MyoD, Myf5, and myogenin are myogenic regulatory factors that play important roles during myogenesis. It is thought that MyoD and Myf5 are required for myogenic determination, while myogenin is important for terminal differentiation and lineage maintenance. To better understand the function of myogenic regulatory
factors in muscle development of flounder, an important economic fish in Asia, real-time quantitative RT-PCR was used to characterize
the expression patterns of MyoD, Myf5, and myogenin at early stages of embryo development, and in different tissues of the adult flounder. The results show that, Myf5 is the first gene to be expressed during the early stages of flounder development, followed by MyoD and myogenin. The expressions of Myf5, yoD, and myogenin at the early stages have a common characteristic: expression gradually increased to a peak level, and then gradually decreased
to an extremely low level. In the adult flounder, the expression of the three genes in muscle is much higher than that in
other tissues, indicating that they are important for muscle growth and maintenance of grown fish. During embryonic stages,
the expression level of MyoD might serve an important role in the balance between muscle cell differentiation and proliferation. When the MyoD expression is over 30% of its highest level, the muscle cells enter the differentiation stage. 相似文献

Steroid sex hormones, such as estradiol-17β (E2) and testosterone (T), are important regulators of sex change in fish. In
this study, we examined the effects of E2 treatment on the dynamics of E2 and T during gonadal differentiation in the olive
flounder Paralichthys olivaceus using histology and radioimmunoassay (RIA). Flounder larvae were divided into five groups (G0-G4), and fed with 0 (control),
0.2, 2, 20 and 100 mg E2/kg feed from 35 to 110 day post hatching (dph). Fish growth in the G1 and G2 groups was not significantly
different from that of the control group (P>0.05), while fish in the G3 and G4 groups were less active and showed growth depression and high mortality. The gonads of
fish in the G3 and G4 groups were smaller and surrounded by hyperplastic connective tissue. The frequency of females in the
G0-G4 groups was 54.5%, 75.0%, 100%, 100% and 93.3%, respectively. The RIA analyses of E2 and T showed that T levels decreased
during gonadal differentiation, and increased slightly at the onset of ovarian differentiation, while E2 levels increased
gradually and peaked at the onset of ovarian differentiation in the control group. In the E2-treated groups, T levels decreased
before the onset of ovarian differentiation. E2 levels were high on the 48 dph, but declined to a lower level on the 54 dph,
and then increased gradually during gonadal differentiation. And a sharp increase of E2 levels were observed in all E2-treated
groups at the onset of ovarian differentiation. The data suggest that T and E2 play important roles during gonadal differentiation,
and an E2 dose of 2 mg/kg feed could induce sex reversal in P. olivaceus. 相似文献

An understanding of what influences sinkhole formation and the ability to accurately predict sinkhole hazards is critical
to environmental management efforts in the karst lands of southeastern Minnesota. Based on the distribution of distances to
the nearest sinkhole, sinkhole density, bedrock geology and depth to bedrock in southeastern Minnesota and northwestern Iowa,
a decision tree model has been developed to construct maps of sinkhole probability in Minnesota. The decision tree model was
converted as cartographic models and implemented in ArcGIS to create a preliminary sinkhole probability map in Goodhue, Wabasha,
Olmsted, Fillmore, and Mower Counties. This model quantifies bedrock geology, depth to bedrock, sinkhole density, and neighborhood
effects in southeastern Minnesota but excludes potential controlling factors such as structural control, topographic settings,

富营养化是一个全球性的环境问题,需要更准确地评估人为氮输入对水生生态系统的影响.而初级生产者的N同位素已成为一个有用的生物指标.本研究通过测定太湖和太湖周围湖荡水生植物的δ15N,与水体中的环境因子做GAM分析,结果表明δ15N与水体中的铵态氮、正磷酸盐、总氮都有很显著的相关性,而这主要是由于植物在吸收和同化过程中有较大的同位素效应.水生植物的氮同位素值与氮的有效性和植物对氮的需求有关.当氮浓度有限时,植物对氮的需求变大并且减少了15N的分馏,水生植物则有较高的同位素值,而高氮浓度下,氮的可用性超过植物对氮的需求,15N分馏增大则氮同位素值较低.无锡地区和吴江地区湖荡水生植物同位素值有显著的差异性,无锡地区湖荡湿地富营养化最严重,所以水生植物的δ15N值比吴江地区高.总体来说,水生植物氮同位素可以作为评价生态系统人为氮输入影响的一个有效且简单的生物指标. 相似文献

本文运用分维的概念和方法,对我国部分强震前地震活动时间分维,前震震群活动时间分维,7级以上大地震的余震活动时间分维和小震群活动时间分维进行了计算。初步结果表明,同一类型的地震活动(如强震前较大时空范围内地震活动、强震的余震、前震震群、小震群等类型)的时间分维十分相近,而不同类型地震活动的时间分维存在着差异,一般说来,强震前的地震活动比较普遍地存在降维现象,表现出临近强震时,震源及附近地区地震活动时间结构的有序性增强。这为地震预报开辟了一个新的途径。 相似文献

2021年5月22日2时4分青海省玛多县发生M7.4地震。四川地震预警台网成功地处理并产出了本次地震预警结果。本文针对四川地震预警系统产出的8次地震预警处理结果及预警减灾效能进行了分析。此次地震震中距四川地震预警网55km,首台触发后12.19s发布首次预警处理结果,前5次预警处理结果用时距离首台触发时间均小于35s。与正式地震目录对比,第1次预警处理结果震中位置偏差为17.1km,震级偏差为-1.8,盲区半径为121km。随着参与计算台站数量增多,震中位置偏差和震级偏差不断减小,盲区半径不断增大。由于地震破裂时间长和台站限幅等原因,8次预警震级均偏小。本次地震预警的有效获益区为震中距121~324km的环形区域,此区域内减灾效能显著。本次地震预警结果表明,四川地震预警系统在本次地震中预警产出效果较好,对于网外大地震预警有重要参考意义。 相似文献
