Stable 85Rb micro vapour cells: fabrication based on anodic bonding and application in chip-scale atomic clocks

We describe the microfabrication of ⁸⁵Rb vapour cells using a glass-silicon anodic bonding technique and in situ chemical reaction between rubidium chloride and barium azide to produce Rb. Under controlled conditions, the pure metallic Rb drops and buffer gases were obtained in the cells with a few mm³ internal volumes during the cell sealing process. At an ambient temperature of 90 ℃ the optical absorption resonance of ⁸⁵Rb D1 transition with proper broadening and the corresponding coherent population trapping (CPT) resonance, with a signal contrast of 1.5% and linewidth of about 1.7 kHz, have been detected. The sealing quality and the stability of the cells have also been demonstrated experimentally by using the helium leaking detection and the after-9-month optoelectronics measurement which shows a similar CPT signal as its original status. In addition, the physics package of chip-scale atomic clock (CSAC) based on the cell was realized. The measured frequency stability of the physics package can reach to 2.1×10^-10 at one second when the cell was heated to 100 ℃ which proved that the cell has the quality to be used in portable and battery-operated devices.

中国春季气温异常变率的非线性特征

运用一种基于神经网络的非线性主成分分析法(NLPCA)对中国1951-2003年53 a春季气温距平场进行分析,结果表明,春季气温异常变率具有显著的非线性特征,当非线性主元u分别取最大值和最小值时,对应的空间气温异常分布型具有显著的非对称性.     

山西数字地震台网单台测定近震震级偏差研究

选用2003年1月～2005年3月山西数字地震台网报告中可交的地震,选取了单台样本数接近和超出100的17个子台数据,从震级偏差频次分布、仪器、量规函数、台基诸因素,对单台震级的影响上作了定量统计和分析,得出仪器影响存在一定的震级负偏差,但不大;量规函数、台基是引起山西台网单台震级偏差的主要原因.本文给出了量规函数和台基校正值,校正之后,单台震级偏差94%(即17个台中除镇川1个)以上震级平均偏差在±0.2之内.这对于提高山西数字地震台网测定近震震级,提高台网速报质量具有极其重要的实际意义.     

Description of deformation process in inherently anisotropic granular materials

The main focus in this work is on modeling of mechanical response of granular materials that display inherent anisotropy. Both the experimental and numerical investigations are described. First, the results of direct shear as well as drained/undrained triaxial tests that involve crushed limestone with elongated angular‐shaped particles are reviewed. Afterward, a mathematical framework is presented for modeling of elastic/ inelastic deformation that incorporates the multi‐laminate approach. The deformation is monitored on a set of randomly oriented planes, and the formulation incorporates the thickness of the shear band that is associated with sliding/separation process. A systematic procedure for identification of material functions/ parameters is outlined that is based on the results of direct shear tests, and the framework is later applied to simulate the behavior under triaxial conditions. Characteristics of the temporal-spatial variation in atmospheric ozonosphere over the northern hemisphere during the period of 1963-1985

The total ozone data of 113 ozone observational stations in the Northern Hemisphere (NH) spanning a period of 1963-1985 have been analysed in this paper. Some interesting results have been obtained, such as the temporal and spatial distribution, long-term trends, the harmonic analysis results, the relationship between the total ozone and solar activity, etc. Furthermore, by using the denned index G, the long-term changes of ozone meridional distribution patterns for the region of Europe-Asia (EA) have been approached particularly.     

新疆特克斯-昭苏地震断层的发现及有关问题的讨论

1986年作者在特克斯-昭苏盆地首次发现长70公里、最大垂直和水平位移均达8米的地震断裂带和地震形变现象,并认为是1716年地震时形成的。地震断裂带的展布和运动方式,与科博河-昭管处断裂相一致。特克斯断裂带是一条复杂的断裂带,它由多条断裂组成。1716年地震表明该断裂带具有新的活动性     

1987年9月19日富蕴北5.8级地震

1987年6月19日新疆富蕴县可可托海镇西北发生了Ms=5.8级地震,震中位于喀依尔提河与阿拉散河交汇处,震中烈度为Ⅶ度,等震线长轴方向与可可托海——二台断裂基本一致。震中区人员无伤亡,仅有山石滚落;Ⅵ、Ⅴ度区内的土平房、有不同程度的损坏个别砖平房,楼房出现裂缝。这次地震属于孤立型地震,震前有中短期异常。
