-dimensional patterns are constructed with reference to two orthogonal unidimensional sequences. Applications to synthetic two-dimensional pattern are shown for isotropic cases with different model parameters. The extension of the model to three-dimensional space is readily available.  相似文献

An expression for the susceptibility dyadic appropriate to the lower regions of the atmospheric plasma is derived using Maxwell's field equations and the equation of conservation of momentum. The contributions due to viscous effect and convection current density are incorporated in the physical processes within the stated medium. Mengüç, and Viskanta (1983) examined the scope of some approximate methods for solving transfer problems in plane medium scattering anisotropically. His aim was to focus attention on methods capable of extension to multidimensional geometry. In the present paper, it is demonstrated that modified double-interval spherical harmonic method admirably suits that role. The transfer problem of Mengüç and Viskanta's model has been solved by this method. The results computed are found to be in good agreement with those obtained by other methods.  相似文献

A probabilistic model for solving transfer problems in non-homogeneous, isotropic, and non-coherent scattering cylindrical shell media has been proposed. The source function is considered to be frequency independent. The scattering and transmission functions have been defined for the case of complete redistribution in frequency. 沙地植被主要有沙地高山松林、巨柏疏林、砂生槐群系和固沙草群系。砂生槐+多花亚菊群落是本区沙地植被演替的顶极群落,高山松林疏林可能会成为本区人为演替顶极群落,风沙活动是影响本区植被演替的主导因子,半固定沙区仅生长砂生槐灌丛阶段是沙地植被正逆向演替的临界状态。砂生槐和高山松在沙地具有天然更新能力和生长快的特点。  相似文献

The 120 m-wide Khedrai Dam lava channel is one of the widest recorded in the Deccan Volcanic Province. Like many recent ones, this channel also has a pair of linear marginal levees made of breccia and confines the channelfill lava. It is resting over a pahoehoe flow (substrate) of basalt studded with plagioclase megacrysts, also known as the Giant Plagioclase Basalt (GPB). The channel-fill lava, which makes the lining at the edges and basal portion of the channel, is a comb-layered basalt (Cl-B) characterized by alternating layers rich in curved, branching augite crystals and laths of plagioclase — a texture indicative of high order of supercooling and rapid cooling rates. The dominant and centrally filling lava of this channel is a plagioclase-phyric basalt (Pp-B) that has a wide variation in phenocryst number from megacryst-poor to megacryst-rich. Occurrence of centimetre to decimetre size angular fragments of Cl-B within Pp-B fill indicates mechanical dislodgements of channel-lining by flowing lava. This also suggests that the channel was reactivated before it finally lost its hydraulic gradient and solidified.  相似文献

An investigation has been carried out to identify the trends in maximum, minimum and mean temperatures and temperature range over the Indian land mass during the winter (January, and February), pre-monsoon (March–May), southwest monsoon (June–September) and post-monsoon (October–December) seasons by using high resolution daily gridded data set prepared by India Meteorological Department for the period of 1969–2005. It has been observed that the maximum temperatures over the west coast of India show rising trend in winter, southwest monsoon and post-monsoon seasons but the maximum temperatures do not show any significant trend over the other parts of the country. Minimum temperatures show increasing trend over the North Indian states in all seasons and they show an increasing trend over the west coast of India in winter and southwest monsoon seasons. Mean temperature shows an increasing trend over the west coast of India during winter and southwest monsoon seasons. Decreasing trend is observed in the temperature range over North India in all seasons due to increasing trend in minimum temperature.  相似文献
