MERLIN Images of Five Compact Symmetric Object Candidates at 1.6 GHz

1 INTRODUCTIONCompact Symmetric Objects (CSOs) are powerful and compact sources (overall size <1 bpc) with lobe emission on both sides of the central engine. The small size of these sourcesis almost certainly to be attributed to the youth of the sources themselves (ages < 104 yr) andnot due to a dense coallning medium (Readhead 1996). 鞍山地区中、上鞍山群变质沉积岩中黑云母化学成分及其意义

通过对中、上鞍山群变质沉积岩中黑云母化学成分的对比,确认区内两层位黑云母化学组分存在一定差异,这种差异主要反映了其形成时变质条件的不同。随变质程度增加,区内黑云母的Si、AI~Ⅵ,Fe~(3 )、Mg和K含量增加,而Fe~(2 )、Al~Ⅳ和CH降低,Mg/Fe~(2 )比值从1.00增至2.18。中鞍山群黑云母变质温度为550—620℃,变质压力在5×10~8Pa左右;上鞍山群黑云母变质温度为450-500℃,变质压力低于5×10~8Pa。黑云母含铁系数(f)可作为鞍山地区寻找富铁矿的一种标志。     

Magnetic Field Strengths and Structures from Radio Observations of Solar Active Regions

Radio observations of some active regions (ARs) obtained with the Nobeyama radioheliograph at λ=1.76cm are used for estimating the magnetic field strength in the upper chromosphere, based on thermal bremsstrahlung. The results are compared with the magnetic field strength in the photosphere from observations with the Solar Magnetic Field Telescope (SMFT) at Huairou Solar Observing Station of Beijing Astronomical Observatory. The difference in the magnetic field strength between the two layers seems reasonable. The solar radio maps of active regions obtained with the Nobeyama radioheliograph, both in total intensity (I-map) and in circular polarizations (V-map), are compared with the optical magnetograms obtained with the SMFT. The comparison between the radio map in circular polarization and the longitudinal photospheric magnetogram of a plage region suggest that the radio map in circular polarization is a kind of magnetogram of the upper chromosphere. The comparison of the radio map in total intensity with the photospheric vector magnetogram of an AR shows that the radio map in total intensity gives indications of magnetic loops in the corona, thus we have a method of defining the coronal magnetic structure from the radio I-maps at λ=1.76 cm. Analysing the I-maps, we identified three components: (a) a compact bright source; (b) a narrow elongated structure connecting two main magnetic islands of opposite polarities (observed in both the optical and radio magnetograms); (c) a wide, diffuse, weak component that corresponds to a wide structure in the solar active region which shows in most cases an S or a reversed S contour, which is probably due to the differential rotation of the Sun. The last two components suggest coronal loops on different spatial scales above the neutral line of the longitudinal photospheric magnetic field.

高频VLBI观测射电源的结构

高频VLBI观测揭示出河外射电源在pc或者亚pc尺度上大都有核-喷流的内部结构，尤其是对平谱致密射电源中毫角秒尺度的子源，能以相当高的概率观测到它的视超光速现象。多频观测可监测到一些新喷流子源的出现，特别在射电激变源中这些新喷流子源的出现与宽带内（从光学到γ射线）的爆发相关。且得到的一些源的核区谱指数分布，为确认源的VLBI核提供了支持。     

奶牛隐性乳房炎发生规律探讨

通过对某奶牛场泌乳牛群隐性乳房炎的调查和分析。研究了奶牛隐性乳房炎的发生规律。结果表明，该场奶牛隐性乳房炎的阳性率为31.42%。乳区临诊阳性率达到10.60%。隐性乳房炎的发生随着胎次和泌乳时间的增加而增加，左乳区阳性率高于右侧，前乳区高于后乳区，在牛群（场）里进行经常性的临床和实验室检验是必要的。

不同甘蔗品种锤度与糖分的关系

使用大田实验数据和实验室数据建立了实验室锤度和田间锤度与甘蔗糖分关系的数学模型。统计分析表明，实验室锤度、田间锤度与糖分间均存在显著的线性关系，并且实验室锤度——糖分关系与大田锤度——糖分关系存在显著性(α=0．05)差异；而不同甘蔗品种间的田间锤度——糖分关系无显著性差异(α=0．05)。故不同的取样方法应使用不同的方程来估计甘蔗糖分；而不同甘蔗品种间田问锤度——糖分关系可用同一模型来描述。对三个供试甘蔗品种应用该模型进行实测验证，实测与预测值的相对误差均在7％以内。     

On the Rd Edge of the δ Scuti Instability Strip

The δ Scuti star ctalogue is used to derive the observational locations of such stars on the HR diagram.The theoretical and observational instability strips are compared to check the theoretical red edge obtained by considering nonlocal time-dependent convection theory.The observational instability strip almost overlaps with the theoretical one,but the observed blue and red envelopes are hotter overlaps with the theoretical one,but the observed blue and red envelopes are hotter than the theoretical edges.The distribution of δ Scuti stars in the pulsation strip is not uniform.
