Effects of surface waves and sea spray on air–sea fluxes during the passage of Typhoon Hagupit

Air–sea exchange plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of tropical cyclones(TCs). Although studies have suggested the dependence of air–sea fluxes on surface waves and sea spray, how these processes modify those fluxes under TC conditions have not been sufficiently investigated based on in-situ observations.Using continuous meteorological and surface wave data from a moored buoy in the northern South China Sea,this study examines the effects of surface waves and sea spray on air–sea fluxes during the passage of Typhoon Hagupit. The mooring was within about 40 km of the center of Hagupit. Surface waves could increase momentum flux to the ocean by about 15%, and sea spray enhanced both sensible and latent heat fluxes to the atmosphere,causing Hagupit to absorb 500 W/m~2 more heat flux from the ocean. These results have powerful implications for understanding TC–ocean interaction and improving TC intensity forecasting.     

湛江微孢虫(新种)Microsporidium zhanjiangensis sp. nov和大眼鲷匹里虫Pleistophora priacanthusis(Hua,1981)Hua & Dong 1983的光镜与电镜观察

1977年以来,作者之一先后在大眼鲷类体内发现两类孢囊和大、中、小三类孢子,由于条件限制,前曾把这三类孢子,作为一连续体而描述为同一种,命名为大眼鲷匹里虫[Pleistophora priacanthusis(Hua,1981),Hua&Dong,1983]。通过对其卵片发育、孢子形成和孢子内部结构的电镜观察,发现这些孢子在结构上和发育过程方面都有明显差异,是属于不同属,不同种的微孢子虫。上述大、中类孢子属于匹里虫属无误,而最小一类孢子按其孢囊、孢子特征和发育过程,可能为一新属新种,拟作进一步深入研究,故暂列于收集群中。由于标本在湛江采集到,建议命名为湛江微孢虫(新种)(Microsporidium zhanjiangensis sp.nov)。本文描述了上述两种微孢子虫在光镜和电镜下的形态结构和部分营养期及其区别,在讨论部分与已知寄生鱼类的有关属种作了详细比较。

南海鱼类寄生粘孢子虫的研究——Ⅰ.角形虫属五新种

在南海鱼类胆囊中发现寄生粘孢子虫(Myxosporidia)角形虫属Ceratomyxa五新种。其中的肾形角形虫C.reniforma和石斑角形虫C.epinephela寄生于赤点石斑鱼Epinephelus akaara,桂山角形虫C.guishanensis寄生于青石斑鱼E.awoara,陈氏角形虫C.cheni寄生于黄鳍鲷Sparus lalus,(鱼祭)角形虫C.clupanoda寄生于斑(鱼祭)Clupanodon punctatus。     

CONTINENTAL SHELF WAVES ALONG THE COASTS OF CHINA

Spectral analyses have been carried out on the time-series data from 16 tide stations and nearby weather stations along the coasts of China during the winter of 1980-1981 and the summer of 1981. After removing the wind and barometric effects, the authors found the signals of the southward moving sea-level variations at about 0.21 and 0.32 cpd along the coasts of the Huanghai Sea, East China Sea and South China Sea in winter, and only the 0.26 cpd southward moving sea-level variations along the coast of the South China Sea in summer. Using simple analytical models based on idealized bottom profiles of the China Seas, the observed phenomena can be explained as the lowest-mooe continental shelf waves travelling along the coasts of China.     

矿产资源调查中自然重砂测量成果的重新应用——以河北蔚县地区为例

自然重砂测量是矿产勘查的重要手段之一。如何充分提取自然重砂测量数据所蕴涵的矿化信息,发挥其在矿产资源调查中的作用是一个现实问题。重矿物的被剥蚀、再沉积是自然重砂异常形成的重要过程。在充分考虑自然降水的汇集路径的前提下,以汇水区域边界确定范围是对自然重砂异常客观的解释。区域成矿模式研究、地球化学和人工重砂资料对自然重砂测量数据应用是重要的补充。笔者通过蔚县地区1∶20万自然重砂测量数据的分析,对其中有关全面认识异常、合理确定异常、勘查方法的综合应用、软件平台的使用及在矿产开发程度较高地区寻找未知资源的途径等方面做了一些探讨和尝试。     

浮游生物——海生动物群发展的基础

如所周知,寒武纪海生动物群几乎包括了与下古生代晚期动物群同样丰富的种类,而在前寒武纪地层中几乎没有生物化石,这种情况曾引起查尔斯·达尔文的注意,他在“物种起源”一书里在以“关于在已知最低含有化石的岩层中相近种群的突然出现”为题的专门章节中谈到这件事。
